Wow, I would love to get my hands on some of the fabrics in your stash. I might actually make something for myself out of those prints!Speaking of my stash, I promised to show a current photo of it. I think TeresaJoy(ce) thought it might help when her DH complains about her buying "more fabric". She can show him my stash and point out she's not nearly as bad as she could be.Anyway, I just took this photo. I decided I won't try to show all the stash because much of it is in boxes and cupboards where I can't easily photograph it. However, this photo shows what I think of as my "working" stash - and is probably about 1/2 or less of my total stash.

Another "speaking of" segue... in an effort to use up some of my stash while also figuring out my ruffler foot better, I've been working on making some twirl skirt sets that will also help use up some of the blank tees I've acquired over the past year or so. Here's one I got done between working on other projects:

I also made these 2 skirts but just need to decide what kind of top to make to go with them. I'll probably do a simple tee for the Christmas skirt but I was thinking of trying a hoodie type top out of a cool lacey knit fabric I have and put a tank or tee underneath - not sure if I'd prefer white or brown.

The outfits are gorgeous as usual. I love the oink and brown design especialy.
I second this! I just went to that site yesterday for the first time in months and I was so impressed. Now could you apply the same organization to my personal photosIN PRAISE OF THE PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT KEEPER!
I just want to publicly thank the photobucket account keeper! I don't go on there everyday, just when I'm looking for some inspiriation. I was just there, and WOW! You've done a LOT of work since the last time I logged on! I'm SUPER impressed at how organized you are! I just wanted to say thanks for keeping up with what has to be 1000's of pics and keeping them accessible to all of us. You Rock!

Wow, now that is a stash! My stash is spread between my attic and my basement. Any boxes or bins you see either have fabric, patterns, or trim in them. There is a closet I didn't photograph that is full to overflowing with fabric and stuff, and there are bins and drawer units under all of the sewing tables. Yes, DH LOVES me, lol. Otherwise, he would never tolerate my hoarding.
Souds cool,I wish our local Hancocks hadn't gone out of business (and right before I began sewing). I would love to see a picJust wanted to let every one know that I found the cutest new Mickey and Minnie fabric at Hancocks the other day. I will try to post pics this weekend.
It is a red background (red is on the orangish side - matches Michael Miller's ironwork red on white). Mickey and Minnie are dancing -- pretty small -- looks like they are drawn --very cool. It was 5.99 a yard and 30% off.
Keep up the good work.
