Kids stay, play and dine for free question

I had no plans to visit WDW until October this year, but today, not only did I get a kids stay, play and dine for free PIN from Disney, I also got a $30 off flights to Orlando PIN from SW. I've flown SW for years and I've never gotten a PIN before. Soooo....now I'm thinking a short May trip to WDW might be in order. My question for any of you who may have used this promotion in the past is, for the paying adults, do you have to select the regular dining plan or can you book the offer with the quick-service dining plan. I'm still planning to go in Oct., so if we do this extra trip I want to keep the cost down as much as possible.

Wow! That's great! I read where a few other got the SW code. Is it just good for $30 total off one purchase? Or if you are buying 6 tickets for one trip, is it $30 of each ticket? I am anxiously checking my email hoping for this!

As far a your ?, I think I read where it is the regular dining plan only, but Don't quote me on that, I may be wrong or it may have changed.

The email from SW says $30 discount for one-time use on a roundtrip fare, which sounds like only one ticket. But if multiple members of your family has a Rapid Rewards card, maybe you'll get more than one email. I've got a reward ticket to use too, so it would be a cheap flight for us.

I'm thinking the exact same thing! :thumbsup2 Got the $30 off SW code and the mailed pin code for Kids 3-9 Stay, Play, and Dine for Free. So, now wondering/hypothetically planning a trip in May.

I got a different Kids 3-9 Pin that was e-mailed to me earlier, but couldn't take advantage of it. When I priced it out, you could use the pin code for different days/nights (example mine said 4 night/5 day) but was able to book for 3 nights/4 days (but then had to cancel). It was for whatever dining plan the adult booked the kids got free. (Example adult booked QS or Regular or Deluxe the kids got it too for free).

So, now I am in the same predicament. Considering planning a quick trip in May, but also our annual Free Dining trip in September as well.

Maybe we'll see you there.

My family and I have traveled to Disney about 9 times over the past 8 years and I have NEVER received a pin deal from them!! What gives!?!?! Any suggestions on how I could be so lucky?? We are looking into going this summer and would love to have one of those to use on my 2 kiddos (aged 3-9).

The only thing I can suggest is to login to the Disney website periodically and maybe price a package and save it. It appears that they have drastically increased the number of PINS they are sending out. We've made 8 WDW and 1 DL trip in the last 5 years and I never got a PIN until last Nov. Got the first one about 2 weeks after we returned from the World. I've gotten 6 more since then. Before receiving this latest PIN, I did order the vacation planning DVD and got the PIN in the mail on the same day the DVD came. I've ordered the DVD before though and didn't get a PIN, so that is no guarantee and may have been just a coincidence. All the other PINs I've gotten in the last 6 months were emails. Never been able to use any of them, but I think I'm going to use this one.

Just thought of something else I started doing differently last fall that I hadn't done before. I used my Disney Visa to book our fall WDW trip and and an Adventures by Disney vacation. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but the PINs did start coming shortly afterward.
