If I sound totally out of the loop here, but I just recently stumbled upon this thread and would love to learn how to do all of this spectacular stuff.
But first off, how do you decide which outfits to where....where? I mean, do you just browse the photos on here and decide what patterns you like and then find fabric that would go with it, or are there certain prints you decide for the kiddos to where at each park/character meal etc. ahead of time, due to your ADR's iteneraries??????? The photos(which really is my real passion-scrapbooking/photos etc.) look soooooooooooo awesome when everyone wears coordinating outfits, and I saw in one photo the Dads/Grandpas also blend nicely by just wearing the same color scheme! I am soooo impressed.
We are doing in Dec. and it is my 10th trip (I think) but first expanded- extended family trip. I want us to ROCK like you guys!

Look I even did three of these guys, I can fit in here if you help.

You mean, we are suppose to PLAN these things???
When anyone here finds a fabric they like, but don't really NEED for anything at the moment, but decides to buy it for 'someday', how much do you buy? DH thinks I'm nuts, but I figure if I dont get it when I see something I like, it may not be there later.
Let's just say, WAY WAY too much and leave it at that, ok?
I hear you I was left out also. I think HeatherSue is playing favorites.
I'm her favorite! I'm her favorite!!!!
No kidding I am starting to think instead of multi quoting this whole thing I should have just done seperate ones to cheat.
If you start doing that, I will start doing that....
Okay, I was finally able to upload pics. Here are two I made for DD4:
Donald Duck-her favorite:
And Minnie mouse:
Don't know yet how I feel about the Minnie but she absolutely loves them both so I guess that's all that matters! And YES!, she thinks she is a model!
These outfits are great! I love that ruffly skirt!!!!
I'm so sick of these recalls, too! How dare they sell us dangerous stuff for our kids!!

We had to return some of the kid's favorite toys to JCPenney after they were recalled due to lead paint.
I can't even begin to tell you how mad I am about these dangerous toys! Corey said I need to get him a belt sander, and he will just make the girls all of their toys!
Great pictures and I LOVE the outfits! Uncle Jessie from Full House??!
Same thing that popped into my head!
Good job on meeting the banana quota!! I haven't made any outfits specifically for Disney yet. But, I'd just say go with your gut for things that you think would be cute in a specific park. Obviously, a lot of people do animal print stuff for AK. Teresa is going to make ice cream themed skirts for all of our girls for eating at Beaches and Cream. So, just use your creativity and you'll come up with a great idea!
Yep, I'm making 5 ice cream cone skirts, and then we are going to get the Kitchen Sink!!! MMMMMMMMMM
Hey now, who went to the store and bought that fabric????
I finished one other outfit for my DD1, but of course she will not model it for me!

I cased this idea from t-beri:
It is much cuter on, but like I said no modeling today! Well, I shouldn't say its finished, I still have to add buttons!
CUTE!!! You did a nice job!
a shameless post to up my count
Cool it, I say cool it!!
Our new WM does not carry fabric and I was told by the mgr. they were phasing it out and the new stores will not have it and soon the others won't either.

I like WM because I am usually there for groceries anyway now I will have to drive into town for a fabric shop.
Email them, call them, let them know how you feel. There is a link in Heathersue's siggy. We had a fabric deparment near us reopen because of all the feedback they got! And, our new Superwalmart opened with a fabric department! (Yes, a brand new
Walmart opened with the SUPER part allready attached! Not a half done Walmart, a whole big SUPER Walmart!)
add a pic to a shameless post.. hehehehehe come on Lori!!
see like this!
Shameless post or not, this is a cute picture!
I was just looking on ebay for sheets that I could use for fabric and found this.
I remember having these sheets as a kid. I'm not sure what I would make with them but I think I must have them just in case.
I love these! You need to get them!
Here is a pic from last Halloween. DD was Stitch, although most people thought she was Eeyore.
Aww, cute! I thought it was Eeyore at first too.
