First of all let me say this "TJ you are multi-quote queen!"

I thought about Heather last night while I was ironing, and wondered if she would think I was crazy. I just love ironing with that stuff, it makes my fabrics easier to manage and it gets out every wrinkle!!! It smells nice too, but not an overwhelming scent. If I run out, I go into withdrawals... sick, I know! I can't remember who first recommended it on here, but :thanks:
Thank you, thank you very much!

How funny that you were thinking of Heather while you were ironing! Hmm, I never considered that OTHER people might talk about us like we talk about all you guys! (Heather and I have many conversations about you wonderful ladies and guy!)

Jeremy called me at 7:30 to tell me they were on their way!!! Then Rylee got on the phone to tell me she was going to Tennessee to see Nana! I love talking to her on the cell phone because this is how every conversation ends:

Rylee: I love you, Nana
Me: I love you, Rylee
Rylee: Bye Nana
Me: Bye Rylee
Jeremy (in the background): Don't hang up, don't hang up!!!!!!!!! Rylee give me the phone...
click

Then Jeremy calls me back so we can finish our conversation. It's great! She's a very active and intelligent 2yo, she's like the total opposite of Emma. Not that Emma isn't intelligent, but Rylee was asking "why" about everything before her 2nd bday and she can have a full-on conversation about anything. Emma just goes with the flow. This will be so much fun!! I wish they could stay longer than 3 days, but I'll take that over nothing.

And just to keep this on-topic: I finished her Tgiving dress last night and a princess outfit that I'm gonna save for Christmas... maybe. She always struts into my sewing room and says "Nana, will you make me a dress!" She knows I will!

Isn't she a doll!?!

 I can't wait!! Just about 9 more hours!!! Now I have to go clean my house and let Emma watch Frosty since she's been asking since she woke up!!!
Is she there yet???? What a cutie!!! I can't wait to see more pictures of her!
Thought I would share my latest creation! I wanted something that was a winter theme - but not Christmas so she could wear this one longer. This pattern doesn't come in her size so I had to make some adjustments - but it turned out pretty cute. Thanks for looking! :)

I LOVE this!!! I love the winter yet not Christmas outfits!
I always love looking at this thread! I need to get sewing again. We're still moving in so it's hard to take the time to sew (I have no real space to do it). Here's the dress I made for Ilana's first birthday thanks to the inspiration and idea from one of the mom's here. I think I did a pretty good job if I can say so myself. :lmao:

How adorable!!!!

We got home Saturday night after our week at WDW. I can't believe that it's finally over after all that work! I went through my pics to find ones where you can see DD's outfits.

Thanks for sharing your pictures!!! These are great!!

I finally finished the jeans to go with my Fall Peasant top. What a job. The jeans took forever and broke one of the needles on my sewing maching..GRRR...They also have tons of hand stitching that took, almost forever. Sorry for the poor pictures. My camera is in a bad mood...and it keeps shutting off...

Adorable Lisa!!! Hi Ireland!
That's right everybody, Spongie and UtahMama are coming to my house tomorrow! :snooty: (I had to bribe them with fabric).

I can't wait either! I'm so excited, on my way home from dropping Dsis and fam at the airport (THEY'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!--so jealous) I had to stop off at Hancocks and I was very, very bad! So even more 6x6 blocks! BTW I saw some pink fleece there with Miss Piggies all over it and had to really restrain myself from buying some for you! Not psycho here at all :rolleyes1 Sorry it won't be too much of a treat--my 4 kids will be here to drive us crazy! Maybe I can convince the big kids to watch the littles upstairs, but you know how kids get when there is company!:jumping1:

I'm jealous!!! Have fun guys!

Love it  & thanks "Nana" for making my night!! You seem like the perfect Nana!!

This has to be my absolute most favorite fabric! :cloud9:My JoAnn's doesn't carry this :sad2:

Somebody please clue me in on which peasant top in the bookmarks is the easiest, I'm having a hard time locating it.
It's the Just Tutes one.

Hummm sounds like AbbyGrace needs a Webkinz and of course the Webkinz will NEED a pettiskirt made by you :goodvibes

Cindee

Oh no, you didn't! I'm trying to stay far, far away from the webkinz thing. Actually, someone gave AbbyGrace one, and we never activated the thing (or whatever you do online). I'm ignoring the fact that you can do something with the thing. However, all this talk is beginning to intrigue me. SO... we'll see!

Thank you, thank you very much!

Anyone else as paranoid as I am now?

I was just on the Disboutique Photobucket site and the pictures were all gone. Did something happen or is my computer playing dumb?

Ut oh! Please say it ain't so! Maybe she's working on the pics or something. Hopefully is just a fluke!

Ok, I just checked. The pics are there. When you click on the link, the photobucket page comes up, and the links to the different categories are on the left. I think they used to be in the middle of the page, so maybe that's what's different for you now?

You're right. I just checked again. I had clicked on the Mickey & Minnie pages and saw nothing. Of course, I didn't click on a sub-sub album. I knew it was my computer (and not me) being dumb. I'll go edit my post so no one else gets a heart attack. Thanks!

Oh come on now..at least I hope you bought the poor thing some clothes...Our Reindeer is sporting a pair of (virtual) kakhi pants and a green and orange striped polo shirt. (he's a boy)

Has he competed in Supermodels yet ? You have'nt lived til you dress them up for points in a fashion competition :rotfl: . My oldest daughter bought my 8 year old 2, a golden retriever and an elephant.

My friends DH is going to be wearing her turkey top tomorrow too for the big feast at preschool! My little neices wore theirs too church on sunday, and my little DN wore his turkey sweatshirt!! they alll looked cute!!!

Did you use that C6000 glue to put these on the pants???? how do you keep the edges from fraying?

What, no pictures of all the little cuties in their turkey gear?!

I used Aleene's okay to wash it on the jeans (and top too). I "painted a thin layer on the back of the mickeys. I also made sure they were stuck on there good! I put a book on the jeans overnight when they dried. I'm not sure why, but none of them have frayed!

I just noticed DAVY JONES is going to be at EPCOT during Teresajoy's May trip. I think we should have a meet.......... But not during the show-I LOVE Davy JONES :)

I do too, but don't tell anyone! I am a little embarassed especially since he's old enough to be my father! I have seen him in concert once about 15 years ago, it was fun!

On that same topic, I am also a FANILOW (Barry Manilow fan). I am going to see him in concert in February here in Dallas. It will be the third time I have had tickets and I haven't seen him yet! The first time my DH "Had" to go out of town and it was on Father's Day (we didn't have kids yet) so none of my friends could go and the second time he had hip surgery when we were supposed to see him in Vegas and the show was cancelled (we didn't end up going then either, uncle died - poor timing!). Hopefully third time will be a charm! My DH is so embarassed to go, I think he is hoping that a giant hole will open up in the ground and he won't have to go with me!

So you don't think I'm a total nerd, I did go and see the Police in concert this summer and it was fantastic, a total dream come true for me to see them together! Hopefully that will redeem my music taste a little!

No worries! I am a PROUD Davy Jones fan and he has children OLDER than me. I go see him every year at Epcot. I have even gotten a hug from him! :cloud9: It is one of the few things I do for "me". My friends raz me about it, so I drag them along. It is a standing joke, but they go :) Morgan went for the first time 2 years ago (first tme I was not in the front row) and she LOVED it. She KNOWS Mommy goes to see Davy Jones.

I have gotten some GREAT pics and video of him.

Ah hah!!!! I knew there was something about you I really liked!

Barry Manilow is wonderful- and his shows are great! You will have a spectacular time when you see him in February. Walk in with your head held high girl! You will NOT be alone at that show!! ;)

THANKSGIVING PREVIEW

DD has her Thanksgiving Breakfast Feast tommorrow morning so we finally tried on her Turkey outfit. This was the first time I cut the bottom of the jeans before I attatched the ruffle. They are a little long - looks like she'll be able to wear this next year too! Whoohoo. I made 2 of these sets (one for DNeice) and a matching set of overalls for DS. I'll post all of the kids together after Thursday!
