Kids Eat Free Disney Dining Plan Question

My biggest challenge though was that my autistic son is extremely picky
I certainly get that!! DS is level 3 and takes apart everything to make sure 1 shred of lettuce or something that isn't supposed to be there isn't on the dish.
Disney has always been great though. I always feel bad though when they have to bring out multiple dishes because NOTHING can touch!!

Glad you guys had a good experience and Welcome Home!!

Who would have thought to add non existing kids to a reservation to get additional DDP credits when buying the adult DDP? Especially since purchasing tickets for them is not a requirement this time. Kind of ingenious, not morally right, but... People without young kids (or kids at all) never seem to have any offers geared towards them!
Agreed on both counts. Not something I would ever try but I did see it mentioned here when they first announced the kids eat free offer.

I wish they would throw the under 3 crowd a bone with the meals... especially if people are adding fake children anyways... I could imagine people "accdintally" getting the birthday wrong to get the free meals...

As for the fraud ,sadly unsurprisingl... think of how many people fake their kids age to get them in for free...

Yea I remember a story, I believe before the pandemic, with people trying sneak in a 5 year old in a stroller no idea about people sometimes 🤷‍♀️

My understanding is that even if you have fake kids you as an adult can’t use the credits as they are only good for children or children size portions. The children’s credits are separate from the adults so you can’t use them. If the credits were pooled all together then it was a different matter but I don’t think they are.

They are all pooled together. At a table service there is probably no funny business but with QS people could mobile order the kids meal. Also the kids are also entitled to a snack and those are all just lumped together as well.

Yeah that’s my understanding too. QS doesn’t have the differentiation but TS does. You probably dont even need to mobile order with QS, they wouldn’t care at all I’m sure.

QS hasn't been pooled for several years now. Kid credits have to be used for kids menu meals. There are a handful of places where they don't have a kids menu so you could use the kids credit for a regular meal. Really, it's just the snack credits that are pooled.

Yes I suppose I should have worded it better. As in the app will show you the kids credits vs the adult credits and thus you could order a kids qs meal for your non existent kid that you added to your room and plan if you were willing to do something unethical like that.

Adding children who do not exist is against Disey policy and not allowed to be discussed here.
