I haven't been on here in a while, and can't even begin to catch up, but thought I'd post what I worked on yesterday. It still needs hemmed and I thought I'd layer it over leggings with lace on the bottom.

I wish the back panel was closer to the same width as the others, is it bad?

Hi,
When I use fabric to make a pillow case style dress I use 2 pieces each 20 inches wide
I think I got that measurement from measuring a pillow case before lol something real scientific LOL

The name of the fabric you are looking at is by Robert Kaufmann and named "Hello in Many Languages". I found it on overrainbow.com

I ordered it last week and it arrived within 3-4 days of ordering it.

WOW! I love the warm welcome! We are heading to Disney on Sept. 5 and I have plans for an outfit for each day. I am sewing a few and painting the others. I bought the fabric from hancocks with the flags/international kids, but after I saw the Smiles Around the World fabric, I just had to have it. I don't have my design in mind just yet. I just tried to upload a picture of the Aurora shirt I painted for my best friend's little girl, but got an error message about "too low post numbers." Guess I'll have to participate more before I can share.

I have 21 month old boy/girl twins, so I really need to get started on my outfits or I'll never be done in time.

I did the exact same thing. I bought one, then the other, and then finally made an outfit with the original one for DD3. I'm going to make me something with the smiles around the world! We'll be there about the same time. Sept 2-9. Welcome to Disboards!

I finally got my machine back, and now that I'm caught up, I'm off to sewing land again!!!!
