Kids' Fishing Excursions

Has there been a change for the Kids' Fishing Excursions from
2 hours down to 1 hour for the same cost of $30?

My son wants to do it again, but last summer it was for 2 hours.

Hi! We're from Columbia, MD but know lot's of folks from up your way. Deb's website at the link below shows only a one hour excursion for ~$24 at the Yacht and Beach club dock. Maybe it has changed. You may have to call to find out if they offer a two hour anyplace.

Just checked the Disney website and it still shows "excursions" for $30 at either Boardwalk or Yacht ad Beach Club. But it shows Boardwalk as 1 hour and Yacht and Beach Club as 2 hours.Here's the link.

I'm curious as well. My son is interested in doing this when we go. I never checked the disney site before, but TourGuide Mike has only the one hour for $24 listed on his site.

I didn't get the same answer twice from Disney. I was told they leave from the Boardwalk Mon. through Friday. On the weekend, they leave from the Magic Kingdom resorts. They no longer do the BC/YC.

I did make a reservation since this was the one thing my children want to really do and at that time was told the time was 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

I did email guest services, but no response yet. If I learn anything of value, I'll post it.

I just checked TourGuide Mike again, and it says $30 from Fort Wilderness Marina, from 10:00-11:00 on Saturdays and Sundays only.

(Pretty sure it said $24 the last time I checked. Don't know if he updated, or if I got it wrong.)

When will you be going? My daughter and I are doing a regular fishing excursion from YC/BC in a couple of weeks. The guide I hope to get is one of the folks who apparently set up their fishing excursion program. I can talk to him to get the story. Will let you know when we get back on 7/2.
