Kind of OT, washing Tshirts

I thought I read on here about how to wash tshirts to set the colors. I just bought my DS some ringer tees. They are solid with a darker color around the neck. Does anyone know how to wash them to set the colors do the neck color doesnt run into the shirt color? Thanks!

I wash my two tone rugby style shirts with white collars in cold wash/ cold rinse. I also add a cup or two of white vinegar the first few washings. The vinegar helps to set the dye. Shout makes a wonderful product called ColorCatcher, that I throw in the machine too. It "collects" all the loose dye. Its amazing. (ColorCatchers look like softener sheets, but they go in the washer)
