Will it last out there in Utah??? Or be gone soon??

Love the pics Wendy! Norah looks like she is grinning under that scarf. Fortunately here in Utah we are supposed to have a white Christmas, they are forecasting a couple more little flurries before Christmas and the stuff we got last night and today should last I'd think. Unless it gets ugly and rains.

My favorites! You are going to have some happy realatives come Christmas! I haven't wrapped anything either.

So cute! I'm glad you got the vaseline out!

Yay! I love it! I love the little light bulbs: they are so cute! I'm glad your husband gave you a man compliment too, LOL!

Everyone in snow: cool snow pics! They looks so pretty. My kids have never seen snow. They are so deprived (right, living an hour and a half from Disney, LOL!).

Any lurkers please say hi to us if you see us. I'll be looking out for customs but I am pretty shy so I don't think I will run up to someone and harass them unless I am sure I have seen their beautiful children on this thread! Have a great weekend everyone, I'll miss all of you, my friends! :grouphug:

Hi guys, I haven't been on in about a week. My new job has been a little crazy and of course all of the Christmas things going on it has been pretty crazy!

That said my DH and I made a new build a bear for each of the kids and I was wondering if anyone has a pattern for pants or a shirt that they wouldn't mind sharing. I know I can look at some of their other BABW clothes and draw out a pattern when I get off work but I really was hoping to skip that step because I have way too many gifts to craft this weekend! TIA and I can't wait to catch up with the thread, I have missed you all!!!

Okay...here goes. I've been promising to post the outfits that I've been working on. They are almost all completed. Some need buttons and button holes, and the Cinderella dress needs to be hemmed and some sort of closure on the back.

I just got done with this one this morning. I love black and pink together.

This skirt is for Alexis to wear at Disney..I still didn't make her the shirt.

I've had this fabric forever and don't love it. So this was the best I could come up with.

This is a dress that I made a few months ago. It needs a hem and a closure on the cape.

Okay..I did have better pictures of this dress and can't find them. Anyhow, the fabric is to die for. It's absolutely lovely, and I can't look at it enough. I actually needed a glass of wine to cut it. The dress still needs to be hemmed, but Alexis loves it.The bodice doesn't photograph well, but there is sliver trim across the front like a mock corset, and yes, I actually hand stitched all of the silver cording on the bodice and sleeves. Also the dress is just basted to the bodice, so I have to still stitch it down and topstitch around the waist. I think it will make the skirt lay flatter.
I hope you all like the pictures. Oh yeah. The grand total for the dress....a whopping $30. Cool huh?

I graduated in 1995. I lived on Long Island. You would think big hair would have still been going, but I'm sure there was no more big hair...I re-looked at my yearbook to check. I wan't a popular girl, so Iw anted to be sure. :lmao:

I did not make that frog dress. And my tummy is actually HUGE in that picture (my chest too). My hand was at the middle of the underside of my tummy....and I was wearing an L cup bra, which is why I wasn't wearing a bra (I was wearing one of those apron dresses that "squishes"). :scared1:
An L cup, huh? Where in the world did you find a bra that size? I don't even know what cup size I was when I was nursing Sawyer because I never found a bra that fit me.

You Long Island girls must have been ahead of us Kalamazoo area girls in hair fashion!

PPPFFFTTTTTTT!!!! Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee! I have ONE blood related nephew and YOU put him in a DRESS!!!! UH! I would never do such a thing! :snooty: Oh, that poor boy when he starts dating! He's the baby of the family, and much doted on, so he will have all of us there to meet this poor girl! And, or course, offer our expert opinion on why she is NOT good enough for our little Sawyer!
He would make a pretty girl though, wouldn't he? :thumbsup2 Henry was just appalled that I put his son in a dress. I figure it's the only opportunity I'll have. Did you know that your nephew, Steven, was a ballerina for Halloween when he was 5 because it's the only costume they had? True story (Tim and Liz told me).

Aw...he'd make a pretty girl, too! :lmao:

Wow, I guess I have heard of the diarrhea song, but I certainly did not know there were so many verses!

That's what we're here for Steph, to spread knowledge.

I love the little jumper and Megan's curtsey. Her doll (forgive me that I have forgotten her name) looks adorable, as usual!

OH...MY...GOSH!!!! That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Wow, you get to see that from your front porch? That's worth the snow and the cold!

So...what's a person have to do to get on your gift list?:cutie: What wonderful gifts!!! I especially love the matching mother/daughter shirts. How sweet!

She looks absolutely gorgeous! I just want to squeeze her little cheeks!

Very nice! Congrats on the man compliment!!

Isn't it crazy how something can look so pretty, but be such a big pain in the butt (the snow, not Nora)? You have such a pretty house and an even prettier little bundled up girl!

I don't post here very often, but I couldn't NOT respond with a few more verses of the diarrhea song! :lmao:

Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
No pain, no strain
Just sit and let it drain!
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
It runs between your legs
And it tastes great on eggs!
:rotfl2: Oh my gosh, I think those are the best ones yet!! I'm so glad you chimed in to help us out! ;)

$30 for that beautiful Cinderella dress?! Wow!! The fabrics are gorgeous! I love it all, but especially the other formal one you made and the adorable kitty jumper. Great job!

Stephres,

Did I see somewhere you are going to be at WDW this weekend? We plan to go to EPCOT Monday and probably MK tomorrow. Guess I should get started on DD's outfits huh? LOL

LOVE the matching doll outfits!!!!!!

Here is the finished nemo. I wanted to put the fin lines on the nemo, but hubby said no. He all of a sudden feels the need to say what the design needs. So it would take a few seconds to do. hmmm will have to look at it for a bit, but I think the outfit is cute and simple and perfect for the nemo ride at DL.

Very cute. You did that one fast!! I think it looks fine without the lines on his fin.
How many more sets are you going to do?
