Kids suite near DL?

I am looking for suggestions for a suite near DL for March. I really wanted to be within walking distance. I need to have a kids suite b/c my DH and I want the king bed and we do not want our young children sleeping in the room with the door to the hall/outside. I have looked at the residence inn which seems nice although we'd have to take the shuttle. Has anyone stayed here? Any other places to recommend?

Portofino is the closest I can think of.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Regency about a mile down Harbor and loved the kid's suite there. Not walking distance, but a shuttle is available.

My cousin always stays at the Desert Inn and Suites and it is very affordable and close. We are actually staying there one night this year before checking into the PPH in December.

Desert Inn and Suites is nice (new too!), stayed there in January and were bumped up into a larger room when we checked in. Staybridge Inn is nice too (I believe they have suites), there is also the Embassy Suites.

Thanks Vanvmom I made my reservation for the 11th of dec for one night. Moving to the PPH the 12. Anyway I called and even with the AAA discount it was over 30 dollars cheaper on there website. We ended up paying 68.00 online!
