Here is my DD's outfit for her 1st day of preschool (next Thursday). She wore it this morning to her playgroup -- it was ABC/123 day.

Parker just keeps spinning and twirling around in this. She absolutely looooooves it and that just makes my day!!!! It makes me forget all the mishaps and errors it has in it.

Absolutely! If you will right click on the image, go to "save image as", safe it, upload to photobucket, then add the link from photobucket to your siggy.

I haven't even figured out how to MAKE a siggy. Can you help ME ?

Tally up everything and don't go over 50. I used to have a slightly bigger Club Cool photo plus a WISH ribbon and a ticker...and went over. Trust me, you don't want to break the rules! I was looking for a sailor dress/outfit pattern to, but gave up. I didn't see any that matched my skill level that I liked.
Then I saw the Bon Voyage collection (hearts and anchors...super cute) on Gymboree's website. Oops.
Lucky for me it was on sale... and is and additional 20% off now. Argh.
I also like the heart and cross bone bling jeans, but my DD is to small for those. I bought more than I thought I would, but I couldn't help myself and then I got Gymbucks, so I can buy more later!

I know its not custom, sorry gals and Tom. But I just couldn't pass it up.

Actually I want to make an applique on a jean jumper type thing for her... or jeans and a top... I may just order some strawberry shortcake sailor fabric and make some "fake appliques" out of and a coordinating top or something... it's for RCCL and Carnival cruises so it doesn't HAVE to be Disney!

If anyone sees the fabric - PLEASE let me know!!! I am off to search Voldemort!

Simplicity 5982 is an easy Sailor outfit but it is for Toddler Sizes. Not sure if that is what you need ?

I think I saw some of that Strawberry Shortcake Fabric at my JoAnn's. It is adorable. I think there were two coordinating prints. How much do you need?

Here is my latest sewing creation. It is for MousekaMaddi's daughter, she helped design the outfit. I think it turned out pretty cute.

I don't go to Murfreesboro, so it wasn't me!!!
I only shop at the Cool Springs Walmart, the Walmart on Charlotte, JoAnn's in cool springs and Hobby Lobby in Franklin.
They have like no fabric!!! and it's sooo overpriced.
but anyway, my days of buying stuff are OVER! I am soooooooo broke! And I have enough projects to last me awhile.

I was busted by the siggie police. Now, I'm very careful and follow the rules-well most of the time.
Unlike the other types of transgressions that earn points and eventually disappear, the siggie violation never goes away. As UtahMama says,it's on your permanent DIS record.

I copied this from the siggy guidelines in case anyone was wondering what 50KB translated to. I know I was confused because when I check properties, it was listaed as bytes, not KB. This may help.

In addition to what Utah Mom and rie's mom posted, you can't have more than 12 lines in your signature. Someone posted the best way to count lines is to highlight the first line in your signature then drag down to the bottom and count the number of lines. I'm pretty sure spaces between the lines counts too. Hope that makes sense.

I get a lot of grief from people in my family. My sister (who buys her outfits all of the time so I really don't get this comment) tells me "you are making it seem like clothes and looks are the most important thing." I almost cried. I just want her to look cute. I work really hard, and pretty much hate my line of work most days, but having my daughter (and sons too by the way) look good, makes me feel good. I also feel super guilty about her starting daycare, and having worked with children pretty much all of my adult life, I do know that cute kids, and cute dressed kids get more attention. It's just a fact. I'm not saying its right! I want her to stand out a little...



I was watching all of these auctions. The bidding went too high. They are darling though.



I am going to Target tomorrow. I hope they have the "I am lying" tee for my son. It would be so perfect. He is a Ps2 junkie. It's true, I've seen him go through withdraw and its NOT a pretty sight!



Oh please count me in! If it's near Baltimore, its only 3 hours away from me. A simple day trip really.

I lost all the auctions at first and then at the last minute bid on them all! I do not know what I was thinking!!!! I had my limit and blew it. I cannot turn back now. I just hope she does not put out Christmas soon.

The Hobby Lobby's that is on the border of VA and NC. It is around 8-10 hours without traffic.
