I love the creative design ladies. They made wonderful things for me!!
I said I was done with kids. Dh was supposed to get snipped but we kept putting it off. Now #4 is on his way. Ha ha! So I made dh get snipped before this one is ever born!

That is funny. My friend wanted 3 kids, her DH wanted 2. Finally about 7 years after their second was born, she talked him into a third. He was supposed to get snipped right after that but kept putting it off. She got pregnant--with twins! :rotfl: Now they have 5!

Just wondering, do you think it could be carpel tunnel (sp?)?

I also wondered that. I would get the worst carpal tunnel when I was pregnant. My lower arms and elbows would really ache, then at night or when driving or typing they would get numb. Fortunately it would go away when I gave birth! My SIL is in town to have both arms operated on tomorrow for carpal.

I was thinking the same thing. Any numbness? Or just pain?

There's no numbness so I don't think it's carpal tunnel syndrome. I think it's mostly inflammation, stress, etc. of the joint and muscles. I'm usually pretty healthy so I just tried to "work through it" at first and made it much worse.

Ok, here are the girls' outfits. The pics are horrible, but I will have Greg's camera in the parks so those pics will be much better!!!! I'm ready to start packing!

For Chef Mickeys on Saturday am I made these from the infamous Walmart dresses:
Sat.jpg

I really dislike those, so Abby & Sarah will probably wear these:
sat2.jpg

Emma has a few Minnie outfits to choose from, so we'll just see what she's in the mood for!:
sat3.jpg

After CM, Emma will change into this and we'll go to Epcot FW:
sat42.jpg

I made this for Rylee, and she can't go, so I'll be taking this in case Emma needs to change while we are there:
sat4.jpg

Sunday, we'll be going to MK. Emma might wear these:

Or these:

Abby & Sarah will probably wear one of these:

Emma will wear one of her Minnie customs.

Thursday will be AK:
Abby & Sarah have the same capri outfit, so here is one of them with Emma's skort outfit:

More to come... only allowed 25 pics in a post!

Friday we have ADRs at CRT for breakfast. Abby & Sarah will wear these:
crt.jpg

If I can get Emma added to the ADR (fingers crossed, no luck yet) she'll wear one of these:
crt2.jpg

Or her Cinderella overalls if she hasn't already worn them. Sarah will be taking jeans or capris to change into after breakfast. I don't think she'll want to ride and wear dress shoes all day at MK in that skirt!

Here are hairbows that go with the outfits. I didn't think to put them in the pics w/them, so here they are all together:
Minnie bows, including one for Emma's MVMCP:

Princess bows (minus Snow White I have to make today):

Other bows (Donald, MI, Nemo, Little Einstein)

I'm all done except one fur cuff Tshirt and one Snow White hairbow!

What a cute little dancer!!
Hey, that guy looks familiar! Was there a pic of him in UtahMama's 1st trip report?
Thanks about DD! I don't think he was in UM trippie though everytime someone posts a pic of HSM from MGM I look for him!

I

That costume is very pretty! And, are you saying he was in the actual HSM movie? That's super cool! And is this your ds?
Thanks, I really love the custume they picked. Who knows what it will be this year. The recital is in May so we don't see the costumes until late April.
No, that wasnt my DS but a former dance studio student! popcorn:: Lets see if I have a pic of my DS...hold on....

Here's a picture from last year.....he was fixing his bike...a daily occurance :rotfl:

Have a wonderful trip....can't wait to hear all about it and see all your pics!!!!:goodvibes

:lmao:

Wow, I leave for 5 days and have a gazillion pages to read through! Yeah!! I love seeing what you have all been up to. All the new customs are amazing!!! I just wish I had a Disney trip planned so I could start making some more outfits!!! I must continue to pester DH until he agrees to another WDW adventure sometime in the near future! Please...wish me luck!!!

LOL, the only thing I "whip up" is dinner because I have too much sewing to do to spend more than 15-20 minutes on food prep. ;)

YES! My biggest fear, though, is having the wrong part of a garment go through the cutter on the serger. I've some close a couple times and it's such a scary thing especially when I have a limited amount of a fabric.

Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for posting this Lisa! Because I just had to run out and try it! Yep, I just caught the wrong part of a skirt in the cutting blade of the serger!  :headache: :sad1: UGH! You'd think after reading that, I'd be a little careful! But I've had this jumper sitting around half finished for days and just wanted to GET IT DONE. Fortunately it is only a small cut (about 1 1/2" long and no width was taken off) and fortunately it is just for DD2 who will never care and fortunately it is just a Christmas top, so it's only a One Month Outfit anyway, so I'm just stitching up the tear and hoping it is twirly enough that no one will ever notice!

Oh yeah...I must say I am mighty jealous of all you guys who were able to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. It has ALWAYS been a tradition of mine and even though we were going to Phoenix this year I had still planned on a day of crazy-mad shopping. Unfortunantly my little one was sick and I just could not bring myself to leave her with anyone else. Luckily she is feeling much better now!!

Hopefully the stores have some more good sales before Christmas!!!

OT sort of - we are not having a tree this year. We are living in a small apartment right now while our house is being built. We were supposed to be in the new house this past summer but now it is looking like it will be April 2008 when we finally move in. We just don't have space for a tree. Very sad. DH and I are borderline depressed now due to the house and the holidays and the stress.
What I really need is a vacation. DH is most likely going to Orlando for a business trip in Jan and while I think DD and I should join him, DH is not so positive. He thinks if we go it should be adults only but I am not so sure I could leave DD for more than one or two nights and it is not worth the money to fly there and stay in a hotel for only two nights. Key to know is that we already have park tickets (we bought seven day non-expiry tickets and only used 3 days in Sept) and DD would be free for park admission. I guess I can hope that DH will be thoughtful enough and surprise me on Christmas morning with plane tickets.

I'm sorry that you are not in your house yet, it must be so frustrating. Before we moved out of state, we had a house and a HUGE Christmas tree. But when we moved, we moved to a 2 bedroom apartment and I bought a slim & small Christmas tree b/c there was no way that I had room for my big tree. We have since moved to a 3 BR apartment and I am still using the smaller tree. I know that not having a tree must be the pits but have you thought about buying a small one to get you through this year and then you could sell it or donate it if you didn't need it anymore afterwards? Hope you get everything worked out!!!

Those of you that have your children in dance classes - are you allowed to stay in the class and watch, or are no parents allowed into the classroom? I just took my DD to her first class and was a little surprised to be told that parents don't stay in the classroom. Is this standard for dance classes?

My DD doesn't take dance, but my 4yo niece does. My sister is not allowed in her class either. They have to watch from behind the one-way mirror. I also think that's weird... but apparently that's the way it works at a lot of studios.

I'm pretty excited. DH came home with a big box today. I'm pretty sure it's my christmas present (a new sewing machine!)

I wondered about this too. One the one hand I can understand the teachers wanting the kids "full" attention, on the other hand I don't think I would take it well if some stranger told me I HAD to leave the room.

What about the makeup for recitals? Do you HAVE to makeup your child?

WOO HOO! Hope you get a great machine!

As far as this dance thing goes - I was taken back. Mainly because it's the first time I didn't have a choice about leaving her. However, she went right to class without any issues. I was told she did well in class, and she was happy when I picked her up. SO, I guess I may need to just chill out. As far as recitals & makeup go - we've not gotten that far yet. I'm looking forward to the costume part, but I didn't even consider the makeup part. I guess it'll depend on what is required. I may have a panic attack about that too!

I got the last two tops done and I even made a pillow case for DD's little pillow and mended her blanket. I have a Nemo top cut out, it's been cut out since before our Sept. trip, if I can manage to sneak that one out too that'll be great but I've got other stuff to finish first.

I'll post pictures this evening, that way those of us who are going at the same time can spot each other.

I'm off to start packing and getting some more of that laundry done so it stops taunting me.

TNMom, I'll be looking for you!

We're not allowed in, either. At Christmas time, they have a class where we're allowed in to see what they've learned. And they do something around Mother's Day as well.

For recitals, the younger girls don't wear makeup. I'm not sure what age they want/require the girls to wear it.
