I have two outfits done!!! I just started a stripwork jumper for dgd2 out of scraps from the others, so it won't be ready until Tuesday. Also, dd8 wants to make her patchwork skirt, so take how long it takes me to make one and triple that!! But, they will all be done by Friday cuz we're doing Fall pics then!

Here is dd2's outfit:

I would like to say, my DD LOVES the stuff! (yes we are having her tested :rotfl: ) She has actually been given "Magical Moments" certificates for drinking 4 cups in a row. (She wanted more and I stopped her)

CASE away!!! It was a last resort cuz my WM was out of candy corn fabric!!

Ok here is the pictures of DD in the little skirt and tutu under skirt fluffy thingy....... I had a different shirt picked out that had long sleves but it was about 85 here. So everyone needed a wardrobe redo for the wedding, I thought it was safe to put all those summer things away,Oh Well I guess it is nice to a few lingering summery days before the -10 hits :rotfl: Anyway here are the pictures:

Poor little Makayla is so confused since returning from the World. She believes that Grandma lives at Disney World...probably because we stay at SSR in a one or two BR the two times she was with us. She keeps asking to go to the Nemo show and the Lion King show...I babysat her on Sat and she was belting out the tunes from the Nemo show all through Waldemart and AC Moore...attracting quite an audience "THat's My Dad"...if anyone has seen Nemo, it is awesome and she loves musicals...so we bought her the CD. DId you know that the man who plays Nemo's dad and the woman who plays Nemo are married and they wrote this musical? It is amazing...really OT I know. I just feel so bad for Makalya..she really is so mixed up. She has a little table and chair in the corner of her living room with a DVD personal player and she just watches all her Disney movies over and over and over...anyone else have this scenario with their almost 3 year old?

It is in the 90's here in PA...unbelievably warm. Bought some inexpensive leggings at Target today so that she can wear all her Disney creations to day care (school as they call it)...I am almost finished with her Halloween outfits...I have so enjoyed this message board and seeing all of the beautiful customs and got lots of ideas...how great is that???

Oh, why am I here at 4am??? Got a terrible cold when I returned and my meds keep me awake...glad that we are off on Monday...gotta love Christopher Columbus...

Back to Joann's in am for more sales. Our Valdemart in Harrisburg had a huge fabric department and I got tons of fabric...and AC Moore - may just be a local chain had 40 percent off all their scrapbooking supplies and I got bags of stickers and paper...now I need to find the time to do it!

So glad to be a grandma...
 Susan

How did you do the red sleeves? That is one cute GD you have there! That outfit is just the sweetest thing!

I GOT a cold too!!!! :scared1: Must be the zillions of germ on each and every square inch of WDW, rails, rides, door knobs, character noses...which we like to kiss :rolleyes1

In fact, my family is stuffy and coughy too.

Happy Columbus Day with your kids underfoot mamas! (and dads)!!!

Here are some pictures from our trip of some of the outfits you have and haven't seen:

Here's us with Tom and his lovely bride, Dee:;)

All of these came out so cute! I love the t's and especially love the candy corn skirt! Those Christmas fabrics are stunning! I can't wait to see your skirts.

What a little doll!! Love the tutu!

Umama and Tom - it looks like you both had a great time on your WDW vacation. I would love to go in Oct. for Halloween but I don't think we could handle the rain, my kids HATE getting wet (except in the pool). Your DDs look adorable and I can't wait to read your trip report Umama.

Here are my latest creations. I LOVED the carriage bling that someone did, I can't remember who, but I think it is perfect for this dress. So Thank you, thank you for your creative genius with the Bling carriage.

After we got from Disney, we all got sick which neccesitated (sp?) several trips to the doctor. One fell during lunch so we went to Pizza Hut. Well, as soon as we sat down DD2 starts asking for "Mouse...Mouse...Mouse:confused3 ?" meaning when are the characters coming around to our table...:rotfl2: It was so unexpected it just cracked me up!

I'm so jealous...no fabric around here for me

You did a great job!! I am making three or four myself with NO ruffler foot so it takes me about 1/2 hour just to do one ruffle :sad2:

I'm evil, what can I say?
 ;)

I *might* be selling some of her customs from our trip. I just have to uncover them from the pile of vacation clothes, and get them cleaned and pressed for their "new" owner.;)
:cool1: :woohoo:

And... it must be a curse! We just returned from Disney, and we are all down for the count with colds, and sinus issues! It doesn't help that we are having record heat here too.
:   I didnt figure into the Disney budget the fact that it would cost me an additional $100 in doctor copays after the trip:scared: But I know what you mean! Hope you all are feeling much better soon!!!!:flower3:

PS how do I found out how many posts I have made in this forum????
Yes I am going to start mine soon too. I have to finish up most of my current stash before I go back for more fabric and notions!!!;)

As far as finding how many posts, you have to go to the main forum page where it lists the different threads. Under the column that says "replies" there is a number which is underlined. Simply LEFT click on it and up pops the list of users and post #'s. :)

WOW That is adorable! I want another little girl to dress up. My daughter is 10 and wouldn't allow too many of these. Oh that and I can't sew. I have a machine but I can't change the thread- So I can make some holiday stuff as it the red from her ladybug costume that is in there (from when she was 4)

Great job everyone(I loved those halloween ones too!! The candy corn skirt:love: ) I am in awe!

I hope we get Lucky on our trip

Oh I doubt there will be much getting lucky on this trip- There is no grandma or auntie coming with to provide any "alone time" if you know what I mean..... With a almost 4 year old in the room I don't think I could be that intimate. He is just no noticing that is sister doesn't have something that he has. I was wondering when that would get noticed. I just said girls don't have those and he didn't ask any more questions and I didn't offer anymore info., but I'm sure it will come up again. It is getting late better go to bed before I get cracky or decide to tackle some laundry and end up in the ER again :rotfl2:
By all means, stay away from the laundry!!!! When Brian was asking why he didn't have socks this morning, I told him it was a safety issue! :rotfl:

I have a 4 year old too, so I know what you are talking about!

Love the picture of Makayla with Pooh and Tigger! We always try to get a picture there too! But, sometimes I can't find it! :confused3

And, it's hot here too! It's kind of neat though! It's October, and it's hot!

But I KNOW there's no such thing as going too often to WDW.
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! Dont' you listen to that crazy man!
:sad1: I thought you were my friend TJ :sad1:
I only tease the ones I love Deann! :flower3: But, really you must try the Beverly!
Look at that little sunshine on this cold rainy/snowy day!!

The sleeves are from the pattern on YCMT called angel wings...I bought some really cheap teeshirts...3 or 4 in a pack at Kmart and cut the sleeves off. Gathered the fabric from the pattern and stitched it on. It was so easy. Love your AK custom...just beautiful...in AK we got the most raves also from the CM's.

You did such a great job on the Aurora dress....that was one tough pattern and for a beginner..man, you are one smart cookie! Here is mine and I worked days on it...and ripped and ripped and cut and cut and took is down a few sizes...and whew..it was a BEAR...but well worth it in the end.

I saw you in Disney, but I am too shy at times to go up to someone and say, Hey are you Utah mama? What if I had the wrong person????

Enjoy dressing up your adorable daughter as long as you can...I only have one GD, and 3 GS's.....don't know when we will get our GD from Russia...it is a long process and DD and SIL are still working on saving the money for the adoption...and then we pray Russia will continue to keep adoptions open to the USA!

Gotta go blow my nose....

TERESAJOY!!!! Be NICE!!!!! I am not telling you the Kelly Ripa story (or showing the pics) if you won't play nice::cop: :lmao:
You KNOW Beverly is awful!!!! (To anyone who has not tried it-think akalzer "fizz" combined with acid dripping down your throat AGH!)
It is NOT an "aquired" taste!!!!

Schools here in WDW :cool1: are in session today. I guess it would be "wrong" to go to WDW while DD is in school right? :rolleyes1

So cute I love all the photos of everyone in the parks! THanks for posting the pictures.

My DS was 2 we asked him where he wanted to go eat and he said Chef Mickey's! Now we are close enough to drive to WDW but not close enough to go out for breakfast. The little ones have no idea how far or how much time or money it takes to get to WDW. But I love the fact that he wanted to go BACK! Fooey on all those who say they are too young to remember their trips when they are little.

Loved seeing all the beautiful pics of your DGD at WDW in her customs. I just noticed in this one your DS or DSil is wearing a KU hat - GO Jayhawks. Did he go to KU or live in KS now? My Dh and I were just trying to figure out last night which KU bball games we were going to try and go to, we split season tickets with 3 other couples.

Here are my latest creations. I LOVED the carriage bling that someone did, I can't remember who, but I think it is perfect for this dress. So Thank you, thank you for your creative genius with the Bling carriage.

Hope everyone has a great Columbus day. My kids are actually in school. KS is a little backwards you know.

My kids are in school today and off on Friday. Weird! You did a great job on the carriage bling, it really makes the outfit!

Finally have a photo to post. This is an Epcot skirt that I finished today. There are little Epcot balls wearing Mickey ears here and there all over it.
I think it came out okay.I have to start the shirt soon.
282142843.jpg

Yeah, that's ok. What? It's fabulous! Megan said, hey it's my small world fabric on an Epcot skirt, cute!

Last weekend I went on a scrapbooking retreat with a bunch of my good friends. I completed autograph books for both kids. Megan's was made totally by me using chipboard, CD's and scrapping supplies. For Wyatt's I used a pre-made album and painted the cover and attached the paper and stickers.

th_PICT1629.jpg

I love, love, love this, and not just because I have a Megan too. I know you posted a side picture, but can you show the inside? I would love it see how you decorated and punched the cds.

How cute will she look with some black tights? You did a great job!

What a beautiful girl! And the dress is nice too, lol. She is going to be the belle of the ball, or dinner at least!

Here are some pictures from our trip of some of the outfits you have and haven't seen:

I just need to dig up the Witch Ballerina. It's kinda cute since Minnie herself matched her!

You are so sweet to tell us the pattern number with each outfit: how did you know that would be my first question? Megan said she likes the Ariel outfit the best. And she would like a playdate with Nora, please.

She looks so adorable in it!!!

And it got up to 94 degrees here today!!! In October! In MICHIGAN!!! Last year, we had snow on the 11th! I checked the date on the pictures I took of Brian and Lydia making snowmen and having a snowball fight. Of course, it could snow on the 11th this year too! You just never know around here!

Great job on all of the outfits!!!! That was a lot of sewing! I have been working all weekend on the girls Halloween skirts. One set down and two to go! I tell you what...it was like 80 degrees out today and very humid and the girls played in their pool on the back deck!!!!!

Well, at least I am not alone! I got sunburned this weekend at the soccer game and I am not happy about it!

Very cute! And perfect looking bows too (jealous stomp!).

Minnie pants, finally!! I just need hairbows and this is DONE!
th_DSC000082.jpg

That is so cute! I love the Minnie pants with the ruffle! Good luck deciding what to do with your Christmas fabric!

Those cheeks! She is just a little doll and that skirt is just so flirty!

Hope you feel better soon! I love the sleeve wings you made and thank you for explaining how you did it!

Oh, I got another 50% off coupon in the paper yesterday so I went to JoAnn's today and got the mat/rotary cutter set! Woo hoo!:banana::banana:
