DS8 is a reasonably adventurous (sp??) and big eater. So my questions are:

1. Are the portion sizes the same for all kids meals? He'll eat twice that of a 4 year old (and he should).

2. We'll be on the dining plan offered by DVC, can I just order something and pay OOP in addition to his kids meal?

3. If he wants more of a kids meal, can pay OOP for a larger or second portion?

4. It is possible to get an adult dining plan for him? Not sure this would be worth the $ but I'd consider it to encourage eating something other than chicken fingers or mac and cheese (even though it's mickey shapped!)

Thank you

1. I would say they would not be enough for your son if he likes alot of food. My dd(8) is a big eater as well, and I know she ate ALOT of my food last year...lol.

I'm using the DDP for the first time next week and my 9 y/o DS loves alot of foods adults won't touch! His favorites are mussels, calamari, any seafoods! I made ADR's for Boma, 'Ohana, WCC and Cape May clam bake. This way he gets to eat what we do . I am giving up a few places I really wanted to try( Le Cellier, Kona, California Grill) but I will go to all of those next year when he is 10.
I also made ADR for Rainforest Cafe and will pay OOP for this for lunch 1 day.
My main concern was the CS but I will share with him, sounds like meals are large enough for 2 and can buy extra when needed. I looked at th menus on Allears and picked out the ones I thought would work for all of us.

Mussels! I've just started to appreciate them! DS won't eat them, but he still thinks fish tastes like chicken  So that's why he loves everything fish I cook. (last year I told him the truth). But that did not deter him. :goodvibes

I booked Coral Reef, Marakkesh, Spoodles and Ohana. Spoodles, I am expecting to be my indulgance. (Sci-fi OOP).

Thank you for your help.
