Hello everyone. Thanks for all of the kind words and words of encouragement. I won't be able to be on the computer that much in the next few days. I had a minor surgery yesterday...ouch, and I'm not feeling well today. It might take a couple of days.
Anyhow, I did end the listing. I just didn't want any trouble. To answer some of the questions. No, there item wasn't copyrighted. It hasn't even been listed in a long time. I saw this dress over a year ago and just saved the picture. I used my own pictures and even created my own pattern for the dress. I have had problems with ebay in the past and just didn't want anymore. I don't know if we can put our ebay id's on here or not, but to answer the question, yes I'm castlecreations, but my daughter's first name is Ireland and it's her castlecreations...hint hint...LOL...just pm me.
Yes there is another castle creations, but it isn't me...yes I heard it from her too, but when I showed her that I've had that name as my registered business name for years, she shut up...LOL...
I will be signing off now, I'm getting the sickie sweats...LOL
Thank everyone for giving me some advise...btw..I bought fabric to make sea world outfits....:sad2: just kill me now...I'm totally addicted....

Thank you, Graciegirlie. Took the words right out of my mouth. :grouphug:

**It also should be noted that we have control over who joins AND LEAVES the group, so even if there IS a troll invited, she will be removed immediately once noticed.***

If we have any more trouble from eBay sellers, I think we need to start our own private board that we can decide who can join or not. There are several sites that this can be done on. We can post our pictures of our outfits and not have to worry about "trouble." It is just an idea that I'm throwing out.

I've actually thought of that, too -- a private Yahoo Group. However, without knowing who is running to whomever, I wouldn't know whose registration to accept and whose to deny. I'd want to let everyone in, and I tend to be a bit too trusting sometimes and would believe everyone who told me they wouldn't share info posted on our group with outside people. KWIM?

Love it!!! I love that pink Mickey fabric. I spotted it at Wal-Mart and bought the entire bolt. I think it was either 8 or 10 yards.

WOW you miss a few days around here and you have no idea what is going on!! I guess tonight (when my little one is in bed) I'll have to go back a few pages and find out what is happening .....

Anyway I am off to the store today to get some tulle for the no sew tutu's which my DD5 now "has to have" ...this may sound like a stupid question, but I don't sew or anything and I was wondering if there is a type of scissors I should buy to cut the tulle? I am just sure that my regular scissors will rip it apart. ANy advice??

Also does anyone know where the cute handpainted Jo Jo outfit came from? I have searched ebay, but I can't find anyone selling anything like that.

Thanks so much for everyone's help!

Elisa, I hope you feel better soon! Sorry you had to go through that... Have you ever thought about having someone else list your ebay for you? I know you have a gorgeous dd but it may be the way to go.

Hi there, sweetie.

Well, as YOU know, I got the lecture also....and I didn't even SELL anything!

About a year ago, I "chatted" with Ebay personnel about having similar custom auctions. I was told that Ebay is a HUGE place and there's bound to be similar outfits listed and that by listing a similar custom outfit, there would be NO recourse for the original seller. Yes, you would get in trouble if you used someone else's pictures :rolleyes1 , but not if your outfit is the same.

PERSONALLY, I think these women are getting angry that us buyers are fighting back. ENOUGH with these high prices just BECAUSE they're part of a "well known" group. We've HAD IT. Let others, who are JUST AS TALENTED, make some cute sets for less. Get over it, Ebay snarks. Seriously, grow up. If someone in real life has the same shirt as you, do you go running around, stomping your feet and pointing fingers? NO. I wish these women would grow up and act like adults.
Next time someone emails you, tell them that Ebay is a huge marketplace and there's room for everyone.

AMEN SISTER ! ! ! :woohoo:

Tell it like it is. They think that if you come in with just as much talent, and sell for a lower price then they loose their outragious profit. BOO HOO HOO. Well, thats the real world. That is the way it goes. Everywhere you go, everything you do, there will be competition. They need to realize that. Maybe they need to do some research and try to get the price down to make their items a lil less expensive and make a better profit. But as long as there are women (such as myself) that want to save money and get the same adoreable duds than, they may just have some stiff competition from clothing crators and makers (such as the talented sewers on this board).

Make them clothes, and sell them for what there worth, if only for a few months to put the other ladies out of commision for a month or 2. :lmao: Hit em where it hurts.

now, I created a ebay group. sill still need some Moderators to help out. but on a side note - ebay is a great place to help control the trolls and lurkers. they can only join with there ebay id and that limits the crazies! We will know exactly whom is whom really quick!

Thanks for the Jojo info!

Now does anyone have advice on the scissors? Should I just buy fabric scissors to cut the tulle? Will any kind of scissors work?

I am leaving soon to take my dd5 to ice skating and will be next to a hobby lobby, so any advice would be appreciated!

What do u mean it's not great. I think it is. If you can find the black and pink shiny t shirt that one of the poster made a dress from a few post back for the shirt that would be darling. You know the dress with the bows down the front (wich by the way was a darling dresss - W2G!).

Was this hard to make? I have the pattern and want to make some for my older daughters soon as we have some extra money for material and tulle. We just had to fork out lots of money for my twins b-day party, and now we are going on a vacation to Hershey part this weekend. So, my husband put me on a spending freeze - :confused3 -

I guess I should've finished reading before posting my concerns about screening for a private group. Sarah, may I have an invite? I'll PM you my email address, and feel free to look up past posts.
