Hey guys. Glad that crazy weekend is coming to an end.

My friend was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon, since the surgeons here didn't feel comfortable taking out her gall bladder only 10 weeks after she had a c-section.

So she's heading home to Maine on Tuesday and is just praying she doesn't have another attack before she can see her doctor up there. (she definitely has gall stones, and will need it taken out) Marie - I know what you mean. Same exact thing happened to me. I had my gall bladder out in May of 1998, and in June I got pregnant with my DD! Fishy, I tell ya.
My DH was a bit sad about his new age. He's a pretty happy guy in general, he just had a little less pep in his step this weekend.

Marie - maybe you can send him a good podiatrist for those orthopedic shoes.

(just kidding

)
As for me, I went out for a run after cleaning yesterday and before we went out to dinner. I ran the 3.1 mile loop in my neighborhood in 31 minutes.

Feeling good and no pain in hip/leg/ankle/foot today.

I walked in the March for Babies today. I think we only walked about 2 miles roundtrip, but it was a rainy, cold, miserable morning. Didn't seem to phase all of the babies there, just the grownups.
The plan this week is to run Monday and Wednesday about 30 minutes each, weather permitting (I think it might rain pretty hard tomorrow). Then I'll rest up until the 5k on Saturday.

I can't believe it's this close already!
Have a great week, guys.
