They are also glad to make some alterations in the adult menu for kids; for example, you can ask to have sauces and garnishes left off, as many kids prefer plainer fare, or you can request a half portion. If you see something relatively standard and ask for it for the next night, that seems to be easy for them as well. I know when I didn't eat all the lettuce in my salad the first night, our server asked if it was because I didn't like some of the types of lettuce (it wasn't...I was just pacing myself!), and he told me that if that was the case they would be glad to have it prepared differently on the following nights. One evening when they had quesadillas with green onion in them, we asked about getting one w/o the green onion for ds; we weren't successful, but I bet if we'd asked if they could have one the next evening they'd have served it w/o a problem. On the other hand, once our server discovered ds liked strawberries (not on the menu the night ds asked for them, but provided anyway), he had a bowl of berries waiting for ds every evening!
