Have you ever taken a ride on this attraction in Animal Kingdom?

we first get a fast pass and then walk into the safari.....usually not a long wait.....then we do the ride and watch the animals and then either walk on again or get our fast pass......we saw so many different animals on both rides.....my favorite were the warthogs...hehehe....they were standing right there for their pictures to be taken....then we saw the baby hippo....he was so cute....everything was up and going.....

We enjoyed it! If for nothing else, it's a nice way to sit and relax while you are enjoying the animals. :D

It's one of my very favorite WDW attractions. I think it's really relaxing and incredible, plus it's different each time.

I enjoy it and for some stupid reason I just voted for 'never tried it'. Blonde moment, sorry.

I would like it better if they would dispense with the silly story line and just show us animals. Still like it though.

I like it and my 10 year old LOVES it and enjoys taking pictures. We went March 31st when it was very cool and cloudy and saw many more animals than we did on previous trips when it was hot. Even had a rhino slowly cross the road right in front of our vehicle. I agree that the story line is corny, especially if you get a CM who recites it in a tour guide voice. We did have one CM who was from Nigeria and he was excellent-he really had the young kids excited!

I think it's the best attraction at the AK.

This ranks on my list as the best ride at Disney.

However, I have suggested to some cast members that for the price they charge me for admission it seems like they could afford to reinforce that gate.

Come see the ANIMALS!

Oh yes, wasn't he sweet!

We went on KS a couple of times on that day, but only saw the baby hippo the once, but that's what I like about KS - everytime is different.

We saw a herd of elephants pulling down one of the palm trees last time, they had it completely bent over! :)

I love going on the Kilimanjaro Safaris, especially the bumpy bits.

By the way, does the bridge still tilt?
Because the last time I went on there (twice) it didn't do it.

I love the ride but I do miss the South African guides they used to have. Those accents are what made the ride so much enjoyable. I hoep someday they start letting the South Africans intern at Disney again.

LOVE it! We usually go on KS at least half a dozen times a trip. Sometimes we just go over to AK for an early KS fix before we go to spend a day at another park.
By the way, does the bridge still tilt?
Yes and no. We have gone sometimes when it does, and sometimes when it doesn't.

We love this ride. I especially have enjoyed watching the trees and such grow over the years. We first went on it opening week and I will never forget it. There were hardly any people on, it was late afternoon and the sun was starting to go down. When we entered the "plain" area everyone just gasped. It was so beautiful. It was very open then, not a lot of trees. Yes I also miss the African guides, I think they added something to the ride.

Unless the animals are close, I can't see anything.

The last few trips, the animals have seemed to be closer to me. I think this has something to do with them getting more used to the vehicles. We have had to stop and wait several times when animals where in the way. I too miss the African guides.
