We just returned from a 6 day stay in a Kids Suite at the Hard Rock. We are DVC members and were worried about feeling cramped - our worries were completely unfounded. There was plenty of space for my DH, me and our 2 DDs (10 and 8). And the room itself was very nice and well taken care of. We walked away definitely wanting to come back in the future.

The girls loved the twin beds and having their own room and flat screen tv

(usually we stay in a 1 bedroom and they have to share a bed, so this arrangement was definitely a bonus for us). The room also has a table and four block chairs. The chairs were high enough that we are all able to sit on them (albeit it wasn't the most comfortable chair I've sat in) - we actually ate our takeout there one night. Their room connected to the bathroom on one end and to the main bedroom/living room at the other end.
When you walk into the suite, you see a hallway or sorts, with a very large walk-in closet on the right, the mini-bar/coffee area in front of you and an entrance to the bathroom on the left. There is also a perfect place to put a mini-refrig (if you are renting one). Towards the end of that hallway is the entrance to the main bedroom and living area. This room is fairly large, with a distinct separation between those bedroom and living areas. The large flat screen tv is between these two area on top of a rather larger dressers, and can be rotated for easy viewing by either or both of the two areas. The living area had a couch and chair and an ottoman that doubled as the coffee table.
The bathroom is acutally two areas separated by a door - the first larger area has a double sink and large shower, and the second has the toilet, a bathtub and another sink. Having 2 places for our family to shower made it easier to get everyone showered in the morning.
As for location, we were on the 2nd floor, very near the elevator (which I came to appreciate when I realized just how far some other rooms were from the elevators) and across the hall from one of the two laundry rooms (the other is on the 4th floor). Our windows overlooked the courtyard that leads to the water taxi. It was a nice view - the courtyard rarely had many people in it, so it was quite quiet.
Overall, I'd rate the room a 10 - we couldn't have been happier with it.
We just got home yesterday and I haven't downloaded my pictures yet. When I do, I'd be happy to email you a couple of them (I took a few shots of the main areas when we arrived). PM me your email address.
