Hi - my dog Zoey is a Schnoodle - part schnauzer/part poodle (we have been told lol) we got her from the SPCA after she had been abandoned on the street. She was in terrible shape when we got her - but has been very healthy and so happy since!! We love her!!!:yay:
I used to say that my beloved Tomia was schnockered (part schnauzer part cocker) LOL! I really wanted to get a "mutt" again this time, but DH insisted on a pure bred schnauzer because that's what he had as a kid. I REALLY prefer mutts...it's a good thing she's so cute.:rolleyes1

$100?? What a steal! That is such a pretty dress and the 2 of you are so cute!!

I am NOT making this smaller, becasue I am a CAT person (learned that the hard way AFTER we got a dog though!) Licorice is beautiful!!!! I will have to find a picture of Foster Tarp and post it! (My kitty)
I was waiting for you to say you were a cat person! I just want everyone to know that you aren't strictly a cat person, you just had a fairly (okay, VERY) unlikeable dog! Unless you lied to me all those years, you loved Pepe and Tomia!

Look at the belly! You look so cute! So does your little one!

Aww..how sweet!

And, because Heather threatened to post a picture of me in labor if I posted one taken while SHE was in labor, I thought I'd beat her to the punch!!!!

th_Foster6_360x480.jpg
Aww... I never would have actually posted a picture of you in labor. It makes me so sad to think of all the pain you had to go through (her hospital didn't believe in epidurals and I don't recall if they gave her anything for pain at all). At least Corey was worth it!
That little Foster is such a pretty cat, and how nice of him to keep an eye on the fish! I'm still sorry for the near heart attack that Josie gave him (sort of...:rotfl2: )

LOL! Yes, they do seem to be a little small. But, cute for someone else, perhaps? I love both outfits. Too cute!

What a cute family you have! I love that pumpkin outfit. Did you make it? If you already posted it, sorry that I don't remember!

I'm still trying to figure out what SD stands for in your picture description. But, you have a gorgeous family!! Your dog is TOOO cute!!! I just love little dogs!

I have LOVED seeing everyone's wedding and preggo pictures. I can't find any of the preggo ones, but here are a few from our wedding.

Nana made my dress, except for me hand-sewing about 3,000 pearls onto the bodice. If I can find one later, Nana also sewed all the bridesmaids dresses, my MILs dress and the flower girl's dress (then she went out and actually bought her own :lmao:)

Love the outdoor wedding pics- especially the beach at sunset one- I'm partial the outdoor weddings- I got married outside too.

This outfit is all done, except the skirt still needs hemmed! It looks like I'll be driving an hour to Hancocks to pick up a stinkin hemming foot! Anyway, as long as you don't look too closely, it looks ok! I shirred the back a little bit, she doesn't like how big peasant tops look on her. Not too bad for my first time, I didn't even practice first!!

Question: Do you think it needs a ruffle to make it longer? Dd doesn't want one, but I'm not sure if it looks too short or not?

th_CRTSarah3.jpg

Notice the black string on her eye? I didn't notice until after the pics, but it has been clipped!

And this one because I thought it was too cute! Her sister thought she needed a crown for her photo shoot!

Jasmie turned out great!!! Both the girls are So Cute!!

Okay, I'm going to play wedding pic now. Here's ours. I was 21, dh 25, and we got married on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful. I just wish I still looked like that but 3 1/2 kids has added 50 pounds (OMG) destroyed my body!

th_weddingpic.jpg

Sorry it's huge!!!!!!!!!
Another Outdoor shot- Love it!!! So pretty!!!
I think I'm up about 35 pounds- Those darn kids- good thing they're worth right!?!?!?
OK, It has been quite some time since I posted a picture. I figured out how to open them.... And I thought I'd add their CARS photo. These were their favorite...
th_Disney07Cars.jpg
Ok now I'm wishing I had more time to make Cars outfits for the kids- SOOO Cute!!!

I am NOT making this smaller, becasue I am a CAT person (learned that the hard way AFTER we got a dog though!) Licorice is beautiful!!!! I will have to find a picture of Foster Tarp and post it! (My kitty)

That's how we found out that we are DOG people- Our cats were crazy- they even burned out our water heater while we gone- they played with the faucet in the tub and had the hot water running, and the water heater was the kind that heats the water even if it isn't full. That was about 8 years ago. Now my DS wants a cat soooo bad, when were at the pumkin patch/farm his favorite part was chasing the cats and carrying them around. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Gotta load the pics to the computer- too late must sleep!!!

Heather- if you don't have any luck getting the brown sparkle fabric. I will look at the walmarts around here. We have at least 5 within a 30 mi. radius!!! One of them has to have some!!!!

Wow, you are the decoupage queen! They look great and I am sure you will find someone to take the too-small ones off your hands!

Awwwwww, she is so cute! And that outfit is to die for: great job! I think I am going to have to CASE that! Your son looks like quite the little cheeser too: I just want to pinch his cheeks!

Are you in the KC area? Did you go to Carolyn's? It was a madhouse - although I expected it to be that way!

Here are some pics . . .

!

We're on the other side of State Line so we went to a Pumpkin Patch over here. Not many pumpkins left to choose from though.

Your daughter looks adorable to her pumpkin outfit. I'm sure she got lots of compliments.

HELP!!!

I'm making Butterick 5009 and have LOST  piece 2 somewhere between when I last made it in July and now. It's the back piece for the bodice. I tried copying it off of the top I already have but the piece didn't mate up with the front piece. I'm making a size 6.

Does anyone have this pattern / piece that you can scan (it easily fits on a piece of paper) and email to me???

Of course, we're leaving Thursday and I started this little project at 5:30 last night - and it took me until 11:30 to (a) give up on finding the piece in my wreck of a room and (b) fail at making a pattern from an existing top. Doesn't help that my husband insists on having the fan on in there (keep the AC bills lower, but blows all the pattern pieces around), DD5 is all about learning to sew right now (so I've got more help than I need), and I've bought way too much fabric recently and it's piled all over because I need more storage.

HELP!

Deb

All the new outfits posted are so cute! I love all the fall ones.

glorib - what a cutie you have there!

Deb, I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question but, did you remember to add your seam allowance? When I have traced off an existing piece of clothing I draw it out with disappearing ink and then use my ruler to go around and draw out my 5/8" allowance.

I made these for dd2, but they are too small... oh well! Now what will I do with them...:rolleyes1

ME? I would just add a ruffle to those bad boys, and call it an outfit! :thumbsup2

Forgot I had this picture from last year when we had our grand gathering...
DH, me, DD Molly and DSIL David with Nicholas, The Big Cheese Himself, DSIL Steve and DD Kelly with Makayla, DDIL Shannon and DS Christopher with Conner. DD and DSIL left early so they missed out on the photo.

Here is Riley our Maltese, saying hi, and gnawing on a pig's ear..he is now one year old and weighs in at 4 pounds 10 ounces!

Susan
Susan! What a lovely family! Makayla looks a lot like you!

What a cute dog!

I got a postcard in the mail with the 20% off coupon or I would share...
AWWW Shoot! I wish I had gotten one!

I was waiting for you to say you were a cat person! I just want everyone to know that you aren't strictly a cat person, you just had a fairly (okay, VERY) unlikeable dog! Unless you lied to me all those years, you loved Pepe and Tomia!
The thing with Pepe and Tomia is that I didn't have to take care of either one of them! Not until we got married and I had a cat of my own, did I realize how much I really liked cats! I always thought I was a die hard dog person growing up. Probably because Mom didn't like cats! I am very impressionable that way! Now, I realize that except for a few exceptions, I don't really care for dogs.
Aww... I never would have actually posted a picture of you in labor. It makes me so sad to think of all the pain you had to go through (her hospital didn't believe in epidurals and I don't recall if they gave her anything for pain at all). At least Corey was worth it!
Yes, he was worth it!! But, I would have preferred to not go through so much pain to have him!
That little Foster is such a pretty cat, and how nice of him to keep an eye on the fish! I'm still sorry for the near heart attack that Josie gave him (sort of...:rotfl2: )
I do love my kitty
Now I'm cracking up laughing at Josie scaring him though!

Oh dear!!! yeah, I can understand why you wouldn't be a cat person after that!

Is the hunt still on for the brown sparkle fabric? I can head to WM tomorrow if needed.

It just makes me so happy to see how everyone tries to help out everyone on this board! As far as I've heard, Heather still needs the brown sparkle fabric.

Just because I think it's funny - an extreme close up of my little ham. (Pardon the goose egg on her forehead - she fell hard the other day and went smack! on the wall. When DH was comforting her, he asked her if she needed a helmet and she said yes! She is very clutzy, poor thing. Oh and the stuff on her forehead is glitter, or "sprinkles" as she calls it. She insisted on it this morning.)

Very cute outfit! DD4 calls glitter in her hair sprinkles too. :rotfl:

With all the pets being posted, I have to share too. Her name is Chewbacca, but we call her Chewie. Yes, dh does love Star Wars, thanks for asking. ;) I had to promise him we cuold use that name if we got a cat because he kinda wanted a dog, but I'm soooooooo not a dog person.
