That is so cute!

ETA: I see that she is doing some modeling now!!!
Well, we've talked to Henry's grandma Jo about it and she said she'd watch 2 dogs while we're on vacation if we ever decided to get another one. Plus, I LIKE dogs, remember? :rotfl:
You goof, I wasn't worried about someone watching your dog! I figured JO would do it!

Plus, you told us to tell you you were crazy, remember?

Now, if you were thinking of getting a cat, I'd be all for it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

WHAT? Are you feeling okay? I'm impressed! Of course, I also went to Joann's to buy t-shirts and came out with $100 less for my trip! BUT! Wait til you see what I made for Saylor! woo hoo! I also got some super cute fabric for spring...and ribbon...and buttons...yikes! I also got some sweatshirts (did you see them on clearance for $4?) for the kids Mickey iron ons....SO CUTE! I can't post any pics yet, but you just wait!!!!

3 More Days!!!
:yay: :yay: :yay:
Two more posts, come on, you can do it!!!
This is probably old news, BUT! I was just on the Disney site checking ticket prices (for Disneyland) and from now thru April 24th, you can buy a 3, 4 or 5 day hopper pass and get 2 days FREE! AND, if you purchase online, tickets are around $30 less. You guys probably have all of your packages already taken care of....BUT! We hadn't bought ours yet (even though we're leaving in 3 days...yeesh!) and now I think we're going to stay 2 extra days....FOR FREE!!! Woo hoo! Just wanted to share....

YEAH!!! I know how exciting that can be!! I was so excited when I realized we could get 10 day passes for about the same price as 5 day!!!! I'll banana for you!!!

She is so cute!!! I love that outfit!!! Is she all better now?

Okay, here are the iron-ons for our trip at least:

I made sweatshirts/pants for the 3 oldest. I used Amy Mickey's basic mickey head shape and used Word and Photoshop to make up my own stuff inside (names, the 4 parks, etc.) It took more time than I had to spend! But they are cute and at a total cost of under $10, not too bad. Not too happy with my Magic Kingdom logo, but no time to worry about it.
IMG_0154.jpg

IMG_0155.jpg

I did the same thing with these--copied some of Amy's with different names in them and erased the names and put my own in.
IMG_0156.jpg

These I had Amy do the whole thing for me. Sorry the picture is so bad. The kids LOVE these! (Spongie, I was putting my Christmas cards away the other day and realized your photo is with the whole family in the Jedi shirts. Loved it!)
IMG_0157.jpg

I was at Wal-Mart the other day and saw these "insert your own artwork" sippy cups on clearance, so I bought a couple and printed off some more of Amy's designs and put them in. Both cups say "Lily" and "Walt Disney World 2008"

Love EVERYTHING! You did a great job and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sippy cups!
She is so cute!!! I love that outfit!!! Is she all better now?

thank you and YES she is all better!:goodvibes I am so HAPPY!

Very cute!
I LOVE this and I'm thinking sugarbees will want to CASE this for her baby! Your baby is so cute, I love her modeling!

Thank you and she can feel free to CASE away!

My*2 - I agree I love the blue and brown together...

Thank you! I saw this fabric at hobby lobby and just had to have it but I actually got it at Joann because it was cheaper!

Oh MY .... She is a cutie! Great outfit too. I love the combination of blue and brown.

Thank you!

OMG I am loving those sippy cups! I really need to go look at the other Walmarts and see if I can find any. My 2 year old still can only have those she turns the other cups over and bad bad things happen. ;) I love the sweats too! Such a cute idea!

OK Revrob you asked for it. Again I am not happy with the way it turned out but it could have been much worse I suppose. No up close pics though lol. She wanted to wear it when I got done with the ruffles so I of course gave in. We went and bought ribbon to match (and Wow I love our ribbon store!) and I think I am going to add ribbon in different places and I think it needs more than just the castle in the front. I was thinking a crown or something in the back cause then I could add sequins or beads etc everywhere and cover up some of my mess ups.

BTW where does everyone get their overalls from? Anywhere better than others? These are walmart ones and I must say I am not to fond of them, but that may be more because I picked up a 3 T and she is a 2 T.

For us non-creative people, is there any places we could buy these adorable outfits??? Are any of them on Ebay?

I think if you search Disney boutique clothing on eBay, you'll find stuff. I mostly lurk on this thread (I love to look at all the pictures), but I seem to remember it being mentioned near the beginning. Also, I'm sure some people here sell their things, but I'm pretty sure they can't advertise here.

I don't know if anyone remembers me but I was here alot in the summer and then we had a lot of medical issues come up and I was unable to post. I am back and trying to get through this thread! We are going to the World in March and I can't wait. My oldest two will wear customs each day we are there

I went to Joanns tonight looking for the new Friends around the World fabric and sniff, sniff they didn't have any! :( But I did manage to get 2 yards of Mickey christmas fabric for next years stash for a whole whoppin $2 a yard. So I guess the trip wasn't completely wasted. :rotfl:

On another note I was googling today to see if I could find a free pattern for a strip work jumper and I came across this http://kandykissesboutique.typepad....?/photos/uncategorized/2008/01/02/grace23.jpg Dunno if I can post the image here or not since it's not my image so I just posted the link. Anyone know of a pattern for this little beauty???

LOVE all of this! I always forget to check the Creative Disigns - there's such great stuff there! Great use of it here!

GREAT JOB on the overalls! Cute, cute, cute! - YES - the ribbon store is the greatest! I need to get over there to pick up some ribbon that I need for a few projects. It's the greatest place to find ribbon around here! About where to find overalls - the only other place I have bought them around here is occassionally Old Navy.

AAAAHHHH! It's a good thing we're friends because you are KILLING me! Those are so dang cute!!! GOOD JOB!!!
Okay, going to try to upload some pics...gulp....

jham was sooo right! I actually tried to msg you earlier about your adorable daughter and gorgeous outfit...but...got some weird error message! ANYWAY! I'm not sure exactly how to "CASE", but...sign me up! :)

This skirt was "whipped up" real late a couple of nights ago. I just went to town with my ruffler, stitched some rows together then did up a side seam. I didn't measure things nicely or place seams carefully because dangit, I just don't have time! It is a tad long, but oh well. Also I tried my first--well I don't even know what it's called, it's not a rolled hem, but the other thing to edge my ruffle on the bottom on my serger--way easy. I :lovestruc my serger. It is so fun. I love the whole "cleaning up the edges" feeling. :rotfl:

IMG_0160_edited-1.jpg

I don't love this T-shirt, I couldn't find a fitted girly one anywhere. The applique turned out well though. I may add a bow to the mouse and make it a Minnie, same with the T for DD10. Then again, maybe not.

The big kids' t-shirts I appliqued:

Here is the Nemo dress I posted before, but I made pants for it now.

And here are the Ts for the big kids. The applique is really not as wobbly as it looks in the photo!
