we used kids nite out last year in november.
We took our two oldest to discovery cove, for the day...yes the day. We left the two little ones with kids nite out. We had called fairy godmothers, and I did not like them. My little guy had an egg allergy, and when I asked to have someone know who was knowledgeable in using an epi pen, she said just ask when they got there!! (sorry, I needed someone who could use it) And fairy godmothers never even asked my kids ages, or if they were boys or girls!
When I called kids nite out, we spent about 45 minutes on the phone going over things. Which made me feel much better.
That morning the sitter was there about 20 minutes early to talk and go over things, she brought a laptop with dvds, and lots of toys. We left money to do things at the resort (we were actually staying at nick hotel during this part of the trip). We also left money for lunch. We told her we would be gone until around 3-6 at night (depending on how discovery cove went). I was nervous leaving, but was 100% confident with the sitter. My kids were 4 and 1 at the time. My 4 year old was practically pushing us out the door. When we walked into the room after our amazing day at discovery cove, (which I have to say was the most magical day ever....), my 4 year old looks at me and says, hey, I am not done playing with my new best friend, do you think you could leave again??? My 1 year old also was happily playing with toys. They had played around the resort, done a dance party, played in the arcade, had lunch, NAPPED (HUGE for my 4 year old!!), and were making playdoh cookies when I got back! My 4 year old was so mad she couldn't finish making cookies, and her friend had to leave!
I would use them again in a heartbeat.
We have also used the neverland club (and used it that same trip). We left the 3 oldest for about 3 hours, (took the baby with us), and had dinner at ohana. We have done the neverland club twice. My girls all still talk about it, and it ranks as one of their favorite places to go!!
