GREAT pics! It looks like you guys had a FANTASTIC time! Love all of her outfits, she is soooo cute!

Believe me she HAS to be cute. She's going through some monster defiant not listening stage that has me at the end of my rope. I'm at a complete loss at this point about how to get through to her. The naughty spot isn't phasing her these days, loss of privileges, nothing bothers her or gets through to her. I'm sure it's just a phase but I hope it's on it's way out. We've been going through toys, etc. trying to pare down so that there isn't too much stuff laying around to get into, and I'm thinking about starting some sort of reward system for doing good things so that she has something to work toward like going to the movies or getting a new book at the book store.

She can be a real sweetheart when she wants to be but these days the whining, the bossiness, and the flat out tuning out to anything she doesn't want to hear or do is getting old. And people say that the twos are terrible, those people obviously never had a 3 year old. :scared1: My personal favorite is being told "how" to drive my car by someone who can't reach the pedals and has no clue.

I just have to order our photopass CD. There are GREAT pictures on that one. I was going to get it this paycheck but my pick up got wind of me spending money on something else and decided to blow the alternator last night (Merry Christmas!:santa: ) so I had to replace that this morning. I am not complaining, the alternator in the pick up was the one that was in it 12 years ago when I bought the truck. The truck just knows when it's not convenient for it to break down, it always picks holidays, or right before vacation to break. :lmao: Right before our big Disney trip in March of '06 the top half of the engine needed to be replaced, nothing like trying to figure that one out a couple of weeks before vacation. At least the alternator was a cheap and easy thing to fix in the grander scale of things that could go wrong.

Okay, I'm going to go to bed, I've done a lot today but I've got a lot more to do tomorrow. I love it when you get the big Santa gift and then two days later it's on sale for enough less that you've got to make the trip in to get the price adjustment. The Twin Time dollhouse that Santa is bringing just went on sale, I just got it last night but at least Toys R Us will do the adjustment instead of having to return and rebuy it.

So we'll have been home a week tomorrow and I'm just now getting around to pictures... I've been busy dealing with a very very defiant 3 1/2 year old. I'm almost at a loss figuring out what to do with her, you'd have thought that Santa talking to her would have gotten her attention but apparently not.

I'm trying the Elf on the Shelf deal now so we'll see. Delaney wasn't too keen on the idea of having a spy in the house that reports to Santa. She's very unsure of it.

I'm working on the house to make it less chaotic. That's part of the problem. We're trying to cut back on the amount of stuff around here, there's too much of it, so we'll see if this weekend and the coming week don't help that out some.

Here's Belle, Beast and Delaney at MVMCP

I've got a couple of Christmas outfits to sew between now and Thursday when DD has her holiday party at preschool. I'd like to get both done by Christmas so she can wear one on Christmas Day.

I'm almost done with the holiday shopping. I did most of it today just have to get a couple of last minute things and bake some goodies for Thursday and Friday for our friends and DD's teachers.

I love the doll tights! I'll have to remember that for when DD gets an American Girl doll but since she's so rough on things I'll be waiting a few years, although she may get a Bitty Baby next year.

I've started planning our trip in June for Delaney's birthday. We hit the 180 mark while we were on vacation last week so she's all schedule for BBB and birthday dinner at 1900 Park Fair. I didn't realize that CRT was Fairy Godmother only for dinner so I booked 1900 instead. I hope DD likes it. We'll probably do Akerhaus again too. She really LOVES it there. This time we saw Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine and Belle. Delaney was in heaven.

We're haggling over hotels right now, as much as I'd like to stay at AKL I'm not sure I like the price tag that goes along with it, maybe we'll split the visit at two hotels, although that sounds like a lot of work to pack and unpack twice.
Thank you so much for sharing your pictures! I love to see pictures taken at Disney World! Your daughter is such a cutie! Three year olds can be SOOOO tiring though, can't they!

Off to start Dallas' christmas outfit! He is less then interested in it and says he won't wear it! We'll see. I told him I would sell it if he doesn't want it and his tune has changed a bit. It is going to be the grinch and he has now said just make a nice face on him! But I cannot for the life of me find a white tshirt anywhere! I have hunted the past two days!

Thanks - if anyone knows Lisazoe's email or username on that big selling site (I forget the code name) can you please PM me. TIA
Howdy Cdotla!!! Nice to see ya! If you get ahold of Lisa, tell her we miss her!!! I am sure she is sewing up a storm for all of her customers!!!! :goodvibes

Awesome pictures....I love the outfits!!! The MVMCP looks like so much fun :santa: My DH canceled my trip for next year so I need to live it through you all!

Not yet, but it's starting to pile up! Brian got home an hour ago, and I don't see his footbprints anymore, and the roads are SLICK!!! People are actually driving SLOW! How is it over your way?

Heather just landed at Ohare. She is staying the night at a hotel there. I'm hoping she gets home ok!

So far we've gotten close to a foot of snow. It's suppose to be blizzard like condition here this afternoon, so I guess no shopping for me today!
Is Heather driving from Chicago? I can't imagine driving for a long distance today! I hope she gets home ok.

We are COVERED here too! My husband went to his church this morning at 5AM because he was on donut duty! (making the donuts)He just called to say that he would not be taking the kids out later. My meeting was cancelled though, so I didn't have to worry about going anywhere.

Heather and Henry are suppose to be driving home today from Chicago. It looks like a really bad stretch of road between here and there, so I will be praying that they get home safely.

STEPHANIE, TIFANI, ALLIKAT !!!!!!

Are you guys ok???? My Mom just told me that there was a bad tornado over your way. If you guys get online, make sure to let us know how you are!
:worried:

YOWZA!!! I didn't even know that. Can you believe that I slept through the entire storm here last night. But, I did wake up early this morning for church and there were palm branches everywhere. So, no tornado here in my specific area, but it was mighty windy!!!

I hope everyone else is OK!!!!

DH went out to shovel - that's right I said shovel - and our neighbor 4 houses down snowblowed his way down the sidewalk and helped clear the bottom of our driveway and the rest of our sidewalk. Our neighbors between us will have a nice surprise when they go out to shovel. Funny story - we actually have a snowblower, but it doesn't work in the winter!! You can fire it right up when it's above freezing, but not when you really need it!! The dealer suggested we keep it in a warm place, like our basement! :scared1:

 I'll say a little prayer for Heather and Henry. I'm sure they'll take it slow and arrive home safely!!

In the meantime would you mind telling me which stitch is the stretch stitch? I want to make a long sleeved tee shirt dress for my little darling. I would really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.
I'm sorry that I didn't see this sooner. My special needs dd has had some health complications this week so I haven't been able to be on.

The stitch for stretch fabrics is 5. The manual says to use the "J" foot, select stitch 5, and "sew the fabric without stretching it." Hopefully, someone else was able to answer before me.

Thanks for all the compliments on my Wiggles from everyone. Unfortunately, one of my twins "don't like Wiggles" anymore so she refuses to wear her outfit. They wore them to the show in August then at least once a week until a few weeks ago so they did get a bit of wear out of them. Such a fickle age group (preschoolers) that the Wiggles target. Poor guys, she turned on them literally overnight. :)

We have a little diva-princess here ,too. (that's what we call her). I hate to do this to you, but I'm telling you anyway: It doesn't get better at 4. :sad2: Dh adn I constantly tell one another that it's a good thing she's cute. so many

Can't wait to see the new pics!! and sorry abotu your truck. :( One of our cars always decides to have issues days before we go away too....I think they're psychic.

WOW!!! Home for a week and already with the pictures. That sure is nice. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Wish someone else would post their WDW pics....:confused3
...t.

Your wish is my command!! I'm uploading to photobucket as we speak so as long as my family cooperates, I should have pics posted soon. Unfortunately, I didn't get great pictures of the few customs that I had for the kids.

We had a wonderful trip. The weather was gorgeous. I saw very few customs at the parks, but I ran into glorib at the Crystal Palace Friday morning. I recognized her little guy in his checkered Mickey camp shirt during the Pooh parade. I wish I had been quick enough to get a pic of him high 5'ing my DS.
Both of the kids are even more adorable than their pictures!!

WAY too much snow to shovel!!! And it's REALLY HEAVY!!! I'm glad you had a neighbor that could help you out!

Now, that is one diva snowblower! Maybe you should build a heated garage just for it? :rotfl:

My Mom just called, and Heather is about 20 mintues from home!!!!!!!   We were suppose to go over to my Mom's house for supper and celebrate her coming home, but with these roads, we aren't going anywhere. :(

Poor Wiggles. ;)

I hope your daughter is doing better.

OOOOHHH!!! I can't wait!!! So exciting that you got to see Glorib! Was her daughter wearing the Marie outfit?

I decided to take a break from sewing and read up a bit, but sitting here just makes me need a nap! So off to nap with DS.

Okay, I hope I have these all resized okay. Photobucket is giving me fits.

The obligatory picture of DD at Minnie's sewing machine. No custom on this day, unfortunately.

They said that this guy sitting behind us was Dum Dum from Night at the museum. DS had to go back to the hotel Lodge because he wasn't feeling well.

The only picture I have that shows the lightly decoupaged capris that I made for me.

Customs for Chef Mickey. Megan's dress had 3 long tiers and was very twirly. She was twirling around in he lobby at the Wilderness Lodge and a lady yelled across the room, "THAT DRESS IS SOOO AWESOME!!!" She and Dniece also got lots of attention at Chef Mickey. Megan wore her dress again the next night at WCC and the waiter started calling her "Polka Dots".

I also have some beautiful shots of the castle with the holiday lighting if anyone wants to see those.

No, she was wearing the blue Pooh toile and polka dot dress. Lori even had her hair all "princessed up" with a tiny tiara and blue sparkly glitter. She looked just like she had come from the BBB. princess:

FIRST THINGS FIRST..We are all ok. We slept through the storm too. But it was very windy last night and even still this morning. Now it's finally cooling down a bit, I've got long sleeves on Little. Of course I could have slept through a train running through my bedroom last night.

Amy- what great pictures. Looks like the kids had a blast!! I am starting to have WDW withdraw now. Thanks so much for sharing them w/ us!

Boy it sure would be nice to see pics of those*2*angels. HMM...:confused3

Made some cookies last night, am at my MIL's now to work on some more. I start my new job tomorrow and Little's Christmas dress is still just a pile of fabric. Not to mention I promised someone some fur cuffs:rolleyes1 . I better get movin'!!!
My new job is exactly 3 miles from home and I am thinking about walking to and from work. Reduce my carbon foot print and maybe my waistline a bit. I just hate the thought of adding 2 hours of travel to my work day. We'll see.
