We might get to the San Diego area a little earlier then we can get in - does anyone have suggestions for ways to kill an hour or 2? We will have our own car, but we are not able to do much walking... at all, we both suffer from arthritis.

You can drive to Seaport Village, but there's not a lot going on there. Balboa Park is an option since you'll have a car. The Martimie Museum is right there by the port. I don't if that's easy to access without a lot of walking, though

Hmm depends, what do you mean? Are you driving in? Specifically looking to do something in the morning before you board? There's many museums at Balboa Park that may be of interest. You could visit Old Town. Take a trolley tour, maybe. There's the ferry to Coronado Island and back.

You can drive to the Sunset Cliffs area and then to Mt. Soledad for some amazing views with little to no walking required.

USS Midway is right next door to the port. There is a Old Sailing ship on the other side of the port. We did both and they were great. With 2 hours, I'd do the old sailing ship...the Midway is huge and, frankly, too important to rush through.

You won't have time for a San Diego Trolley tour-- but a drive over to Coronado with a short visit to the Hotel Del might be nice...
