You know, I don't think I ever posted those "required pics". I do have a few. In one, I'm even wearing a handmade dress....

My "wedding": (these are family digi pics...I never scanned the professional ones)

And a pregnancy pic:

8 mos pregnant with DS5 (Like the dress??)

No big hair pics. I was too young for hairspray in the 80's. Sorry. :cool2:
The pictures are cute- I was to young for the big hair too, but there was this one girl in 4th grade who had wall bangs- I think she must have had older sisters to help her hold up that hair while it got stiff :lmao: It was WAY up there!!!

I know you said not to complain about a messy house, but please forgive the mess behind me. This is me on Nov 22 2005 getting ready to go get induced for DD. I ended up having a c-section because she was breech.

th_Dayofdelivery.jpg
We all wrote labor stories too around the same time we posted the pics- If you feel like it you could share that too. :)
Thanks!

I'll have to track down the pic of him in a dorothy dress and mink hat when he was 19 months old....maybe it's on DH's computer. :)

I have to FIND my senior pic. I think I only have one, and it's in DH's wallet. I was a senior well after big hair.

Here's a cute pic of my kiddos at DD4's 1st and DS5's second birthday party 9they're 12 mos and 36 hours apart...we celebrate together)

Do people mistake them for twins?? My dd and nephew are 9 months apart and people mistake them for twins sometimes. We call the Irish twin cousins

I don't remember if I posted this before, so here's Sawyer wearing the dress that my niece, Courtney, wore in my wedding. Teresa made it! Henry wasn't too pleased to see this picture, so why not post it online for the world to see!

Oh my he is really going to LOVE you when he gets older- you should keep that one in a nice safe place -don't want it to disappear before you get to "use" it :rotfl:
What a sweet baby. They look so pretty in dresses at that age!

Here is Sammy wearing the family christening gown. The girlish bonnet was just for some extra fun/future humilitation.
th_sesame005.jpg

We have one of those dresses too- the bonnet really does make the whole outfit doesn't it??

I finished the tree shirt and took a pic, I'll post it tomorrow with the snowman skirt I made for my cousins daughter

YES the Dress, Well that dress is totally FABULOUS!!!!! You must have spent hours and hours with all the layers and ribbons and gathering..... So beautiful- Your dd and the dress.
I finally broke down and sorted the laundry mountain today- Glad to report No injuries!! And it got to 32 degrees here today :thumbsup2 And I got All the major sewing done today- just hemming left..... Unless I add more projects to my to do list :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

And I got my christmas cards out- I feel so accomplished :thumbsup2 I did not get to write a letter which I had planned to do but at least I got them out!!

Gotta tell you TJ I have two great aunts who do not celebrate christmas and birthdays and one year I forgot and sent them christmas cards- They reported to my grandma who kindly told/reminded me that they appreciate the pictures but that I should make sure to take them off the list for next year. OOPS, they are both great ladies and I'm sure they weren't angry at me or anything- I just plain forgot and I almost did it again this year- I caught myself as I was addressing the envelope.

Wow, I guess I have heard of the diarrhea song, but I certainly did not know there were so many verses!

Ok, this is the last one. I am packing up my sewing machine until after Christmas. I'll try to check in at lunch time and say good bye.

This jumper was so easy! And I learned to make pleats; I don't think you can see them because the fabric is so busy. I will definitely use this pattern again, I was really pleased and how fast I could finish this. Also, I am think I am getting better with the zipper.

As you can see, it's no longer cold here. I hope we can still wear the mickey santa hat shirts I made. Maybe we will just be hot: suffer for fashion!

How do you guys post multiple photos in one post? I'm going to post my labor stories but I want to have pictures of the kids when they were born and of course one now of all three of them. Thanks.

Laura:flower3:

I finshed making all of my planned Chritmas presents!! I'll try to remember to take pictures before I wrap them all!! If I get the mountain of presents wrapped, I might try to do a princess custom for DD. If not it can wait until after Christmas. Gotta go to Walmart to see if they have the princess pillowcase. I must be crazy for even thinking of going there the weekend before Christmas - just for a pillowcase!!

You finished?!?! I can only hope to finish! I still have at least one more top and doll outfit and finishing a couple of blankets and...and...I will never finish. Now I just found out we are having surprise/uninvited company staying at our house the week after Christmas, which means no craft room, which means no sewing even though my trip is in January, which means no playing with my Christmas present/new sewing machine, which means cooking and cleaning for 3-5 additional people. I normally love company, but this means I don't know how I will ever finish my customs for my trip!!!! UGH!!!

Okay, Cindee, I stared longingly at your beach photo, but despite my jealousy, I do love my snow! And my mountains!!

Here are a couple of pictures I took a couple of days ago from my front yard. I wanted blue sky behind the snowy mountain but the clouds wouldn't get out of the way :confused3

Wow!! Thats a BEAUTIFUL view!!

Okay, just a few more photos. DD2 got out of the shower this morning and wanted to put on a princess dress. Yes, I have trained her well, I'm so proud! I found her last years Halloween costume and put it on her and she was acting so cute. She was really in character. And her hair is still wet, the vaseline is pretty much washed out now, a week later.

DSCN3030_edited-1.jpg

And I was going to post a photo of the Christmas peasant top I made DD10 (with matching headband) but I took it in the gym at her school and it is awful--very grainy and blurry and yuck. I wanted to go to Costco to buy a new camera today, but the roads are not so good right now.

I am impressed! Now can I please be adopted into your family? My kids too?

We had a girl who had the wall bangs. People were making fun of her by the time we were seniors to "tear it down". LOL.

You do NOT want to hear my labor story, trust me! :scared1:

And people mistake them ALL THE TIME for twins. Especially since DD is the younger one, and DS is a little small for his age. It's tough, because we have maturity issues with him and problems remembering she's younger and can't be held to the same standards. (BAD mommy!)

WOW! I never sew Christmas presents, as they never get done. I just make stuff and give it when it's finished. :) I'm impressed you got all of that done!

I still love that abby cadabby outfit. My kids haven't watched Sesame street in forever, though.

Kids are so cute-at least sometimes..... What a pretty snow white!!! :cutie:

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: So was this the mid 90's and said in a reagan-type voice???
I'm sure they'll grow out of it soon- ds has the same problem- his ds is 2 1/2 years younger!! She is a tough cookie though-she is the youngest AND the ONLY girl among the usual playmates.
Steph- I'll post the tree pic right now just for you- hold on one minute ok never mind I'll post it separate....

My dh said- did you buy it with the tree already on it. I said I did it all myself are you impressed and he said it looks pretty good. Which in "man" speak (sorry tom) is a compliment.
The whole applique thing is easier then I thought it would be. The curvy stuff is a little tricky but you just have to go s...l...o...w and it works pretty good. If you haven't you should all give it a try!!

Last Night....And Today! We got 6-8 inches dumped on us!!!!

I don't post here very often, but I couldn't NOT respond with a few more verses of the diarrhea song! :lmao:

Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
No pain, no strain
Just sit and let it drain!
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
It runs between your legs
And it tastes great on eggs!

Will it last out there in Utah??? Or be gone soon??

2cutekidz- all those creations are great- they'll be happy kids on christmas!!!
