Oh LISA!!!! First the great Epcot inspired skirt and shirt, and now this???? OH I hope you want it to find another home:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Your yard looks great and is a perfect backdrop for the E I E I O outfit!!! Any COWS on there?? Or even better a HORSE??? We want more pictures silly!! Model or not!!

How in the world are you doing these brand new outfits and studying? Hope you are taking care of yourself too!!:grouphug:

Hi!! I actually haven't been studying...ahh...you're on to me...LOL...
I should be, because I have a test tomorrow...oh the beloved respiratory system.... we really don't need it, do we...
by the way... I don't know if you got your email, but I have the shirt here...pm me later if you can...

Yes, I have no life, and I'm still sitting here...LOL.
Unless you want another project, stay away from the Creative Disigns board. Oh my...I just found a perfect little passport for Epcot, that you print out at home. It's much cuter than the one's they sell....Adorable...I can't wait to print it out!!

I found a really cool Mickey Head sheer fabric today!

Mickeyheadsheer.jpg

I found one lone yard of it at Joanns. I think it would be awesome for an overskirt. Time to get to work.

Cindee

Check the "site that must not be named" using Mickey Sheer. I bought it over a year ago and just got around to making Kirsta a dress with it. My sister loved it and wanted it for her little girl. I needed more and got off that "site that must not be named", around June.

Well, I finally took the plunge and used some of the animal prints I bought for an AK set... which is becoming 2 sets that can mix and match. I usually don't give in the urge to add more pieces but in this case I decided to go for it. I'm happy with the jeans and tee but not sure about the skirt or what kind of top to make to go with it. I think the skirt needs more Minnie dot on it as well as some of the squares with animals so I may add the squares alternating with Mickey/Minnie silhouettes of the dot near the ruffle.

Any suggestions?

If there was anything at all (and it is perfect, so there's not much to say) - maybe a Mickey head on the skirt, on the front, as you're looking at it on the bottom right.

Oh. Sorry. You already said that, didn't you?

Forgot to ask - where on earth did you get the fabric with the pics of the animals? That is awesome!

I don't remember the specific website but I found it through quiltshops.com. It's from Makower and called Animal Kingdom - how perfect is THAT!?! :)

Just as an FYI for anyone looking for it, check the details on pricing. Some shops sell it by the yard while others "by the panel" and a panel is less than a yard, with this one most panels are about 1/3 yard. I almost bought some from one site until I realized the price wasn't for a yard it was actually much higher per yard than another site.

Hi All,
I finally finished my Old MacDonald outfit.
There are panels all the way around with different animals, a chicken, a pig, and sheep, and the tractor.

Sorry about the photos. I'm definately not a photographer...;)

I just noticed...the first picture actually makes my yard look good....LOL... We don't have sod, I'm waiting for a new sprinkler system first, and on 2 acres, it will be a pretty penny. So in the meantime, I spend my free time mowing weeds...hey at least they are green weeds....LOL

Oh that is so cute! I have some of that fabric. I could never decide what to do with it but I bought it because it was so cute. I like the way you paired it with the red fabric. Your yard looks fine! I like your nice flat driveway.

Your Epcot outfit was adorable too. Would you mind if I borrowed your technique for making the ball when I make my DS a pair of overalls? Very good idea. I especially love the way you put the Mickey ears on an angle.

I love that my driveway looks flat. I had to go back and look at the picture. Too funny. It's actually more like the hill of death, :lmao: and the reason that my kids don't know how to ride a bike yet. It's pretty steep and goes right out onto a main road.
One tip when making the Epcot balls. Iron on the silver part, do the stitching with the black thread, then iron on your stabilizer and do your appliquing. If you try to do the lines over the stabilizer, when you go to pull off the stabilizer, the lines will pull out. I learned the hard way...LOL.

Here are some pictures from our trip of some of the outfits you have and haven't seen:

Here's us with Tom and his lovely bride, Dee:;)

I just need to dig up the Witch Ballerina. It's kinda cute since Minnie herself matched her!

I think my girls would love them, but this picture is a little freaky, with the blank eyes and half a face!!!

Yikes! But if they had sequins on them and a stick, they would look those masks used at masquarade parties long ago!!!!

Love all of the outfits (and cute expressions!). I really like the animal print one .... I think its the light beige background on the bodice that sets it off! Looks like you had a great time...was it hot?????

Gorgeous outfits. I think the mickey heads on the skirt will make it perfect! Thanks for giving suggestions on how to buy the fabric, I know newbies to sewing like me appreciate everyone's help!

Hey,

I finally figured out how to make the pictures smaller! Thanks!

By the way, where is the spot in Epcot that you get the Beverly? Is it in the World Showcase?

it was boiling. Dena;s outfit is the tan one. its so cute but my daughter looks bad in it cause it was like 100 degrees and she was so sweaty and her hair looked so bad from the heat.

Absolutely adorable....where do you come up with such creative ideas! :thumbsup2

I've been waiting, too. Tink! Are you around?

My oldest has school today, but my DN's are off. Same state, different school district, about 45 min. away.

My DS had school today. He is in a private school. The local school district we live in did not have school today. Neither did alot of the surrounding schools. It is odd how different things can be.
