She most certainly was serious! We all shared our wedding pictures a while back, along with some pregnancy pictures, some prom pictures, big hair pictures, etc...

What a beautiful bride you were!! What year did you get married?

I was married in 1996. Thank you.

BEAUTIFUL! This is a great picture and welcome to the thread!

Thank. I will try and get preggy pictures too.

PS any ideas for matching custom tops for "grown ups" with a Pirate and Princess party theme? DH wants to have matching tops for the P&P Party next month

What about peasant or poet shirts? You could make a matching mickey bandana for the men and simple corset for the women, or something. They might take a while though. :(

I guess you would call this the "anti-snow" pic ;) This is a rare pic I took of DD not "posing" (As you all know she is a HAM for the camera)

Cindee

I had planned to post pics of all the Bitty clothes I made.....
I finished them and wrapped them and forgot to take pics!

She is BEAUTIFUL! Love it! TFS!

I know you said not to complain about a messy house, but please forgive the mess behind me. This is me on Nov 22 2005 getting ready to go get induced for DD. I ended up having a c-section because she was breech.

You know, I don't think I ever posted those "required pics". I do have a few. In one, I'm even wearing a handmade dress....

My "wedding": (these are family digi pics...I never scanned the professional ones)

I LOOOOVE these! Especially the one of your husband on one knee! How romantic!
And a pregnancy pic:

8 mos pregnant with DS5 (Like the dress??)

No big hair pics. I was too young for hairspray in the 80's. Sorry. :cool2:

Cute dress! How adorable are you!

The dress reminds me of a stoy on the news last night. Well, actually, it was the weather report. The anchorman said something to the affect of, "Next up, the weather, where there is a chance of icy frog overnight." The meteorologist then came on, and SHE started saying there was a chance of icy frog too! I was cracking up! When they went back to the anchorman, he was laughing too, and warned us to all watch out for icy fog, and those icy frogs on the road too!

My senior picture didn't have big hair either, so you go right ahead and post your senior pictures.

Oh yeah, any pictures of your son in a dress or with bows on would be appreciated by 2Cutekids little boy!

I'll have to track down the pic of him in a dorothy dress and mink hat when he was 19 months old....maybe it's on DH's computer. :)

I have to FIND my senior pic. I think I only have one, and it's in DH's wallet. I was a senior well after big hair.

Here's a cute pic of my kiddos at DD4's 1st and DS5's second birthday party 9they're 12 mos and 36 hours apart...we celebrate together)

UGH...I can't believe I remember some of this song...

When you're sliding into first
and your rear's about to burst
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
When you're sliding into third
and you're trailing liquid turd
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
Diarrhea, pfft, pfft
When you're sliding into home
and your pants are full of foam

I remember there being LOTS of verses to this song. :rolleyes1

I think we've sunk to a new low...:rotfl:

What pretty wedding pictures!! What year did you get married? I love the frog dress. Did you make it? What a cute little tummy.

Now, I have to ask what year you graduated because big hair was still going strong when I graduated in 1992 (and when I got married in 1994).

I know you said not to complain about a messy house, but please forgive the mess behind me. This is me on Nov 22 2005 getting ready to go get induced for DD. I ended up having a c-section because she was breech.

Look at how cute you are! You are definitely not allowed to apologize for a messy house when you're 9 months pregnant! Besides, I think your house looks fine.

Thanks!

Wow, how cool that they almost share a birthday! What a couple of cuties! You and DH aren't bad, either! ;)

SHE STARTED IT!! (points to HeatherSue)

:rotfl:

Oh yeah? Well, I had a lot of encouragement! Didn't your teacher ever tell you "Don't laugh at the class clown, you'll just encourage them"? :rotfl2: Besides, Stephres wasn't aware that the song existed and I just couldn't live with the thought that I had deprived her of such culture.

I don't remember if I posted this before, so here's Sawyer wearing the dress that my niece, Courtney, wore in my wedding. Teresa made it! Henry wasn't too pleased to see this picture, so why not post it online for the world to see!

Sawyer looks much better in a bow than Matthew!!

I graduated in 1995. I lived on Long Island. You would think big hair would have still been going, but I'm sure there was no more big hair...I re-looked at my yearbook to check. I wan't a popular girl, so Iw anted to be sure. :lmao:

I did not make that frog dress. And my tummy is actually HUGE in that picture (my chest too). My hand was at the middle of the underside of my tummy....and I was wearing an L cup bra, which is why I wasn't wearing a bra (I was wearing one of those apron dresses that "squishes"). :scared1:

Yes, you were just fixin to spread some culture to the uncultured masses!

PPPFFFTTTTTTT!!!! Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee! I have ONE blood related nephew and YOU put him in a DRESS!!!! UH! I would never do such a thing! :snooty:
:lmao: That's a good bribe picture for when a date comes to the house.

Oh, that poor boy when he starts dating! He's the baby of the family, and much doted on, so he will have all of us there to meet this poor girl! And, or course, offer our expert opinion on why she is NOT good enough for our little Sawyer!

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: Didn't want him to feel left out!

Matthew looked pretty cute in those bows too!

I wanted to make the rice packs too - but when I tried, the rice STUNK!!!! I heard someone say use flax seed????? Any more ideas out there?

There are some links for Rice Bags on the SewForum site. I believe you have to register with the site in order to be able to see the posts... I highly recommend the site - there are some very talented ladies posting there.

What a sweet baby. They look so pretty in dresses at that age!

Here is Sammy wearing the family christening gown. The girlish bonnet was just for some extra fun/future humilitation.

Oh my gosh, you guys are too cute!!! I love this idea! I don't think, okay I KNOW my DH would not go for it. But, it would be great if he did!

Thanks! DH actually wanted to wear his Finding Nemo shirt to work as soon as I finished it :goodvibes

Here is the peasant top and bloomers I made Bitty Baby yesterday. I figure they will be generic enough to go under whatever else I make her.

th_Laylaphotobucket.jpg
That is so pretty, and the baby doll dress is cute too!! :cutie:
I love the face!!!

Do we think alike or what? I swear I didn't read your post before I posted mine! Sawyer seems to be feeling a lot better this morning. He has had a few bouts of diarrhea, but otherwise seems OK. We've been singing the diarrhea song all morning. If anyone here doesn't know the diarrhea song, I'd be happy to share.

On another note- LYDIA IS FIVE YEARS OLD!!!!

Looks like everyone had a great time at the birthday party and that cake- WOW. I got one of those betty crocker dome/filled cake pans and made ds cake one year. It's kinda fun when I have the time to do it. I always plan to much and run out of time. So thankful for sams club and they have yummy cakes so I don't feel to bad ;) AND by the way that song has been stuck in my head all day too!! :sad2:
PS any ideas for matching custom tops for "grown ups" with a Pirate and Princess party theme? DH wants to have matching tops for the P&P Party next month

The shirt's look great. I guess I am lucky my dh was very cooperative in the whole "matching" thing. Although I did let him help pick out designs to use. We did Iron ons- That would be a great thing to do if you run out of time your next trip. Check out the creative DISigns board/threads- they people are awsome too!!
so sad, I need to possibley change our trip ticker to a whole yr later. The reason we go to Disney is for Disney AND to see our best friends who live in Tampa, well this yr we are meeting our friends in VA for a weeks vacation possibley 10 days :) and we are so very happy about that, but we will be stretched out of vacation time and $$$$. We will still get to see our friends, but I am just SO sad that I won't be seeing my favorite place on earth this yr. I feel like I wanna cry.
That is SO SAD:sad1: I agree with the others- Try to "sneak" in a short trip. At least look- it will make you feel better:)
