Day 5 - Wedding Glamour Shots!
After the ceremony, it was time for photographs! I won't bore you with all of them, but honestly, there are so many that I liked
.
I LOVE this one with Mark and Mia! (Although, I like the one Amy took even better...)
I sent an email to Derek (Sunshine Photographics) beforehand telling him what shots I really wanted. One of the ones I requested was our whole group on the beach. Even though everyone was sweltering at this point (and not especially thrilled to go out from under the shade of SBP) they were troopers! We all walked over to the beach and I barely heard a groan or whine
or maybe I couldn't hear them from my Cloud 9! It was here that I took off my shoes and didn't have them on again for quite a while
.
My family acting silly while Mark's family acts totally normal...LOL!
Our "new" family....
The real us! LOL!
Then, I wanted some on the dock by Yacht & Beach Club. Let me say that this wasn't too far from the beach, but when you're in barefeet on the HOT concrete it was VERY far! But, I was so happy I really didn't care! Anything for the sake of getting great pictures of the most incredible day of my life!
I love these with SBP in the background:
And I specifically asked to have one (if possible) where we were sitting on the dock with our feet in the water. We were a little unsure, but we found this part of the dock where I think they usually dock the little boats you can rent out. No one was there and it wasn't locked up, so we took that as a sign that it was fine! (I seriously burned my feet walking on the metal dock towards the water
lake water never felt so good!!!)
Okay, I have to admit that one part didn't work out quite the way I envisioned. I asked to have a few pictures taken in the photo booth. No one quite seemed to understand where I was coming from, so they turned out pretty cheesy
.by the way, the hot metal was HOTTTT in the booth! We were sweating SO bad while they took these pictures!
One picture that I totally forgot to ask for was of us by the wall by the Atlantic Dance Hall. Thinking about it still gives me a sinking feeling in my stomach so we'll move on!
These shots by the red tent were Amy's (from Disney) idea. Btw, Derek even commented to me later about how great she was by not getting in his way or anything. This was the only thing she asked for and I'm so glad she did! Hers (and Derek's) turned out really well! I love the contrast!
