Ok, Just for laughs here is a picture of me pregnant with my DD the day I gave birth to her. I had a planned c-section a few hours after this picture was taken. My DS is 20 months in this photo.
My DD was a reasonable 8 1/2 lbs. My DS was 9 lbs 13 ozs. We had a 21+ hour labor and then went for a c-section. He was holding his head up in the delivery room!

I am wearing a mickey shirt but you can't tell LOL!

Sophie was hard to house train but not as hard to train as our male schnauzer he is still a naughty dog and is not allowed upstairs where the carpet is. He goes in his crate when we are not home and at night. She goes in a crate when we leave the house. I try to take her outside every two hours. She sleeps in my bed at night though and wakes me up at 6:00 am every morning.

Sophie stole that banana from my three year old! I let her take a bite while DH took a picture and then it went in the trash. But she isn't usually allowed to have any people food.

My sisters Choco Lab went to obedience school 3 times and failed each time. the place refused to take him back. bwhahaaaa.......

CUTE!!! Both of you! Holding his head up in the delivery room?? WOW!!!

I tell everyone that I went through enough labor with my first (36 hours)to make up for the two planned c-sections I had after that!

LOL!!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I can't help but think that this is what would have happened if we had taken our Brittany Spaniel to obedience class!!!

Here's my baby... Her name is Lizzie and she's a black lab. Not your ordinary lapdog, but she thinks she is!

And, because Heather threatened to post a picture of me in labor if I posted one taken while SHE was in labor, I thought I'd beat her to the punch!!!!

Me, about 35 hours into labor with Corey

yeah, it isn't pretty! But, even though it looks like I'm glaring in this picture, I really wan't mad!

Hopefully that didn't scar you all too much!!! To make up for that, here's a picture of my kitty, Foster Tarp, keeping an eye on the fish for us!

Since I know you're in the KC area I just had to laugh because we also went to the pumpkin patch today and got blown around. We tried to take some B/W family photos outside but our hair was blowing everywhere. We did get a few cute ones though. I think I'll wait on the professional ones though because my almost 4 y/o couldn't get the smile thing down.
Hope you got some good pumpkins.

Are you in the KC area? Did you go to Carolyn's? It was a madhouse - although I expected it to be that way!

Here are some pics . . .

Ella up on stage, fixing to get down with her bad self -excuse the white glob - didn't want to post someone else's kid on the net!

So excited to have made it through the maze!

The pumpkin applique close-up (sorry it's blurry - I had to crop because I forgot to actually take a pic of it close.)

Just because I think it's funny - an extreme close up of my little ham. (Pardon the goose egg on her forehead - she fell hard the other day and went smack! on the wall. When DH was comforting her, he asked her if she needed a helmet and she said yes! She is very clutzy, poor thing. Oh and the stuff on her forehead is glitter, or "sprinkles" as she calls it. She insisted on it this morning.)

And one more, just so DH and DS don't feel left out.

Whew! I'm exhausted. I don't want tomorrow to be Monday!

Ella is such a cutie!!!! Your son and hubby are pretty cute too!

Forgot I had this picture from last year when we had our grand gathering...
DH, me, DD Molly and DSIL David with Nicholas, The Big Cheese Himself, DSIL Steve and DD Kelly with Makayla, DDIL Shannon and DS Christopher with Conner. DD and DSIL left early so they missed out on the photo.

awww, Thanks! :flower3:
Sorry about dropping out on the thread for a little while ...

I got busy with halloween outfits. + I wasn't feeling well for quite awhile.
Then, about 4wks ago, I was in the hospital for 2 days & a night = a "suspected minor cardiac infarction" ... nice, huh?!

We still don't know what caused it.
One morning after putting my 5yr old the bus, I SUDDENLY felt super-yicky, started passing in&out, left shoulder/arm hurt, I went NUMB all over, had troubles breathing, etc ... This had never happened to me before.
10 minutes later, I kept getting worse = so, I went to go to the ER.
As I was trying to get there, I fell down 1/2 a flight of stairs & fell out of the car. I was really weak & numb = I couldn't control my body/legs.

At the ER, we found out my BP was at 40/30 & 50/30! (usually I have HIGH Blood Pressure, we keep it well regulated, though)

Basically, my body was going into SHOCK ...
ekg's were off, but enzyme tests came back fine. (that's good!)
+ it was not a panic attack & I didn't double my HBP meds.
blood sugar was a tad high & iron was a tad low ...
neither really explained all of this mess!
They shipped me to the cardiac ward for observation.
Thankfully, the "incident" did not repeat!
Even as I left as an outpatient, they didn't know much more, but scheduled a ton of tests, for later.
Hopefully, we'll figure it out soon! :)!

My glory, you could have ....well, you know....I can't imagine they let you go home so soon...I would have thought they would have kept you monitored for 48 hours. Please take care of yourself. Did they do orthostatic blood pressures? Meaning, laying, then sitting and then standing to make sure you were stable enough to go home? You are so young for all this mess... Susan
