Hey, you can call me Jam anytime! I just wanted to post this photo of Me, Spongie, and Utah Mama from last night:

I am eating chocolates they brought me right now! And I must say thank you for the cookies too! DH was much less grumpy when he started eating them!

Okay, can I just say Jayedyn and Norah are SO CUTE! Not only are they beautiful little girls but they are so sweet and good! (And unlike my children they were not pestering us every 2 minutes). They survived playing with my kids, even though the boys were "lassoing" nunchucks. We had some fun with Misty's DD Jayedyn and my DD Jayden having the same name.

Misty and Wendy are just as awesome and funny as you think they are! I can't believe they were so nice to me, even after I made Wendy hand dry my laundry and iron her own 6x6 squares (but she flat out refused to change a poopy diaper on my DD ). And she may have made a sweet comment about DS5 warming his hands on her freshly ironed quilt squares, but she neglected to mention they were Crazy Bread stinky greasy hands. I hope I didn't scare them away forever.

Spongie has the only photo of the 3 of us together with no eyes closed.

Thanks and no you did not scare us away it was a blast and we love you! my Jayedyn asked if she could play with your jayden today. i knew she would, My lil miss has not taken off her bracelet yet, thank you so much for that ! i hope you enjoy the cookies and minty chocolates . i have to admit that i mostly sat in a chair and looked pretty , (which i do not mind, i do not get that chance that often , okay here is the much anticipated picture! too bad that everyone is already asleep to check it out .sorry... your kids were cute and very sweet and lilly is just adorable in real life as on her pictures , don't be a stranger WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!! okay if i can remember it goes from left to right wendy, jeanne and me (misty) i was able to get out the red eye so we don't look like vampires anymore

You are all clearly enjoying your families and getting ready for tomorrows dinner while I am slaving away on a dress for thanksgiving that you all made me make. I swear I have made more mistakes than EVER today. I don't know when 44x44=40 but at some point that was the math I did. Halfway through sewing the bias tape I realize that this dress is not DOUBLE her measurement its QUADRUPLE What an idiot I swear!!! Okay, I've vented and had some coffee and am going to go back and ATTEMPT to finish this dress by midnight!

Jham, Wendy, Misty, it sounds and looks like you were having so much fun!!! BUT!! I also spent the day with a Diser! So there!! The very famous Heathersue aka:hkite, invited me to an exclusive restaurant, MCDonald's! She even treated me to a coffee! OOOOHHH!!! So there! Now who's jealous?????

and now that it's done it's just as I suspected, it's not perfect but full enough that noone will really see the difference.

OK, so I'm still at my inlaws (my machine is going Ka-chunk Ka-chunk again, remember) and am tiptoeing around trying not to keep them up, so I am just going to bed and hoping they wake at the BUTTCRACK of dawn so I can finish my masterpiece. Of course my heat-b-bond is at the house so I will only get the applique on if DH brings my sewing basket- it may be asking too much of him

But off to bed I go. see you turkeys in the AM.

Great job.....really like the one with Mickey on the jeans...did you paint that on or is it an iron on????? Cute! And I agree, if you wanted to tie the top and bottom together....add a ruffle or rick rack!

Thanks for the suggestions!! Im going to try them on her to see if they fit yet, if not, im saving them - i got these jeans at the Goodwill for $1.50 the other day!!! The Mickey was already on them and I thought they were cute!!!

Does anyone have any good ideas for little boys - Ive done sweatshirts and pants for DN Tim - he LOVES getting things I make for him, and of course he has 2 sisters who I can sew for till kingdom come - but when try on time is there he wants to be right in the middle of it all and would be bummed if he didnt have something to try on too!!!! he gives me those big chocolately brown eyes and says "me too"????? melts me every time!!!

I got up early to put my turkey in...got that done and then started on Rebecca's Christmas dress, got it to the point where I need to do some hand embroidery. Then made at peasant blouse for her to wear tomorrow...I love the Just Tutes one, I can zip that out in about 30 min. I've got laundry started, and picked up around here a bit. Now I'm ready for a nap.

I'm up now No. I'm ironing ruffle. Somehow at 1:00 attatching the skirt layers to the bodice seperately seemed like the best idea. I'm rethinking that position now. I forgot I was using elastic thread to gather and the first layer was lined and I didn't wanna risk the gathering thread breaking on 3 layers of fabric. it was late, it made sense at the time. I'm still at my inlaws and have to come back at 4. I'm hoping to finish up in the next 1/2 hour and be able to make her pants by 10 -but I'm not holding my breath it took me 2 days to do the first 1/2!!!

We watched that show religiously, quiet upset when they took it off the air. We have it on DVD. My favorite episode was when the father's answer to his daughter was "you know what happened to him? He's DEAD" (Ok I'm sitting here laughing by myself...)

I loved that episode! I loved EVERY episode! My favorite has to be the dodge ball one. I could SO relate! I have the DVD set, but when I went to watch them the other day, I noticed that the last 2 DVDs are mising! I can't remember who I lent them to! Teresa? David? Mom? Jenny?

Okay, and since now we are talking about movies, I loved every Brat Pack movie in the 80's but especially my all time favorite movie, Sixteen Candles. Love that movie! I even watched it while I was in labor with my DD4! It happened to be on at the time, I didn't bring it (but that is a good idea ). I watch it every chance I get and have it on DVD. It makes me laugh now to see Molly Ringwald as an adult when she is on things. She still looks the same to me! Just a little bit more mature.

Ah...Sixteen Candles. I loved that movie until I was 15. Then, I was watching it and my boyfriend, Joe, called me and dumped me. Ever since, when the girl with the neck brace goes to get a drink, I cringe (that's when the phone rang). However, it's a happy memory because if he didn't dump me, I could still be with that boring jerk!

What pattern did you use for this? I really like it!!!

It was the peasant top from ycmt...everyone commented on how it was kinda wonky to put together, so I had a huge heads up from that. Before I cut out the pattern I adjusted the arms a little bit and it worked great.

Okay, I know I've been a horrible poster, have been rarely commenting on others creations the last few days...I apologize....everything has been so cute though!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We are going to a hotel nearby to spend our Thanksgiving...it's our first year to try it, the family of mine we like lives too far away (Michigan, dontcha know?) and the ones that live close we don't like so we are letting someone else do the cooking and cleaning and checking into a nice hotel! That being said, I SERIOUSLY doubt dh will let me take my laptop....he thinks I spend too much time on here already scared1: Oh the horror of it all) so I probably won't see you all again till late Saturday or Sunday sometime. So, have fun, enjoy those families, and we'll see you guys soon!!! (I'll regale you all is some wacky family stories maybe sometime soon....then you'll all know why we're going to a hotel. They're quite funny now but sad in a pathetic sort of way. It normally doesn't bother me too much except at the holidays......hugs and kisses to all!)
