:rolleyes1

Yup, my MP3. :headache:

I'll be calling the hotel tomorrow to apologize. :sad2:

Oh, and I walked 3 miles at lunch today. Felt GREAT and the weather was GREAT! :goodvibes

That's about it. I'm fried. WAY too much waiting for me today.

Hey knucklehead!!
Sorry I haven't been on in a few....:guilty:
Glad to hear you found your mp3...and that's cool of you to call the hotel and let them know you found it.....(you are going to do that....aren't you???)

O man kim! Thats great ! Ill never let you live this one down :)

honestly--glad you found it!!!

GREAT walk !!!!!!

Kim, I do that sort of thing, well, constantly. The most memorable thing recently was the jewlery on the cruise - yes, we found it in the boneheaded place we had left it. We never did find the lost kids' club pager or the key card....:rolleyes1 So don't feel bad! You aren't alone.

:lmao: I can't believe you had the mp3 player the whole time! At least you don't have to go through the trouble of getting a new one...

I see that you have proven your coaster riding dominance :worship: I'm definitely not a competitive person...and I definitely won't be scrambling to add to my coaster count...because it's ok that someone has ridden more coasters than I have....it's ok that I have to post a measley 57 up there...I'm confident with it and satisfied with my number....hmmmm.....there is a Six Flags out near San Jose....;).....:rolleyes1

have a good day Kim!

 I've finally found something I can actually BEAT Scott with!

You know I'm just kidding with ya, superman. :goodvibes Yeah, I love me some coasters. You seriously need a trip up to Six Flags Great Adventure here in lovely, scenic NJ. There's NOTHING more intense than Kingda Ka. :scared1:

Hi Kim,

I am glad that you got your MP3 player back. Yes, I am notorious for losing things myself. Awesome job on the lunchtime walk. You are racking up your miles.

Ok, you and Scott can have your little contest with the coasters, but come talk to me when you've beaten my 1347 skydiving jumps. Then you will be an adrenaline junkie.:lmao:

Have a great one,
Beth

Are you serious???? I'd LOVE to skydive, but I told myself I'd wait until my kids are adults so they can take care of themselves in case the parachute doesn't open. We DEFINTIELY need to talk about this!!

Skydiving :scared1: are you mad woman - i cant think of anything worse!!!

I'm afraid of heights, but I would do the skydiving!! I love coasters too....as long as I don't look down!!!:confused3

Count me in!!

Hey all!

I was hoping to get another walk in today at lunch, but the temps got close to 90 here, and I wasn't willing to be stinky girl for the afternoon. . Instead, I went to the running store and ordered a new pair of sneakers. :thumbsup2 I'm so excited!! Hopefully the "old" ones were what was causing my minor discomfort when running.

I have a question for you guys....

DD 8.5 wants an email account. I posted a thread on the Community Board, but if any of you have any advise I'd love to hear it! Here's the thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1587262

Cam wanted her own too...I told her no way!!! Her friends can use our "family" e-mail address....that way I get to see what she is getting....so far no one is e-mailing her.

Today she asked for a cell phone....again! Yeah...right!

Kim -

tsk tsk...I fully expected you to kick that 90 degrees in the butt with a personal mister, hydration backpack and huge bottle of Febreze to carry around with you afterwards to spray all that lies in your wake. geesh.... :rotfl:

About the e-mail....I didn't read that thread, but I DID just give my DD9 her own e-mail addy. She uses it to communicate with a friend that just moved away last summer. Luckily, it's a Comcast account that I can fully restrict all incoming mail...and only allow her to send to certain addresses (and I can also monitor at all times regardless of what her password is). She cannot sign up for anything without my consent first. I'm kind of letting it be a test of responsibility for her...I've worked a lot with her on the PC and she knows the rules. I do draw the line with IM'ing and cell phones...she won't be doing either of those for a while. I'm very 'net savvy too and work in the IT field, so if you have specific questions on certain e-mail services, feel free to ask away.

Have a good night!

Thanks for the info, Scott. I sent you a PM.

Ree Ree - Em asks for a cell phone constantly. :headache: We finally told her it won't be until she is AT LEAST 12. The email thing, I think she's ready. And maybe it'll distract her from those darn Webkinz and Club Penguin. :scared:

Well, last week was just crazy busy. I didn't take a lunch break most days. So I hadn't run since last Saturday. :guilty: I walked on Monday, but that was it for the week. I did get out there today, after DS's soccer game and basketball signups for DD. First, (not complaining) let me say that it was about 85 - 90 degrees out that by this point. So I started out with walking a mile. Then I ran 1.5 miles and then run/walked a combination of the rest. I was out there for 62 minutes and completed 4.6 miles. :woohoo: Getting closer to reaching my goal for the month.

I haven't heard from my sister in weeks, so I don't know if she's running the 5k with me or not next weekend. But I'll be out there either way. :thumbsup2

Have a great weekend, all!

Hi Kim
Hope your sister does the run with you next week, but way to go by being determined to do it with or without her :)
Thanks for booing me ;)

Hi Kim,

Great job with the run/walk. You are getting really close to you goal.

Kate has an email account. She uses it to communicate with grandparents and a few long distance friends. We have all sorts of blocks on it, and she only has access to it on my laptop, so I supervise. It has been an positive experience, so far.

Hope you enjoy the last bit of the weekend,
Beth

Which email provider do you use for her? :confused3 Thanks for the info.
