Kim Possible Experience Tip

So that I can plan my day to the tiniest detail, how long is a mission?

It really depends. A mission can be anywhere from 20-45 minutes on average depending on how well you know the pavilion you're playing in. The game uses photos and names of shops, eateries and attractions to instruct you where to go so if you're really familiar with the pavilion, it can be mighty quick. Or it can take longer too. There are too many factors to reliably guarantee you how long your mission will be.

bradk, Please PM me your tips also. I'll be there this weekend.:cool1:

Thanks bradk. We weren't sure if it took 30 minutes, or 3 hours! 20 - 45 minutes is perfect.

If we arrive at Epcot around noon, will we be able to get Kimmunicators and play? I know it isn't optimal, but am hoping we can still do KPE!

from the guide:

What time will my mission begin?

If you sign up right at 9 am, it will be 11 am. Beyond that, it's not possible to say. Because it's like a FASTPASS system, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure offers return windows (which shift in 15 minute increments as opposed to 5) and once it assigns a certain number of groups, the return window gets pushed back 15 minutes. For example, the Mission Pass shown above was obtained at 9:53 am (as you can see by the time printed in the lower right corner) on as low day and it's for 11:15 am. It's also reasonable to expect as 11 am approaches and guests begin to head towards the World Showcase, the number of Mission Passes distributed will increase exponentially.

Does this mean if I sign up later in the day, there may be no more missions left?

Not to scare you, but yes, it might. The last mission begins at 8 pm. Like FASTPASS, once the return window reaches that time, it considers the attraction to be sold out and no more Mission Passes will be distributed. Generally speaking, there's not much to worry about in this respect, however during peak periods such as Easter week, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure has been known to sell out as early as 12 pm.

I would also like a copy of the tips, thanks.

I am confused by the allears article... do you have to return the device to start a new missions OR can you do as many missions as you want with the same device?

If we get a fast pass and it says for example France at 11:15 can we be late or do we have to be there on time? OR after we get the device can we start at anytime?

I think the AllEars article was based on early previews. At the end of a mission, you can choose a new one, or end it and you are given instructions on where to put the Kimmunicator.

We used ours late due to a communications issue, and they didn't even bat and eye...just like a regular Fastpass.

We were at Disney last week and we did the Kim Possible mission and we loved it!We did it around 2pm and there were other people on the same mission as us also but it didn't interfer with our mission!

Thanks, So we pick up the fast pass and then the device in the country where we are starting? Thanks for the help... I am just trying to understand this a bit more.. we leave in 13 days. :)

You pick up the FP at the KP registration station on the bridge between Futureworld and World Showcase. It gives you a time and a location. At that location (there are several) you pick up the kimmunicator and you first mission (which I believe is usually nearby, although if you've done it before you can ask for a different one).

sure..

as far as the assigned country goes, that's assigned when you first get the mission pass and you can actually tell which one it is based on the mission pass (if you know how.. my guide explains it). otherwise, it's probably in your best interest to ask the team possible CM when you sign up. they can reconfigure your MP in all sorts of ways.

I read you article thanks for the link :) One more thing.. I read somewhere someone saying they signed up on the bridge going to France? We will be coming in through the International Gateway from the Boardwalk... Is my closest sign up spot on the bridge for the Future World to Showcase or is there a place on the bridge to France. :) Thanks!

There are "Field Stations" by the "English Channel Bridge" on the UK side,in Norway and in Italy and there are "Recruitment Centers" in Innoventions East AND West and on the main walkway from Future World to WS.You can "sign-up" for a Mission at ANY of these locations and then you will be given a time to report to ONE OF THE THREE "Field Stations" for your Mission assignment.:)
