Kids Nite Out questions

Our trip is coming up fairly soon and the only thing I need to do is get childcare for our date night. When we went 2 years ago my daughter went to one of the kids clubs and LOVED it (she didn't want to leave when we picked her up!) but now we have our 1.5 year old and it's just not cost effective to send one to kids club and get a sitter for the other. So I guess I'm worried about my 7 year old being...disappointed? Can anyone calm my fears lol? Especially if you've done this with kids who have more of an age gap. Please share experiences!

Also I know the pool isn't allowed but can they take them to the playground at our resort and to get dinner from quick service? Can I just let the sitter use a credit from my kids magic bands to get herself something?

We did Kids Nite Out when our twins were 5 and they had a great time. The lady did dance party, mickey shows, coloring and reading before getting them ready for bed. They also require food provided for them and kids by you if over 3 hours. They dont do water things like pool or bath but can do other things on resort property so I think a playscape or arcade if provided cash would be okay. If at a resort that does movie or campfire activities, that might another fun option for the sitter to do with them. It would be best to talk those things over when calling to make the reservation.

We used them (again) last trip with our 6yo and almost 2 yo. They had fun just hanging in the room and then going to bed. The sitters come with fun stuff to do and our kids barely noticed when we left, lol.
