I finally got Parker's Halloween skirt finished. This project turned into a whole week, when it should have only taken me a day but oh well!

Here's the pics:

love it! i have the same 2 fabrics waiting by my sewing machine :rolleyes1

I  lazytown. Sporticus=yum shhh don't tell Dh :rolleyes1

Moe on doodlebops is creepy to me. The other ones are fine and I bus driver Bob is hilarious.

Sporticus is hot! Heh-heh. I watch waaaaay too much kids tv...I've even found myself wondering which Wiggle is the cutest. pirate:

Dee Dee Doodle is so cute, I think, but I LOVE pink. I saw a little one year old dressed as DeeDee at the MNSSHP and thought it was the cutest thing ever! Moe Doodle needs therapy, though. I think I'm giving this entirely too much thought....I need to hang out with grown ups!

Are you crazy? Hands down, it's Anthony!

Welcome home!

Ok I scoured the net until lateeeeee last night and of course the kids got up early, but I did find a jumper dress on :wizard: But it doesn't end for 3 days- and was I hoping to get going asasp now that I have FINALLY made a decision. I did put a bid in -it was only .99. But I'm still got my eye out for something better.

Not sure what you are looking for, but this one is cute. Search (eb@y) boutique minnie outfit/costume. Pretty good price, but it ends in little over an hour!!

My children were not allowed to nor will ever be allowed to watch:
Barney, BoohBah, Teletubbies or The Wiggles.

I do let Liliana watch The Doodlebops and Lazy Town, but she doesn't relly care for either. So it's a non issue.

Thanks Heather for checking out B's page. He had a pretty decent show last night.

Everyones creations are wonderful...Love Parkers twirl skirt, how could you not...she just lit up in it!!

TJ... Cracky??? C'mon!

Busy now...chat later...t.

You are funny! Is Moe the one that always pulls that cord?

No Barney!??!!??!! Oh dear. :rotfl2: Corey use to love Barney. He had Barney underwear that he use to run around the house in all the time. :rotfl: I remind him of that when he makes fun of Lydia watching Barney. If only I had taken a picture. :rolleyes1

If you are busy, I guess we can wait on those promised pictures of your husband's sexy new haircut!

ETA: And yeah, CRACKY, haven't you heard?? All the cool kids are saying it!!! :rotfl:

Good morning all! I would like to find a place online where I can purchase personalized labels to sew into my handmades. Something like "sewn with love by..." I can't seem to find any. Do you guys have any tips??

Ask where they have them at JoAnn's. They have them usually on a small display on a counter. the little packages also let you know how to order more personalized labels. I embroider my own labels on wide white ribbon with my embroidery machine. Nana

I was updating our itenerary yesterday and was printing it, my DH picked it up and was like..."Are you mental"...our itenerary lists the days, what parks we are visiting, the ADR #'s and what outfits the kids are wearing. example MGM-kids wearing Cars outfits, MK-DD Cinderella Dress, etc...He thinks I have lost my mind.

Doesn't everyone do this??? :confused3

So much cute stuff! I am thirty pages behind, but just want to give huge compliments to everyone for their creations!

LOVE this!!!! I got the same candy corn material and made a dress for my girls! It was the first thing I have ever sewn in my life, except for the apron I made in 8th grade home ec. which looked more like a dish cloth.:rotfl:

Sorry for such a long post!

Those husbands! Sometimes they are sooo clueless! My dh had the nerve to say to me last night "I suppose you are making them outfits for everyday we are at dw?" DUH!!! Of course I am!!! Shouldn't they be cute everyday!!!! He said "how much is this stuff costing me? I said well I can always buy them clothes for at least $60 a piece per outfit! He shut up needless to say!

You could also make your own w/ some printable muslin or poplin and a basic word program.

my mother is a teacher and recently there was an email poll among the teachers in her school as to who was the cutest Wiggles. Soo sad! hysterical...but a little sad. hehe BTW, the winner was Greg.

Personnally the Upside Down show makes me flipping crazy! Those 2 need about a bottle of ritalin

Me either! I can't stand Barney or the Wiggles & the other 2 are sorta freaky. DD4 love the Doodlebops though. There's a new show on Nick Jr. now that I'm not letting her watch too, but I don't remember what it's called. It's funny, 'cause when one of those shows come on she yells for me to come turn off the tv.

I am not going to be on the dis right now. I don't really know when I'll be back. I just wanted to thank all of you for your camaraderie and inspiration. All of your gorgeous outfits inspired me to keep at sewing and practice. All of you regardless of skill level have been an inspiration. While I was on here I really felt a sense of friendship among the board members and I am thankful to have met all of you. I hope that someday our paths will cross again.

Have an excellent Halloween, I know there are many costume contests to be won. Keep up the excellent work and Have a great time on your next trip to WDW.

Till next time...tifani.

You're telling me! I think I am starting to get a highly inappropriate crush on Diego. :lmao:

I know of a good tutorial for making your own out of ribbon and iron on transfers. They are super cute!

Tifani, we will really miss you! Hope you can come back soon. :grouphug:

Ok, I know I am starting to beat all of you down, but you are the only people that act half way interested :rotfl:

My DD wanted to dress like Cinderella when we eat at the Castle (I know, the Castle doesn't have the best food, so forth and so on, if we ate McDonalds nuggets and paid $25 for a 4 pack at the Castle, it would be worth it, just so our DD gets to eat at Cinderella's Castle) Anyway, I thought a "costume" would be too itchy, so we had this made instead. It didn't turn out exactly like I imagined....but it will do...Need a different crown! Also, should have ironed, before pictures.
Picture256.jpg

This outfit.....I am still debating on if I like it :confused3 My DD loves it, because it's Mickey, but hmmmm? But the bow is OUT!

I found NANAS CUSTOM CREATIONS and boy that woman kicks butt on a sewing machine.............. I freaked when I opened the box from Nana, I did the happy dance all over my store:yay: I will post pix soon of DD5 in her spectacular Aurora costume from NANA...and I think I love Nana now!! Im glad Nana lives far awy or she will think Im stalking her. The dress is superb and Maddi and I both adore it, wonderful job, thanx so much Nana! :upsidedow
I have to say that i completely agree with that! We love Nana too. =) She did a great job on a little dress for my dd.

So, my mission began to find "better outfits" to wear to DW :lmao: I wish it could have ended there, but it has ventured out: A Bow for EVERY piece of clothing we own, First Day of School, Birthday Outfit, Halloween Dress and Costume, Christmas Outfits...the list goes on.

Since finding this board, i too feel like my dd needs an outfit for every occasion. My family thinks i have lost it. I just say it is a good thing we only have one girl!!! I have GOT to learn to sew. I cant afford an outfit for everything, birthday, thanksgiving, christmas, dallas games, brothers baseball games... the list goes on and on and on. =) My newest plan is to take a sewing class and then get a machine... we will see...
