FANTASTIC job DEANN!!!! Wow! You are good at this!

I think it looks great just as it is. And, I was also laughing about the turtle in the background! It reminds me of a little boy I use to babysit, he loved the Turtles! He's all growed up now though.
Ready for MNSSHP this FRIDAY! I just couldn't resist posting these pics. Our pettiskirt came in today - I can't wait for my DD to wear this!

I agree, I agree!!! Who doesn't get Mermaids??? And yes!!! It is "flippin' cool"!!!!! We have to get to gether.

Finally pictures...

This is my DD's back to school outfit, today was her first day of pre-school, I can't believe my baby is all grown up.:sad1:

Your daughter looks adorable!!! She looks so sweet in that outfit!
But, I have to tell you, I'm cracking up that you are calling a three year old all grown up!! :rotfl2:

I had no pattern for this I tried to make a twirl top for my oldest and since I want to surprise her for our day trip to Disneyland on sat I don't have pics of her modeling them.

Cute!!! You did a really great job. I like the fabric you used to coordinate with the Ariel. Your daughter is going to be so excited!!!!

I made some flip flops like that...I wrapped grosgrain ribbon around the straps using hot glue to adhere it in place. Then I made a bow for the front and hot glued the bottle caps onto it. DD wore them around WDW and everything stayed in place. Hope this helps.

These are adorable! I bought my son a Dremel the other day, JUST so I could use it to drill holes in bottlecaps! He looked at me a little funny when I told him what I wanted to do. But, then he wanted to see what I was talking about, and now he wants to try it. Actually, I think he just wants to get his hands on the Mod Podge I bought at Hobby Lobby the other day! He asks me every day if he can "just try it out". I bought it to make autograph books for the girls (Corey didn't want one, I asked)

I swear, this is the only place that this question would seem normal. :rotfl2:

That is so funny and true Heather! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Our ticker says 10 hrs left till the flight. I have to put luggage in the garage and run to walmart for batteries. oops forgot them. See you all in 10 days.

Some things on the outfit that I wanted to point out.
I actually used piping on the hat and on the apron.
I also use duck cloth to give the apron a stiff shape.
I did cuffs on the sleeves for the first time. I even added a little button to the cuff.
The back of the shirt, has an iron on on Pop's Malt Shop, that I printed out on the computer, and the little cupcake on the Apron I bought from Michaels.
The glasses are from the costume shop, I just had to take out the lenses...LOL
I'm also going to add a name tag, and I'm going to find a smaller wig. This one, said it will fit children, but it's a little big.

Hey Ladies,

I would not often post things of this nature, but feel this is something really worth your time. It's a newscast about another form of breast cancer that is not detected with a mammogram and many women have hardening of the breast tissue and play it off (there is no lump w/ this cancer) and others are treated for bug bites..... It is not long but it could save yours or a loved ones life.....)

Blessings,
I just received this from a friend. I'm glad she passed it on to me, as I was unfamiliar with this type of breast cancer. Please watch the video, it could save your life or the life of someone you know.

What Kind of fabric do you use for the pettiskirts? Is it tulle? It looks softer than tulle.

I love these costumes. SO CUTE! DD wants to be a Pumpkin and DS will be a Pirate. But for his preschool party they have to be some kind of animal so I will have to make him something else. He is asking me to make him a Peter Pan costume.

This is too cute!!! You did a wonderful job!!!

Ok, you KNOW that you can't tell us you got a pettiskirt for $14 and then NOT give us details!!! Spill it!

the pettiskirt, I got at our local costume shop. I bought one in every color they had. They had white, black, and black with pink, and red. They only had 2 in each color. When I went back, I think there was only 1 left. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I had to ask the girl if the price was correct. She looked at me like an idiot. I was thinking, boy my Disers would understand my excitement.

Castle creations that diner costume is way too awesome! I love it! I should make one for me!

Although I won't be sewing for a while, I must convert my scrapbook room back into a scrapbook room.:lmao: I've been printing pics, now I gotta have someplace to put them:laughing:

I thought scrapbooking was messy, sewing is a lot worse. Fabric and strings stick to everything!

Have a great trip!!!! I am so jealous!!!! We have 233 days left!

That is so funny!! We are 172 days away from our spring trip. I forgot on the 180th day to call WDW for CRT. I remembered at 1:00 p.m. I was so so surprised when I got a table for 8:05!Hannah and I are making our countdown to Christmas at WDW chain today. I have to count and see how many days are left.

I asked Hannah if she wanted a Turkey sandwich for lunch and she said no thank you I would like a princess sandwich. So being the super creative Mom I am (and I really needed to finish something and keep her occupied) here is what she got- I cut her bread into a pumpkin (the carriage), the turkey was a flower (Belle's rose), nemo gold fish and grapes because every good princess eats her fruit. She has so excited and then guess what she asked for to drink . . . Coke Zero please!:scared1:

Did you take a picture of the sandwich?? You know we like to see pictures of all your creations!!! That really sounds cute! I love that she asked for a princess sandwich, she sounds a lot like my Arminda!

You know, I was thinking of starting a countdown to the 180 day mark on my computer! How pathetic is that? :confused3 I started the countdown to our next trip the day afer we got home from Florida in May. Corey said it was deprressing to see that we had so many days left, but I disagreed!

I should of . . . LOL

Hannah is in heaven today. I am busy with 1000 things so she has been watching playhouse disney all day. The baby even is taking a nap. Something big is going to happen this afternoon. I just know it! Wish me good luck.
