I think this is one of my favorites!!!

You're right... well worth it!

Confucius says, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.":thumbsup2

Shouldn't that be a "thousand pieces of paper"? (Sorry I couldn't resist):lmao: It sounded funny as I start my second dossier :cool1:

You're are 100% correct!:lmao:

Your second dossier? From which country for your second? Congrats. I hope it goes quickly.

If anyone runs up on the retro looking Mickey swirl or the pink seersucker like material with the different color (red, yellow, white etc...) little Mickey ears all over it - please pm me and let me know who and where.
Round trip today was over 150 miles - two JoAnn's and one Hancock and no one has it! I did get some jungle looking stuff I hadn't been able to find for Animal Kingdom outfits though so the trip wasn't a total loss. The clerks at both JoAnn's and Hancock said they would ship if I could find who has it!!
Thanks ~

I bought the Mickey swirl fabric (lime greensort of) at Joann's yesterday in Franklin, TN (they might call it the Cool Springs store) I think I might have seen the other there too...not sure though.

Ok here is my second handmade thing again I don't sew! They are jeans to match shirt I posted a few pages back. Please be honest with me. It is still drying and I know I have to fix the ribbons at the bottom, they will go all the way around

JoAnn's in Westland, Mi. has the Mickey swirl.

I just bought that nemo patch! Too cute. I like how you used the material for the bubbles.

Very cute and creative for a non-sewer.

I'm looking for necklace/bracelet set for this outfit -

Anyone got a good seller?
I'd also like to find a bracelet to go with the Mickey Swirl

thank you, i was nervous posting. I am no where near you all! I am thinking of getting a cheap sewing machine though to try out this sewing thing

It's worth a whirl! I just tried sewing for the first time last week, and away I go..... It's been fun. Frustrating though when I don't understand the terminology in the patterns. I just do my own thing. It's just for my daughter, so who cares when it's not perfect!:rolleyes1
