Kind of amazed

I am not usually the type to make a lot of changes in our ADRs once I make them. This year, due to trip circumstances, I am making changes almost every day . I am amazed though that, one week out, I am still able to make reasonable changes. I was even able to get HDDR tickets for one night and then change it to another with no problem AND snag a ressie for the night I cancelled HDDr exactly where and when I wanted.

With free DDP, I would have thought this type of switching would be impossible this close. I am thinking the parks might not be too crowded the week before Labor Day.

Happy for you--guess I should not give up---we are not going until the last week of Sept. and I can not get anything I want.

September is not crowded at all. DW and I honeymooned there 10 years ago and ate everywhere we wanted without a reservation. Then, until our children were school age, we returned after labor day weekend and never had any crowds (did have ADR for character meals). The worst thing about September is the heat and potential hurricanes. Have a great trip.

We will be there next week too! We always go at that time every year and its never very crowded!
