We'll be at the CYM Aug 11-15. Our first family trip! Been leaving the AC off in the house so the family can get used to being in the heat!

Well, I went in May and wasn’t planning to go back until October, but with Mission Space and Shrek opening, and $143RT airfare available from BWI, I couldn’t resist a quick August trip. Aug. 22-25 at CBR. I'm actually arriving late on the 21st, so I'm going to spend the first night at the airport Marriott ($25 from Priceline!). This will be my first time at CBR (I'm a CSR girl!) so I'm really excited about it.

The "fairy tale" vacation package got DH thinking about WDW in Aug. We've never gone in the summer. But we are DVC members & decided to expand our HH trip into a HH/WDW trip. So we'll be at OKW 8/18-23 & HH on 8/24 -28.

August 16th to the 23rd; offsite at the Wyndham Plams Resort and Country Club. I'm travelling with DW, DD, DS and MIL, her first trip to the World. I can't wait to get on Mission: Space, and I think I can get my DD (6) on BTMRR this year.
I got an Illuminations cruise (all full, sorry) and I'll be going for CRT next week.

DH and I are making a quick trip 8/30 to 9/4 (All Star Movies). We have never been to WDW in the summer either, we usually go sometime between Nov and March. I am a little sensitive to the heat, so this will be a learning experience, we plan to take this trip a bit more leisurely than in cooler weather.

August 23rd-31st here! We are staying at the Marriott Downtown Disney ($20.03!) the first 6 nights and Wilderness Lodge the last 2. Looking forward to Mission Space, the new movie in China, the spruced up Great Movie Ride and some new restaurants this trip (Artists Point, House of Blues, Marrakesh, Rose and Crown and breakfast at Chef Mickeys.) We are also going parasailing!

DH, DD (17), DD (14) and I are going to be at the Swan from 8/29-9/1. Fourth year in a row this time. It's hot but we love it!

Honeymoon at AKL Aug 5-10.

Cindy--it will be a bit crowded, so just try to avoid the crowds mid afternoon and use fastpass. You should be fine though--we love going in August. Just know what to expect.

Staying at DTD DOUBLETREE August 24/30. This will be my DD 13 and my 4th trip in as many years and third for DS10.
DH's 2nd trip with us. (He hasn't gotten "the mouse bug" like his wife.) I already know the kids and I will be there in '04 too!
Usually have been there in OCT, went last year in August so kids didn't have to miss alot of school days. The heat didn't get us down, we followed all the tips and had a great time.

Me, DH & DS (3) are going to the Dolphin and the CR at the beginning of August.

We'll be there from the 16th through 23rd at FW. There will be myself, DH, DS(18) and DS(13). Last trip before college starts and to celebratre 25 years of marriage.

I can't wait. I hope not too much rain but cloudy skies to keep the heat down.

the 3 of us (me, DH and DS age 8) will be there 8/16-29.

DH and i will be celebrating our birthdays. (both of us - on the 29th)

We will be enjoying FW in our pop up and perhaps treating ourselves to one night at AKL.

We will skee-dattle before the madness that should be Labor Day Weekend crowds.

Yea - it will be hotter than heck and very humid, but with AC in the pop-up it shouldn't be that bad. (after the winter we had and the soggy rainy mess that we have been stuck in since April....i will welcome the heat.)
