Adorable! This is one of my favorite's!
Woohoo look I made a small pic!
awwww LOVE it. It looks a little retro, in the best of ways!
ooo and I learned how to pull photos out of the topic review!
th_Picture020-1.jpg

Wha??? Where were these? Are they already on the shirts? Kids section, adults, what. Must have

th_Picture003-1.jpg

I love this pose. It looks like she is doing some square dancing or something. :goodvibes

When will I learn to check the directions even if I think I know what I'm doing???

Well here is the custom that arrived yesterday. It's not Disney...I guess DD could wear it to Animal Kingdom. It's a 4 piece set, It's for DD's birthdy next week, so no model until then! I love this set, I'm thrilled that I won it!!

DD loves the giraffes at the zoo! Our zoo (Detroit Zoo) just got a new giraffe exhibit. There's a new platform where you can actually feed the giraffes!! We can't wait to go and feed them!!

I LOVE this! Wanna share the seller? Pretty please??:hippie: I think it would be fabulous at AK!! So different from the red and white dots and safarri prints! I'd love to have this for my girl!

We stopped at K Mart (or possibly kmartomort?) and I bought these on clearance. Thinking I may use the E 6000 and glue the cut outs of the sequins on a tee shirt or jeans. Any other ideas? I bought 3 Mickey's, two Minnies, and the one Ariel. Only because that is all they had!!

I posted the ones I found a while back. I removed them from the tank and uses heat n bond ultra to put them on tshirts and it has worked so far. I have tink also and plan to leave that on the peach tank. Did you look at how they are sewn on? Very easy to remove! They are in the girls section on a clearance rack. They were originally 9.99 and I got them a few weeks ago for 4.00. Not sure how much they are now.

Very cute, you can tell she loves it!! Now what are those adorable fairy outfits hanging in the background?!?!

They are birthday presents. They are "Disney Fairies" costumes found in Targemort, and Waldamort. However the one on the left says "Tink " on the tag, and the one on the right is "Prilla" I think? I got the one on the right at Targemort for 9.99, the other I have seen for 20.00. Her aunt bought her that. i am considering a long sleeved purple shirt to go under the Tink outfit, and a set of applique jeans to go with it.

Here are my dd outfits from last year. We are making new ones this week and I can post when we are done.

They were in the kids section. I have multiple sizes. 6/7, 8/10 and a 12 I think. It didn't matter to me since I am only using the heads anyway.

I like her expression too, but I was a little concerned it looked like....well something different!

Oh I wish mine had Tink!!! Do you have any more Tinks? I'd love to trade!

I have two more. First is the girls with their matching princess shirts. Then we have the family with our matching tye dye.s

Precious!!! I actually thought it reminds me of It's a Small World, so whimsical!!! BUT, Animal Kingdom is really lacking in PINK, so I vote she wear it there!

My one woman mission to pink-up Animal kingdom....:rotfl2:

P.s. please PM me the seller or her store so I can shop or bid! I like her style!

I've been sharing my Alice outfit during it's progress. It now is totally done. (Notice, I did take your advice and removed the ruffle from the front). This is for our 1900 Park Fare breakfast! For those that I emailed the pattern for Alice to, how are you coming? I'm excited to see what others do with it!

... and these are my favorite... the Minnie overalls. We just got the MJ Crocs and Minnie head Jibbit. I found this adorable top at Carters (Mally's a 6x, so I painfully made my LAST Carters purchase for her, EVER!) I may apply something in the back top of the overalls where I took off the OshKosh label. Maybe another spray of flowers?

Sorry about Mally's PAINED expression. She was missing Hannah Montana...

I'm so excited to have these done and put together! I am going to put them in their ziplock baggies and put them in the suitcase!!! What satisfaction!!! (Yes, I'm nuts... we don't leave for another 11 weeks, but I LOVE to pack!)

I am also considering doing a pair of denim Minnie capris for ME! If I can find a good fitting pair of jeans at the right price, I will...

NO WAY!!!!!! Absolutely fabulous! I love all of them! Love the hidden Mickeys!

I am totally coveting the Alice! I'm just about done with my DD's Alice dress to wear ti 1900 Park Fare...the apron NEEDS something special, though.

I really love the ruffles on the back side!

All are amazing! Really impressive! :cheer2:

LOL!! Too funny! You know...I was just thinking...What do these people say when someone asks them what they do for a living? "I'm a pattern model." Come on, we've gotta feel kinda sorry for them, don't we? :rotfl:

This just strikes me as really funny, but maybe that's because it's after midnight...

I'm a pattern model....:lmao: :lmao:
Could be worse....you could be a colonoscopy equipment tester...:lmao:

I'll have to look for Hannah Montana up here!! That would be AWESOME! ... eh, hem... for my DD, that is...
  :goodvibes

yea - our DD's will love it - LOL! I did it all for HER! :) I know our concert sold out in a matter of minutes!

Just been struck by a lightning bolt of inspiration! Look on voldemort under Custom Boutique Sky and Earth Skirt Set Fall!

I just might have to find similar fabrics in pinks and browns (my favorite).

QUOTE]

OMG!!!!
I saw the same fabric, In PINK AND BROWN at Walmart.. today!! I almost bought it, and didn't. I was like...what am I going to do with this...LOL...
:lmao:

My oldest dd (15) needed a formal this last winter, and she let me sew for her. We ran into a friend at the fabric store who asked why we were there, and dd said getting fabric for her ball gown, friend replies "Oh yes, you did tell me you were having it made." LOL, guess that sounds a bit better than 'my mom is making my dress'.

This reminds me of me making AliKat99's first prom dress....memories of sitting in a livingroom chair being surrounded by 15 yards of "Southern Belle" skirt trying to put on a 8" double standing ruffle on to the bottom and ending up 18" short on the ruffle (done without a ruffler BTW...had it but didn't know how to use it:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: It was the eighties...you know BIG full length skirt!!! Of course this was minor compared to the fact that in the 3 weeks before prom I think I had to alter the bodice at least twice because she was so nervous she gained a little weight then over compensated and LOST a whole lot more. I got my thanks though when the pictures came back and she looked so happy to be "just like" her friends who paid like $400-$500 for their dresses alone...I spent like $65.00 on the fabric and ended up with enough to make a purse and lace glovelets...Nana

Here is Audrey Grace in Castle Creations lovely cow outfit. She just loves it! Her facial expressions are because she is trying to twirl on my countertop! We went to the Zoo today in this. ( I know , NO cows at the Zoo, but it's what she wanted.)

She loves the alligators.

She looks soooo cute... her hair looks like you tried my aqua net technique...LOL

a gazillion posts. I'm going to make this brief so it doesn't take up 5 pages..

To; Stephres, livindisney, eeyore, revrob, jt42blue , lazydazy

Your outfits are fantastic....

Okay -- I thought DH and I were the only one's that used this phrase -- our DD(4) is the Poster child for Birth Control

Here is what I did yesterday. It is my trial run for my planned Belle outfit -(I spent $60 on the fabric for the Belle outfit so I NEEDED to do a test run on something else... anyway I learned to do BUTTONHOLES yesterday -- yeah Here it is -- retrorocket:
RetroRocketstripedjumper002.jpg

The vintage rocket fabric is COOL! Looks great with the red/white! What pattern did you use? Or did you come up with that masterpiece on your own. I really am excited to see the Belle version!

At the beginning of summer, I took a bunch of my dd's too short jeans to a thrift store. It didn't occur to me at the time to sew a ruffle on the bottom or turn them up and make fancy capris. They had fit her fine in the waist but were floody. Pooh! I'm so going back to the thrift store and buy them back!

Ok , I'm new to all of this. I have two girls and would love to make some outfits. I need simple for I'm just learning how to do everything. I'm a NEWBIE to sewing.

I made this today for the plane ride:

My monkeys are upside down but, whatever.

This is very cute! I also loved the matching pooh set!

... Actually, they do! ...
And at Hobby Lobby, I found some CLASSIC DISNEY STORIES Coloring Books = Alice, Dumbo, Bambi, etc ... They are nice, but $6 each & 'thin' = some great pixs to work with but not a ton, like the BIG coloring book mentioned above had.
Thank you!:thumbsup2

Here is what I found at Jo Ann's.

I also bought polkie dots for $1.49 a yard
You find the cutest fabric. I don't need to see any more material for projects...I have to finish what I already started...:rotfl2:

Uhhhh, I need a king size pillow case...
But that' be nice and breezy for the Summer or vacation. I'd worry it'd get stuck in my crack, if you know what I mean :rolleyes1

!
I was going to lie and say I didnt have a clue what you were talking about...Unfortunately I have the been there done that tshirt...:rotfl2:

I finished my 2nd applique (Well I almost finished it, I still have some detail work to do). I made the whole thing as requested by my DD. SHE is very happy with it! I tried to get a decent picture of her spinning in it and couldn't catch her LOL.
Now I am off to enjoy a diet pepsi! I still need to make something for her to wear to her picnic tomorrow

aaaah!
I love monsters inc. I call my littlest dd BOO! Ever since she was a tiny baby that's been her nickname. Your outfit is great!

ARGGGGG!!! I am NOT meant to sew today!!! I started making a ruffle fro DD's Halloween outfit...it didn't work!!! After trying to do it using a basting stitch (it broke BOTH times) I broke out the dental floss. Of course I didn't have quite enough, so I shortened my ruffle. After zigzaging over the floos I startrd gathering. Much better, until I came to a section where the needle caught the floss!!! AHHHH!! I tugged too hard and heard the tell-tale SNAP.....the zigzag stitch broke!!! I decided to give up on that for now and finish DD's "Cow" dress for a birthday party tomorrow. While hemming it (not even an inch into the hem actually) The machines needle hits a pin...bending it into a "W" shape and of course breaking the needle!!!!! :scared: Now I know I have more needles but...yep you guessed it I CAN'T FIND THEM!!! So I go and get the mail and lo-and-behold an absolutely adorable custom is just waiting to be opened. I go to take a picture to show all of my "new" friends and the battery on the camera is DEAD!!! I QUIT!!! I AM DONE FOR THE DAY!!! I MIGHT ACTUALLY GO CLEAN!! :laundy:
Oh my God. You're going to go clean! It must have been a really traumatic day... I'm sorry it was that bad! I don't even want to tell you how many needles I broke in one day. I think I hold the record. :thumbsup2

I am thinking of doing this to go with a skirt for my DD to wear on the cruise. Keep in mind it is only pinned and the pattern is still in the middle, but does it look like a mickey head to you? My hubby thinks it is a heart, but I am about over asking him his opinion. So what do you think?
Honestly, I absolutely thought it was great. I was looking at it thinking, wow, that is really cute, I wonder if I could case that and then I read what you said about your dh. Men. That's all I'm going to say about that! :rolleyes1

They look like dorks. Yep i said it...dorks!!

In my family, the mom would have mascarra dried under one of her eyes, and her hair would be stuck up straight , where she tried to look "professional" at work today and forgot that she really dosen't know how to apply make up and /or hairspray, the husband would be shirtless with something looking strangely like a beer in his hand, the son's jammies will be stuck to him because he "forgot" to use the towel after bathing, and the daughter would have a lovely combination of chocolate and toothpaste dried on her face. AND the 15 y o would be in the background rolling his eyes at his parents and siblings, and texting his friends about his latest "girlfriend of the minute "
Hey, that looks like my family on that pattern! Yeah, just kidding. I just wish my kids got along that well...:lmao:

No, I didn't but it's just as well, they probably wouldn't have liked it. SIL and DB hated the shoes :sad2: After that, I thought for certain after that they wouldn't like the outfit. They said they did like it, I wonder if DN3 even got to see the shoes They never have her open her gifts until she gets home so I have no idea. The shoes came before the outfit and all of it had to be rushed as my DN3 B-day party was moved up a week at the last minute :rolleyes1 I wound up begging the designers to rush and have it all overnighted. I did tell DB and SIL to return it all to me after the shoe comments if they didn't like it as I would save it for when my other DSIL has children. DN3's mom offered to give it back after DN3 wore it to WDW in case I wanted to hold on to it to give to my other SIL down the road  I said no, that it was hers to keep. I would never re-gift after it was worn  DB did apologize for having "different tastes" I said it wasn't necessary, if I had kids and they gave me something plain an unimaginative for my kids I would not like it one bit :lmao:
Sorry, I just needed to vent :scared:
NO WAY! I had just quoted that outfit to tell you how cute it was when I came across your next post. That is just WRONG! That outfit was so cute! I wish I had an aunt like you for my kids. I have ALL brothers. 4 of them, so I really feel for you. I got the dissapproving comments on things I gave to my nieces and nephews over the years too. But, I would have had to say something ito them f I had spent that much on a custom outfit. Nicely of course...

Great job on your outfits! I saw your Alice originally, and I do like it better without the ruffle at the bottom!:thumbsup2 She is going to be so cute at WDW.

Love the rocket ship dress and I cant wait to see Belle :thumbsup2

Here are my dd outfits from last year. We are making new ones this week and I can post when we are done.
Your dd is so cute and she's going to look like a little angel at WDW! Great job on all your outfits.

I loved the outfit and the loose tooth! Kids are so funny.

Those pajamas are great! I was just thinking I used to dress my kids in cute pj’s like that but now, well, tshirt and shorts only. Enjoy them while they are little!

Uncle no fun! I love it. Sounds like my family….

To everyone else, I apologize if I missed anyone, if I did just PM me. I know I keep missing things because I'm trying to keep up. You guys are moving at the speed of light here...:rotfl:
