Here is the iron on patch I was thinking of adding to the white somewhere to give it more Disney flair

So there you have it. Not exactly Disneyfied but we had a concept we were going for anyway. :lmao: We just aren't happy with the results.

I really like that! Very cute. I do think a little red ribbon would really set it off nicely.

I paid $11.99 for the pair, and maybe $3 shipping. I asked her to make me a smaller pair than what she usually has listed. They're just the right size, probably about 3 1/2" across. :thumbsup2

I think I PMd the seller's name to everyone who asked. Let me know if I missed....or is it OK to post it on here or is that a "no-no" :sad2: ?

I was told by Doc (an administrator) that it is ok to post sellers names.
You can attatch bows with an alligator clip, Korkers are cute too - here's a hair bow korker on an alligator clip attatched to dd's maryjanes

You could do "boutique bows" too!! Maybe scotchguard them so they stay clean?!
Oh my! That is a cute idea!
I love your daughter's name. My great-grandmother's name was Arminda Polly Steivener. Just love it!

WOW!!! She was named after MY great-grandma!!!! (they called her Minnie though) And, MissyBrenda, the Diser that sent Arminda the Bambi, had a grandpa named Armin, her mom wanted to name her or her sister Arminda, but didn't(her dad didn't like it I guess :confused3 ). It certainly isn't a name you hear very often, so it's really exciting to me when other people have heard of it! Where was your great granma from? Mine was German.

This reminds me to ask, do ya'll hand wash your items or just keep them out of the dryer? It seems that the novelty fabric fades quickly.
I wash all DD's boutique items in cold/cold with woolite. I will usually lay them flat on the couch to dry... Some I stick in the dryer :goodvibes The items that aren't sew around the edges (like the outfits on this thread) I think I would spot clean or hand wash.

Just got done with this shirt for me. I figured moms can wear custom clothes, too, right!? :)

I love this! I may have to make myself something for our trip:rolleyes:

The pattern I used was "The Twirly Dress" by SewBaby (F5869). I purchased it at Joann's on the wall with the easy sew patterns. I just saw they have a website on the pattern www.sewbaby.com. Not sure if it's on there I'll go look. The skirt is one shape cut six times. I folded the pattern in half, so they would look like strips and cut twelve. If you do this remember to add 5/8" more on the side you folded for the extra seam you'll be adding.

This is the only pattern I have, so I don't know if its like all twirl skirts. Hope that helps.

Yes, it is there http://www.sewbaby.com/big/patterns1_/sb-33.html

BTW... The pattern is to make a dress. You can either make the top or use a store bought, it explains both, and it has individual sizes seperately. Great for making sister dresses!

WOW! They have som REALLY cute patterns on that site! Thanks for the link! I LOVE this one!!! http://www.sewbaby.com/big/patterns5_/kma-5.html

Okay, after seeing that absolute beautiful snow white outfit, from our favorite ebayer we've all been going ga ga over. I will, I repeat, I WILL LEARN HOW TO APPLIQUE if it kills me! My daughter will have that outfit! Well, some sort of knock off anyway:rotfl2: I now must go dig out my singer's owners manual and learn all this stuff!

Oriental Trading has a bead book and you can bet the backs, like the jabbitz, to make your own buttons.

OK so I attemted to make something. It isnt very good and it isn't done yet. The glue still has to dry as does the fabric paint. I can't sew so I had to use glue. Please be honest in what you think, I don't want to put my dd's in something that is awful!

I think it is very cute! I love that fabric and bought some of it to do something with it. Who knows what! I have the biggest fabric stash you could ever imagine! Really!

I also think that anything I see homemade on a child shows that that child is loved and thought about dearly. Not saying that store bought clothes don't say that, but the homemade show that you have that extra thought of let me do this or that!

Is the Snow White currently listed? If it's the one I'm thinking of, my dd has it. I had hers made a little different in the sleeves though.

We have two new customs. I will post pictures tomorrow. One is not Disney, it is Rapunzel. The other is Belle... I know I have a Belle, but this is different. It's jeans and a halter.

You all are too fast! I can't keep up and post separately but I *love* the outfits that have been posted this week. You are all so talented!

Here' my first attempt at a loopy bow.

Should I make another for pigtails, or is it too big for that?

I love your loopy bow. I haven't tried them yet. It's difficult from the picture to tell how large it is, so I can't give any advise on, if you should use 2 or not....but it's really cute.

Seeing it in the post made me decide definately TOO big for piggies!

I decided to go ahead and take pictures tonight. They're not in the best light but here is our new Belle set. I do love it!

I think your loopy bow looks great. I can't really tell how big it is, but I Love big bows in DD hair. I always make them big and she always wears her hair in pig tails. I will post a quick pic. It is not in Disney, but in a custom I made her for my older daughters cheer comps. You will see how cute the big bows look:)
