OK I am a total rule- following geek, but I just have to ask... Is it ok to buy a kids meal for a 10 year old? (Not buffets, I'd cringe, but pay full price.) DS is 10 and not a very adventurous eater, so I think he'd prefer the kids meal offerings in most cases.

We just got back on Sunday from a week and at every table service restaurant we were offered both the children and adult menus for my 10 and 12yo dd's.

Thank you, TJ. That is good to know. We'll be able to try more diverse places as long as I know that there is always the chicken tender back up plan!

Us, too! And DD13 is taller than me! So it's not like they look like little kids.

My dd, 13, is still ordering from the kids menus!!! And it makes it even worse that we have to pay adult DDP prices for her.
And don't worry about 'cringing' about those buffet prices. There is no way you could pay the children's price for your 10 y/o. They can still eat from the kids section but there's no way you can pay the child's price.
