HAPPT THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!!

Off to my uncle's house for dinner. This is the first year I don't have to cook! Yay for my aunt! (Course, DH still insisted on getting a turducken, so we'll have that on Sunday...sigh)

Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
I just wanted to let you all know how thankful I am for your friendship for the past year. It means more to me than you know. I hope you all enjoy a nice peaceful afternoon with your families.
Lisa, Ireland, and Alexis

Dress unfinished, fine. 1 layer it is. But wait, no it doesn't matter b/c she REFUSES to wear it. she is wearing her AK dress, without the straps done, pulled down around her waist. I guess I will be making twirl skirts from now on.

HAPPY DAY!

Happy Turkey Day Everyone. And thanks for being such a great group of friends. I hope you all have a very safe and happy holiday. :dance3:

You guys are so cute!!!!! Ok, who else wants Wendy's hair!!! Do you cut it yourself? I am considering taking your picture with me next time I get a haricut! Or, hmmm, how far is Utah from Michigan.....

i am soooo jealous you are such a :snooty: i want to go to Mcdonalds . no really, i am jealous because i would love to meet you all even if it was over french fries ;)
We would love to meet you guys too!

OK, so I'm still at my inlaws (my machine is going Ka-chunk Ka-chunk again, remember) and am tiptoeing around trying not to keep them up, so I am just going to bed and hoping they wake at the BUTTCRACK of dawn so I can finish my masterpiece. Of course my heat-b-bond is at the house so I will only get the applique on if DH brings my sewing basket- it may be asking too much of him:rotfl:

But off to bed I go. see you turkeys in the AM.

How close do you live to your inlaws? I take it you spent the night there? I can't imagine doing that at my inlaws! That is really very cool that you are so close to them!

Happy day, Teresa!

I loved that episode! I loved EVERY episode! My favorite has to be the dodge ball one. I could SO relate! I have the DVD set, but when I went to watch them the other day, I noticed that the last 2 DVDs are mising! I can't remember who I lent them to! Teresa? David? Mom? Jenny?

Ah...Sixteen Candles. I loved that movie until I was 15. Then, I was watching it and my boyfriend, Joe, called me and dumped me. Ever since, when the girl with the neck brace goes to get a drink, I cringe (that's when the phone rang). However, it's a happy memory because if he didn't dump me, I could still be with that boring jerk!

You are one group of hot Mamas! I think I want Wendy to cut my hair!!
There's no better place to meet someone than McDonald's.

:woohoo: I can't wait to read it!!

AWWWWW thanks Heather, I'm feeling a bit lonely sitting here on the couch! All alone, all by myself, no body by me. Which, is what I really thought I wanted, until eveyone left, and now, I am missing the kids that have been driving me absolutely insane for the last two days!

The dodge ball episode is my favorite too! Nope, you neve lent the DVDs to me. My only memories of the shows is what I saw when it was actually on TV. I'm guessing Jenny.

Boring boring Joe. He was kind of cute though. Joe broke up with Heather right before I left for a week to go to the UP. I told Brian, "You know, she is going to have another boyfriend by the time we get back." And, she did! :lmao: It was Henry, so that worked out well!

Maybe Wendy could cut our hair at McDonald's???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes, I vote for a McDonalds meet up too! The kids can play, the adults can talk!

HAPPY DAY!

Oh NO!!!!!! Have a great day anyway!!!!

Guess what Corey did????

He used his own money and bought me a Zune! (like an Ipod) They were on sale at Meijer today. He ordered it online for me, since they didn't have any in the stores! I'm so excited! Do I have the BEST 15 year old in the world, or what!!!! :cloud9:

Okay, and since now we are talking about movies, I loved every Brat Pack movie in the 80's but especially my all time favorite movie, Sixteen Candles. Love that movie! I even watched it while I was in labor with my DD4! It happened to be on at the time, I didn't bring it (but that is a good idea:) ). I watch it every chance I get and have it on DVD. It makes me laugh now to see Molly Ringwald as an adult when she is on things. She still looks the same to me! Just a little bit more mature.

Wanna hear my Sixteen Candles story? Too bad, you're gonna anyway! So on my 16th birthday, my mom was in the hospital for a rather long stay, my older siblings had moved out, and it was just me, my dad and 14 year old sister. Dad and sis did say Happy Birthday, and I may have even had a cake, not sure. I had rented the movie a few days earlier to watch after a school dance but we never got around to it so my sorta boyfriend Tony and his best friend came over to watch the movie before I had to return it. They had NO IDEA it was my sixteenth birthday. It was bizarre.

Thanks and no you did not scare us away it was a blast and we love you! my Jayedyn asked if she could play with your jayden today.:goodvibes i knew she would, My lil miss has not taken off her bracelet yet, thank you so much for that ! i hope you enjoy the cookies and minty chocolates . i have to admit that i mostly sat in a chair and looked pretty , (which i do not mind, i do not get that chance that often , okay here is the much anticipated picture! too bad that everyone is already asleep to check it out .sorry... your kids were cute and very sweet and lilly is just adorable in real life as on her pictures , don't be a stranger WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!!:rotfl: okay if i can remember it goes from left to right wendy, jeanne and me (misty) i was able to get out the red eye so we don't look like vampires anymore;)

Hey, I look sunburned! Must be all that drinkin' we were doin'! NO IDEA what caused me to look chubby?? :confused3 And is Wendy really that tall? I thought I was tall :confused3 Thanks Spongie!

Lily spilled pepsi ALL down the front of her off white shirt, so it had to get into the wash, she finally let me pull the bib of her dress up and buckle the snaps...that's a little better.

We live about 10 minutes from my inlaws and my Grands (they are very close to each other...blocks), 2 min. from my parents, 5 from my sister and about 15 from my uncle and my cousins.
I stayed over at my inlaws cause I was supposed to finish the dress in the morning and I thought I'd conserve gas. It ended up being for nothin' cause I still didn't finish the dress the way I wanted, but it is not a turkey dress so I'll finish it this weekend and she can wear it later....if she'll put it on..the little br-DARLING

Did you like the movie? Very odd that they didn't have any idea that it was your birthday!

I think you look cute in the picture!

A Pepsi accident! Someone alert Umama!!!!

We live 10 minutes from my inlaws too, and 15 from my Mom and Heather. Very cool that you are all that close together!

Has anyone sewed for the Bitty Baby Twins? Can you suggest some patterns that worked for you?

Cindee

Shhhhhh it is supposed to be a "secret";)

Don't worry, I won'd tell her! ;)

I keep thinking I'll sew something for the girls Sarah dolls (really Chou Chou babies) but, I haven't gotten around to it yet. What were you thinking of making? There are doll clothes patterns in the bookmarks. I'm not sure if they are bitty baby sizes, but I think there are some there.

It's much much too quiet here! I'm considering being very brave and getting my new serger out! Can I thread that thing????

I hope you have a manual!:rotfl:

I have a manual, AND a CD with video directions. I've watched that a few times and have read through the maual. But, I've yet to actually try it out! How stupid is that???

Awww, thanks! Loved the movie, but even if I did just blurt out that it was my 16th birthday, they wouldn't have believed me anyway!

I have not, but I have sewn for Bitty Baby and she is the same size as the Twins (15") I made up a twirl skirt, And many YCMT patterns have patterns for 15" and/or 18" dolls. I have made the growing up Rosy (or some such name) twirl top and gauchos for Bitty Baby. Good thing she's gettin' one for Christmas because big sister is not to fond of letting her dress up her doll (Laila).
