For all y'all without avatars by your username- why don't you have an avatar by your username? If you're not sure what an avatar is, mine is Tessa with Cinderella there on the left.

How do you do an avatar? I'm still a newbie to this "chat" thing and when I joined it was really to ask a question or two and then I was going to drop off into oblivion but now I'm hooked! I suppose if I checked it out it's somewhere on the page with all of our info. I'll have to check it out!

:rotfl2: That is the same reason that we started doing Xmas eve PJs! It is all about good pictures for the scrapbook that I will complete when my children are 30!!!!:lmao: Maybe this year I will make them, hmmm that is a pretty good idea.

I buy pj's every year for that "coordinated" early in the morning look for my scrapbook pics. If my kids have a finished scrapbook ever it will be a miracle! Thirty might be too soon!

Ok here's my avatar for now I gotta learn how to put my own pic in. Oh good someone got the mickey head posted I was just going to do that.

More of my labor story:
With my 1st- My waterbroke 3 days after my due date I was at home folding laundry and thought my bladder gave way on me- so i didn't say anything just waddled all wet up the stairs and went to the bathroom when I sat down the fluid just kept trickling so I called for DH and told him it was time to call the hospital. He asked them what to do- they said come in but not to hurry as I was not having any contractions yet. So we took our time both took showers and I shaved my legs for one last time- It was january and up here in the north we like to have a little insulation if you know what I mean. So we got to the hospital around 9pm and about 6am they started pitocin as I was not progressing fast enough. I went from 4cm-10cm in 2.5 hrs. Sarted pushing at 8:30am and he was born at 9:07am. With my 2nd I was having contractions off and on for 2 weeks before she was born. They kept getting closer & closer then just stop!!! So when my husband got up in the am to get ready for work and I had been up for a couple hours walking up and down our street I said this is it- we are going in she is coming TODAY!! It was 8 days past my due date. So we went in I was only dilated to 3 but was having regular contractions 5-8 minutes apart- the triage nurse checked in with the dr. about all the triage patients then came back and said the dr. thought I had suffered enough and they were going to let me stay- hoorah!!!! So we called everyone and got settled in to our room and I walked and walked then the dr. said I should get moving so they put me on pitocin again around 4pm. Things got bad then and they let me sit and rock in the chair which helped alot. I had to get in bed after a while then all of a sudden or so it seemed it was time to push, but where was the dr.- She was in surgery then they told me not to push- WHAT DON'T PUSH- needless to say they got another dr. to fill in til she got there. When the baby wants to come it comes it does not wait for the dr. get out of surgery!!! DS was 7 lbs. 8oz. and DD was 7 lbs. 11oz.
Ok sorry that it is so long.....

Well here is my labor story or I guess I should say stories...

I was in labor for 26 hours with my DD6, I thought I could be tough and not have an epidural. I sucked it up for a LOOOOONG time, I finally decided to get the epidural when I was climbing up the back of the bed with every contraction. It was 8 oclock and I was 8 cm at the time. After the epidural I really stalled out and started acting "drunk" from the previous drugs. I was then able to fall asleep for a little bit, my Dr. kind of forced this on me a little as he was delivering 5 people that night and we were all at 9 cm so he had to slow some and speed up others. I luckily got to take the slow route, but then he gave me pitocin to finish dialating so he could go to bed! He then had me start pushing before I was fully dialated, he said I was close enough...then after over two hours of pushing I he was tired and he just gave me an episiotomy and vaccumed my DD out. I think the episiotomy was just about the worst part of the whole thing, especially the healing...my DD was a healthy 8lbs 7oz.

Fast forward 14 months and 2 days and I am back in the delivery room with my DS5. This time I LOVE the Dr. that is on rotation, much more personable and he just had a baby the week before so he was very sympathetic towards laboring women!!! Oh and did I say he is GORGEOUS too! I was only in labor for about 12 hours and pushed for about hour and a half. He did have the cord loosely around his neck and needed oxygen, but he was 9lbs 8 oz. His weight was totally unexpected even the Dr. said that he was definitely not any bigger than my DD was...haha he was only a whole pound and an ounce bigger!!!! BTW I walked in and demanded the epidural immediately!:thumbsup2

Then we thought we were done after our first two but to our surprise...last year we had our DS1 which was by far my scariest delivery!!! My Dr.(had the same one as with the 2nd baby) kept a very close eye on my size this time. After doing an ultra sound 3 weeks before due date he estimated the size at about 8 1/2 pounds, so he set me to be induced on his next on call day about a week later(about 2 weeks early). I went into the hospital at about 8 am and by the time I was hooked up to IVs and got the pitocin going it was about 9 am. I really didn't have any contractions until they cranked it up at about 1pm then a few hours later I was finally in a good contraction pattern and ready for my epidural. After I was relaxed with my epidural I pretty much fully dialated within an hour or so. But in this time, I started getting a fever and they said if I didn't have the baby by 8 then I would have to have a c-section because of infection. I was pushing by now and it was my easiest pushing yet, the baby was coming out fast(for me). Then all heck broke loose, my happy go lucky Dr suddenly had fear in his eyes. I was given oxygen, and my DS's hand was delivering with his head and he had to push it back in, then his shoulders got stuck and the nurses had to start pushing on my stomach to get the baby out ASAP. My DS came out with assistance and then he had the cord very tightly wrapped around his neck. He was blue and not crying. NICU came rushing in and it was 2 very long minutes until he cried. I was so scared but everything turned out ok and he weighed in at 9lbs(thank God he wasn't delivered two weeks later!) and had a broken collar bone from being stuck. All of this clearly had no affect on him as he is behind me right now trashing the dining room! Gotta go! Sorry this was so long, the more babies you have the more stories I guess, no more stories for me!!!:goodvibes

Love all of the L & D stories! It's nice to hear everyone's horror stories!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: My first delivery/pregnancy was difficult since DD4 was 9 lb 1 oz. but DD2 was only 7 lb 14 oz so she was a breeze! Thank God you forget how hard it all is!

Everyones costumes look fantastic!!! Hope everyone had a fun night.

I just finished this one, its Tinkerbell & Friends.

There's glitter all over each of the fairies wings & wand on the back leg, glitter on the star.

The jeans say "Faith, Trust,Pixie Dust" with 6 fairies in total.

Where did you get the fairies from? Or did you print them out on fabric? I've not seen them that large. And I am NOT showing this to my DD.

We love reading their books! Not to criticize - but did you know Never fairies don't use wands? (We're becoming quite the authority on Never fairies at our house...) Though the newest big book, which we don't yet own, has them experimenting with wands.

I made a Rani costume (with wings) for Halloween...well, kind of close, complete with a leafkerchief pocket. I even took a trim with jumbo pearls on it and made a 'bubble' necklace a-la Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon. DD loved it, even if no one knew who she was.

I hate the fact that 20s is warm. I will stay below 0 for months at a time. We get down to -45 regularly in mid-winter, and have snow on the ground 7 months of the year! We lived in Hawaii before this so it was quite a shock. I'm ready for the beach now!!!

My little man was born on June 2nd!!! Pretty dang close in age I'd say! How funny.
Wow, they're only 11 days apart!! How cool! Sawyer's due date was June 24, but he was a little early. You used to live in Hawaii!?! Ohhh...I just LOVE Hawaii! DH and I went to Kauai when I was pregnant with Tessa. It was truly Heaven on Earth. Here's a link to the house we rented:

I just got our photopass so I'll be able to post some pictures, hopefully tomorrow, my iMac should either be fixed or at the Apple Store tomorrow. There are some really good ones of Delaney's outfits.

Well, no root canal today for me, instead I will be visting the oral surgeon earlier than expected on Monday and those 4 pesky wisdom teeth and the three others that need fixing will all be pulled then. So much for getting caught up on my sewing... I just got some more fabric on my way home. I just have to plan a little more for the outfits for our Nov./Dec. trip. I'm hoping to be able to be up and working by the middle of next week. I'm going to move my sewing machine in here to the bedroom while my hubby keeps our DD out with him, he'll be working from home most of next week.

Labor was interesting. My water broke at 8:30 am, I finally ambled into the hospital around noon, they had been waiting for me, I had been waiting for some contractions. I hadn't really had any. One of the docs from my practice, the impatient one, put me on pitocin when I got there. I went from 2 1/2 - 3 cms to 6 in about 4 hours, then I opted for a little pain relief, I wasn't hurting a whole lot then but the doc coming on for the night was in a c-section, so I said sure, got a little nubain (good stuff by the way) and then decided I was brave enough on that stuff to have an epi. After that I went from 6 almost 7 cm to 10 in about an hour. Since L&D was so busy, I ended up taking a nap and we started pushing around 11:30. After 2 hours, we though I was just tired of pushing and we were going to stick the vacuum on Delaney's head and she'd be out, well little miss' shoulders were stuck, so I ended up with the push team, the pull team and the neonatal team since there was a little meconium in my amniotic fluid. She was finally extracted, without having to have her collar bone broken, and I took the brunt of the damage with a 4th degree tear but I have to say that I have nothing but love for my anestisiologist, I felt only the last two stitches. I was just so happy to have the baby out. It took me a few weeks to realize what sort of trouble we were in, let's just say even light narcotics knock me for a loop. I didn't think anything was too terrible but it sure hurt to sit down for the next 6-8 weeks while that horrible thing healed. I'm still waiting, 3 years later, for my high needs baby to chill out and quiet down, I'm guessing that's just not going to happen now. HA!

My delivery sounds far worse than it actually was when it happened. Better living through chemistry!

I need to find some more disney Christmas fabric, everything I've seen at Joann's is blue, I was hoping to find something in red or green. I also want to make a nice pair of embellished overalls, I have to practice some more applique so I feel more confident. I have a beautiful pair of dark red velvet overalls, I want to add cuffs to the bottom of the legs and then add cuffs to a long sleeve tee for DD to wear when she sees Santa at DTD.

I still haven't made DD's Mickey Halloween twirly top. I'm going to probably have to put that off until next year, I'll probably move onto her Thanksgiving outfit and the Christmas stuff for our trip.

I just hope my mac gets fixed tomorrow, I really need all my trip information off of it. I wish I had gotten that printed before DH took the machine with him to work.

I've got to go figure out what we're eating for dinner tonight. Then I'll be getting things ready all weekend for DH and DD to eat that he can just heat up. I'll be eating soup, jello, and mashed potatoes for the next week I'm sure.

I had a fourth degree tear with DD4 too (my first baby). I swore that at my six week check-up my doctor was going to examine me and say, "Whoa, what is going on here!" because I hurt so bad! I don't think I sat down w/o pain for 3 months! And don't even talk to me about going to the bathroom! TMI, I know! My advice to new mothers is don't stop taking the stool softeners!

You know the guys on this site love this whole discussion!

First click on "user CP" up near the left hand corner of the screen.
Next, under "Control Panel" on the left, you will see "Edit Avatar".
You can pick one of the pre-loaded avatars (which would make me confuse you with someone else who has the same avatar), or you can upload your own from your computer.
First, you'll want to resize the picture you want to use and save it to your computer. I'd be happy to help you with this part if you want to PM me (I'll help anyone else if they need help resizing their picture).
Once you have the picture resized and ready, scroll down the page until you see the "custom avatar" box.
Click on "Browse" and find the picture file in your computer. Make sure the "use custom avatar" box is checked.
Hit "upload" and it should be set!

I had an episiotomy with Tessa. Everyone said I should feel normal within a few weeks. Well, try 1 1/2 years!! Yikes!! :scared1: Thankfully, the episiotomy with Sawyer went smoothly, except for the midwife (or midhusband, it was a guy) in training that sewed me up. OWWWW!!!! There, now we both shared too much!   (I hadn't used the bananas for a while and they were feeling neglected)

Need help with your avatar?
Sorry to shout, but I have the sneaking suspiscion(sp?) that most don't read my long posts. Otherwise, how come no one commented on the story about Tessa outside, naked, pooping on the deck when she was 2. :rotfl2: Either that, or you're just considering calling social services...

Anyhoo, if anyone needs help with resizing their personal picture to make into an avatar, just PM me. You can upload your picture to photobucket and I'll e-mail you the downsized version.

I'll probably take you up on that after I catch up on this thread, only 40 more pages to go! Since I was the one who posted about "losing" my child first, I'm not calling social services on anyone! I love the picture I have in my mind about her pooping on the deck...did you get any pictures of her doing this to save for bribery time once she starts dating? They would definitely work!
:rotfl: Your comment about dressing this way for church made me remember a woman from our church 30+ years ago. She was a beautician and kept her hair a light blond... and big! For some occasions, though, she'd use KoolAid (unsweetened) to tint her hair to match her outfit. I swear it looked like she had a big pile of cotton candy on her head some weeks. We were very impressed... back then. :rolleyes1

FYI - I have used KoolAid to add color to my hair for fun. I don't have bleached hair but it still shows up a little. However, it doesn't wash out immediately so I thought I'd better add this warning in case someone wants to try it out. popcorn::

I love the thought of a lady in church dyeing her hair to match her outfits! My little old great aunts were once upon a time red heads and they continued to dye their hair will into their 80's so it looked nice and pink! When I taught middle school I always had kids that would dye their hair with kool-aid. They also used some gel stuff (kind of a "punk" or "alternative" group of kids) that really really really dyed hair a very bright color of blue, red, green, pink, whatever. I think they bought it at a skater store. That stuff was powerful though!

Sorry if it seems like I'm hogging the posts, but I can only manage to multi-quote about one page. Otherwise my fragile mind can't seem to remember what it wanted to say when the time comes! I've got a lot of catching up to do!

OK, HeatherSue - just because you asked (and it was about time I did) I got myself an avatar AND a siggy! I'm a cool kid now!

Next up, my labor stories. I loved reading everyone's so I'll share mine, too.

With DS (4), my water broke on its own at 4:30 in the morning on March 2, 2003. I add the date in because I REALLY wanted his birthday to be 3/3/03. I had gone to bed at like 1:30 or so in the morning that night, got up at about 4:30 go pee for the millionth time that night. As I got up off the toilet, I just felt a HUGE gush. (hope this isn't TMI) And it just kept gushing, so I sat back down on the toilet. When I finally slowed to a trickle, I took a shower quick, then woke up DH who did not believe me at first. (Admittedly, I have this bad habit of playing jokes on him.) I finally convinced him that this was real, so we called the hospital and headed there. This was my first baby, so of course I had had a bag packed since like week 20, LOL.

Well, about halfway to the hospital, I realized that I didn't pack anything to do - like a book, cards, movies - you know, something to take my mind off of labor? Ha. Well, I wasn't really contracting yet, so I made DH go back and pick some movies to take with us. Yes, I am crazy.

We got to the hospital and were admitted. I still wasn't contracting regularly, so they had me walk. So I walked. And walked. And walked. Or maybe I should say I waddled. I was so huge. I'm only like 5'2'' on a good day, so I was ALL belly. I could knock things over with that thing.

After an hour or so of walking and no progress, I had to start on pitocin. Well, it sure worked alright. Started right off the bat with pretty painful contractions - all in my lower back. They just kept crankin that pitocin up and up. I just kept stalling out - stalled at 4, crank the pit, stall at 7, crank the pit. I think I got my epidural when I was about 5-6. I thought that would help, but not so much. It kind of took the edge off a little, but I was still hurting pretty badly. Finally I got to 9 1/2. And I was there for a couple hours. Nothing we tried would get me to 10, so at 4:55pm I had a c-section. I was terrified. I'm not sure why. I'm a NICU nurse and see deliveries and sections all the time. All the bad stuff that could (but rarely) happen just kept running through my head.

Everything was fine, though, and DS weighed in at 8 lbs 9.8 ounces and was 22 inches long.

My next child, DD (2) was a scheduled c-section. It was lovely. Well, the no laboring part was lovely. The four sticks to get my IV and the 2 sticks for my spinal was not lovely.

Also, while I was getting prepped for the section, a Med student was in with the anesthesiologist. I do believe they had already given me something in my IV, because I think I was a little loopy. So they go to put an oxygen mask on my face and I hear the anesthesiologist explain this to the student, then asks what room air oxygen is. Well, the student is hesitating, so I guess I thought I'd help him or something, so I start whispering "21 percent" a few times. Then the anesthesiologist thinks I'm talking to him, leans down and asks what I was saying, so I say louder "21 percent. room air." And he starts laughing. I then wanted to tell him not to let that med student touch me, but I refrained. I think he left after that anyway.

So, DD was born on June 3rd, 2005. She weighed in at 8 lbs, 9.8 ounces (yes, EXACTLY the same weight as DS - but she was 1 week early) but she was only 20 inches long, so she looked a lot chubbier than DS.

Now, to finish out this monster post, I'll share my latest creation. It's for DD's pirate skirt - someone posted a link to a design of a pirate mickey head with a tiara on it, and that inspired me right away. I had been struggling figuring out what kind of shirt to make. I was leaning toward peasant top thanks to all you ladies who voted for the peasant shirt, but I just loved that design, so I went with it. However, my take on her design was much cuter in my head than on DD's shirt. I hate when that happens. I still like it, but I wonder if I should just make a peasant shirt, too, and see what I like better.

OK, so here it is:
th_pirateshirt1.jpg

th_pirateshirt2.jpg

I think the part I'm not crazy about is that I wish the tiara showed up a little better. Well, that and the eyepatch doesn't show up well, either.

Whew! Sorry for the ginormously long post!

I love this! The skirt is fantastic! The shirt is great just the way it is too!

I finally finished Lauren's Christmas Mint dress. After I made the bodice I lost all motivation to sew, not sure why. I forced myself to get back in the sewing saddle and finish this dress. It is going to be long on her but I figure that is fine since it is COLD :cold: here at Christmas and the longer dress will keep her warmer. I am also making pants in the red fabric (straps) to match.
Lauren refuses to model anything, once she is dressed in the AM she will not change her clothes for anything! She could be soaking wet from spilled juice and covered in mud, she will not change without an argument.
th_Christmasmint002.jpg

I have tried multiple times to flip this and it looks flipped in photobucket but is on its side here. SORRY! Just lean your head to the side.

Love this dress too! I've got that candy fabric and I'm not sure what I'm doing with it. Is there anyway to see the dress in a bigger picture so I can CASE it better?:)

These aren't the greatest pics but wanted to share the costumes I made for my kids. They are more than pleased with them and that puts a smile on my face.

A better pic of Michael's costume. My nephew is also in this pic, he had already taken off his doctor costume.

Love all of the costumes! They look too hard for me though!

okay, first things first.
I had a Miss Piggy Puppet too!!:thumbsup2
Expect me to be CASEing the triangle ruffle soon-I'm starting a "WE HATE RUFFLE'S" club...:rotfl2: consider this an open invitation. There w/ be a codeword and secret handshake involved:cool1:
I love: mousetripers MNSSHP outfit and GLORIB's pirate princess outfit (too cute!)
And, how cute is Parker in her Barbie costume, GREAT job!!!

Now, as you can see I was successful in the push for bringing the laptop on vacay. God bless WIFI! So, here I sit in the most beautiful villa (almost makes up for being "off" property) we are just a stones throw from Seaworld. It is currently 73 degrees w/ 96% humidity. Mac wants to go to the pool, I said just step outside:rotfl: Looks like rain for sure, luckily the chance of rain tomorrow(MNSSHP) is pretty low. Everyones tempers seem to have evened out and I'm letting DH sleep in to keep him in a good mood. My MIL is still a little frantic, but that's her normal state. I would like to say right now that while I am complaining about my inlaws it is not b/c they are my "inlaws" I consider them my parents too, and frankly I'd probably be complaining more if it was MY parents. But the thing w/ inlaws is that you can't ever say the things that you might say to your own, so I am biting my tongue when I would have told my parents they were annoying and needed to chill the BLANK out!!

I will join the Disboutique-ers annonymous... My name is Tifani and I too brought my sewing machine to WDW!

I just couldn't find time to tackle the ruffle from the underworld. With packing etc. it just had to wait. i decided since we had a down day today w/ several people joining us getting in on different flights I would use the time I had here instead of staying up all night and making myself crazy. I've tried 3 different rufflers. My moms hadn't been used since 1942, the one I bought at joanns had a bent blade and broke 2 of my needles before I realized what was going on and my MIL's didn't actually fit her machine.

While attempting to hand ruffle I ran into problems, I am ruffling a double layer ruffle and both ruffles are doubled...so whenever I ran into a seam the ruffle broke. Now of course I am limited to what sewing supplies I brought, but I am thinking of using dental floss and zig zagging over that to gather the "monster ruffle".

Well, I guess I'd better go and put this dress together while DH and the girl are still sleeping, DS is watching Goosebumps and the inlaws are at Publix.

The digicamera and loading dock are here too so I should be able to keep you all up to date w/ pictures, I know you can't wait to see the patchwork dress, I hope it's not too disappointing:rolleyes:

...t.

I LOVE the fact that you are taking your sewing machine to Disney! That is fantastic! Hope you are having a great time!

I was just at Hancock's and found 3 new mickey fabrics. Didn't have any way to take pics though. They also have Minnie dot on sale for 60% off. Juist thought I'd let you all know.

How come everyone else can find the "real" Minnie dot fabric and I can't! I bought it once last February or March online but I haven't seen it since online. I'm on a "list" to be notified when it comes back in stock. My Hancocks has never had the Minnie dot fabric in stock (they said that when it does come in stock someone buys the whole bolt at a time). I may have to check it out tomorrow though!

WARNING!!!! VENT AHEAD!!!!

I had a Dr. that did the same thing to me!! Dare I say that if we tried to sew them up like that they'd have a different attitude about it????? Of course..... this is the same Dr. that told me how immature I was being because I said I was tired (had been in labor for 18 hours) during the transition phase of my labor. I'll tell you right now.... IF I had that Dr. now (some 25 years later) and he said that to me - he'd be needing those stitches we were talking about a little earlier!

ok now........ I feel better. Thanks for listening.

I actually found the sheets on Ebay. I searched through so many different style until I saw them.

Mine are all hand cut, fused and double stitched so even if they fray a bit they'll really last.

I wondered about tieing, if it would be bulky.

Were you just recently mentioned in Delaware Today magazine? I could swear that NBC outfit looks familiar!

speaking of NBC, on our list of do do's while we're here is taking the boy to see NBC in 3D:3dglasses in DTD. He saw it last year so it's really just an excuse for us to go.

It's almost 4 am and we just got back from DH's gig in St.Pete. Jeesh. Of course we had to go to Wally world after the gig, so I don't have to go tomorrow, I know my way around tampa/St.Pete so much better than O-town:confused3

OK, you'll never believe this. I was sitting here, sewing away:hippie: , when I finished attaching the top tier of my soon to be patchwork tiered twirl dress when I reach into my sewing "stuff" and discover.....the 3rd tier didn't make it into the stash:scared1: OMG, I about cried. well, the originally designed patchwork tiered twirl "skirt" turned into a dress b/c it was a little longer and it's hot here and we're going to wear it to Seaworld and just thought it would be cute as a dress, so frankly the 2 tiers w/ ruffle are plenty long enough to be a skirt. I'm going to tear down the 2 layer ruffle that was for the bottom of the 3rd tier and make it so it fits the 2nd and is only the 1 polkadot layer. My idea is to use the remaining ruffle to add to the bottom of her shirt (black with a glittery orange pumpkin-from Tar-get) We'll see how that goes.
GRRR
So initially I was totally bummed BUT I know that noone else will know (except all of you and everyone I complained to that I never get my way)that the skirt wasn't what I had planned to create and as we've said here many times our kids would be cute in potatoe sacks so I'll get over it. Though it does suck when you have a vision and a plan and you don't get to see it through to fruition. I guess I'm still getting over it:rolleyes: anyway I couldn't finish it earlier b/c I didn't have elastic, I'd only brought what I knew I needed to finish the dress (including scrap fabric but NOT the third tier) so I had to wait till my WM trip to pick up some. I will sew as soon as I am able to wake up today (it's 4:15 now) and try to get some pics up. Hopefully you guys will be around, looks like today was slow.

ALI if you read this before you leave I will be on the lookout for your cuties!

Goodnight goodnight, parting is such sweet sorrow that I should say good night till it be morrow.:flower3:

Oh, Tiffani, That BLOWS! I hate it when things don't turn out right. I'm a little bit of a perfectionist (really, just a little bit, I don't have the patience to be a real big perfectionist!) so it really bugs me when things don't go the way I had planned. And to top it off I'm a planner so then I'm really bummed! I'm sure the dress will be incredibly cute (I'm sure it's posted somewhere further than I am but I'm just seeing this!) and no one will know the difference!

Not bad!:thumbsup2 We are thinking dh might be working out of the country for a year coming up and we are going to do something "big" before he leaves. I might have to consider Hawaii!!!

So, since I dressed up, I made DH dress up also. You know that episode of friends where Joey steals all of Chandler's clothes and wears them all? That was DH tonight! I made him go around saying "I'm Chandler - could I BE wearing anymore clothes?" Needless to say, I don't think anyone got either of our costumes, but we amused ourselves.
Hope everyone had a fun night!

I like the AAAARRRRRNNN! idea, but I wondered the same thing as Lisa, did he go "commando". I love it when he comes in and says "I'm wearing everything you own!" I'm a HUGE Friends fan!

Thanks! I thought she looked so innocent in this picture! What do you think of this one?????

Nice family shot! Y'all look so happy!

As soon as I saw your oldest dd, I immediately knew she was yours. She looks just like you!

I was warm for us up here (in the 20s) so we had an easier time trick or treating

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm sorry, but warm in the 20s!?! I feel for you!

I didn't want to comment on costumes, for fear that I would miss some. They all were adorable!! I don't have any yet, we just stayed home and had our own party. We did dress up though, I wore a clown wig to dinner and dd16 was a pregnant nazi ninja? Go figure!!! The little ones were, Cinderella, Jasmine & Belle.

Need Help ASAP

Several of you have made a Cinderella cleaning dress and now dd7 HAS to have one! :thanks:

Anyway, I am going to JoAnn & Hobby Lobby tomorrow and I need to get the pattern(s) to make one. Can someone please tell which pattern or frankenpattern you used. Aimeeg is checking for me, but I know she is very busy right now and might not get back to me before tomorrow. So, can anyone else help?

I used a Pilgrim pattern from McCalls. I shortened, didn't put cuff's on it. The front has a V with a seam, I just rounded it and put it on the fold. Has a head scarf and apron. I wish now, I had thought ahead and appliqued Jaq and Gus on it. I thought it was too full, but she loves the "twirl". It was a big hit in Disney with the Cast Members.
