mY 12 year old can be a picky eater sometimes and he would rather have a grilled cheese or a burger from the kids menu. Has anyone been able to order kids meals for kids over 9.
Yes - our teen DS has ordered and adult appetizer and a kid meal at ala-cart sit-down meals. If it is a buffet - adult prices are charged for anyone over 9 years of age - even if they only eat chicken fingers.
Adults can order from the kids menu from what I'm told so I couldn't see why any age child couldn't either. But as was said buffet prices are just going to be based on your age, not what you consume even if you are 35 and eat less than a happy meal worth of food at a time like me. (gastric by-pass...not due to lack of food interest )
Our DS11 (10 during our trip) ordered from the kids menu at almost every restaurant. He would usually try an adult appetizer, eat a kids entree, and his dessert was about 50/50 kids/adult menu. We never once had a problem and we were on the DP.
