Hi

I am so fed up today. I have been trying to tidy up today. The kids have been really naughty for the past couple of weeks. I know they are only 3, but I want to keep my house tidy and clean. Its not that bad, but you still need to sweep and clean the laminate, sort out the washing, dishwasher etc. The kids are making a mess wherever they go. They are no where near as bad as the children from the TV. I think I am being oversensative to be honest, but daily chores need doing. My husband is excellent he helps out alot. Its just things I want to get on with. I think its also because this is my first weekend off for a while and I want to enjoy with the kids and not have to worry about the house hold chores.

For some reason they keep losing thier cups today?? I really dont know where it has gone. I lost a plate from the dog smashing it, as she was new to the household and she suffered with seperation anxiety. It was my Mickey Mouse plate from DLRP. Anyway I have lost a small Mickey Mouse plate and we can only think the boys thew it in the bin. :confused3 They have been little minxes recently. I would imagine it was an accident, but I cant find it anywhere. Now I am down to one Mickey Mouse dinner and small plate. I am so upset.

All I want to do is get on with my house work. If they left me to it, it would be done in no time. I feel as though I am taking one step forwrds and two steps back :upsidedow

Sorry for the rant. I had to tell someone before I go mad

Sometimes i realise that they got more hypa and active according to the weather (Eg. Rain Wind).

sorry to hear the kids are having an off day:hug: i hope you enjoy the weekend

chin up, kids will be kids! wait til their teenagers then your forever tidying up!!
I hope you have a lovely weekend.:goodvibes

I hope you have a lovely weekend Michelle, sorry I can't offer any advice on the little ones, as I have none myself, but sorry to hear they are having an off day for you x

Yup I hear ya.
I find it hard with just the one,as the eldest is at school.
But madam here can make as much mess by herself, lol,I find if I turn my back a second, the cupboards been emptied,or shes poured her bottle all over the couch and rubbing it in :confused3 :rotfl:
Hope you soon get straight and feet up.:goodvibes

My two are 12 and 14 and believe me I spend most of my time picking up their stuff. They also have a thing about using every glass in the cupboard, they wouldn't dream of rinsing out the previous glass and using that, oh no, it's just get another one out, and before you know it, there are no clean glasses left in the cupboard and they're all sitting by the side of the sink waiting to go in the dishwasher, they can't even do that bit !!

oh how i know the feeling-although mine are all at school now-only just!i have 1 day a week when i`m not either working or doing my nursery assistant course so on a fri i spend all day blitzing the house ,well by 3.45pm today it was like a bomb site-the boys go up to their room and all you here is `crash...giggle.....crash...whoops....crash` then `it wasn`t me!`
i am also having a `kids grrrrrr` day!
and i`ve also been told they get worse as they get older -mine are 5 7 and 9 now!!!

Yup, enjoy it while they're little!! DD is 11 and DS is 8 and they spend all their time playing/fighting/playing/fighting. If I didn't have to be a constant referee I don't know what I'd do with myself! And I thought having one of each would be easier!
Just had to stop them fighting with belts on the landing - DS said he got them to threaten DD not actually hit her, then DD took one off him and so it began!!

Take a deep breath, put them somewhere safe where it doesn't matter if they make a mess, put your feet up and have a cuppa. Eventually they'll become your little angels again, even if only briefly, and remember you'll have that housework forever but they're only little for a short time, its not worth getting stressed about!

I got a magnet for Christmas from a friend who understands my house (aka a bomb site!!) and it says "Tidying up while kids are still growing is like shovelling snow while its still snowing".

LOL :rotfl:

My girls are 3 and 4 and to be honest I don't even attempt housework unless they are in bed or my hubby is home to entertain them.

Now I've got them into Disney i can put a DVD on for them to watch but as soon as the credits start I find myself sitting down with them - arms around each shoulder - and watching it with them. :rolleyes1

They're favourite at the moment is bednobs and broomsticks.

Remember there will come a time when they don't want you around and are in their own world - so enjoy while you're the centre of their universe!

When i've had a really bad day (at least once a week!) I always go and get my night time "fix" where I go and watch them sleeping and i can remind myself they really are little gifts from heaven!

That is so true :rotfl:

They have been so cute today. A few arguements when dd comes home from school, but they are fine today. I think I am chilled out now or at least until 8pm tonight when I have work.

Thanks for your kind words.
