That's FUN! I bet you'll have a great time wearing it! I'm waiting to make mine until closer to the trip since I'm TRYING to lose some weight. I don't want to make it now and have it falling open on me all the time! (I'm making the one without the ruffle though - my 'girls' don't need the extra attention!)

ok, here it goes!

Those are awesome! Do you do your own appliques? I love the minnie safari one. Did you do it or purchase it from somewhere?

eeyore3847 Great job on the outfits--your kids are adorable! I think the Lilo, Tinkerbelle and safari outfits are my favorite--nice appliques! Did you applique yourself?

Blakely

Eeyore 3847: Wow! Great job on all those outfits! I would comment on each one individually, but I love them ALL!! I am VERY impressed! Your kids are adorable!

I'm so far behind in posting but I had to comment. We went in Feb. this year (14-21) and it was FUH-REEZING!!!!!! You know it's cold when the people from Buffalo are complaining

I recommend layers!

My husband commented that when I start a hobby I get addicted and that's all I do. Tonight he asked if he could put the kids to bed so I could run to JoAnns to "feed my addiction." My poor scrapbooking stuff sits ignored in the corner! :rotfl:

After every outfit, my daughter exclaimed, Mommy, make me that! She and I loved every single one and can't wait to see the rest. I bought the pink minnie head fabric today so I can get started. Fortunately, we are just going for Labor Day weekend so I don't need quite as many outfits.

Does anyone have a problem with sons feels ignored? My son said today that he never gets any attention because I am always making stuff with my daughter. I am going to spend more one-on-one time with him, but does anyone have any suggestions?

I can't really answer your question well since I only have one and he is a boy, but he loves to go and pick out fabric. Today he wanted transformers, which I just didn't know what to do with. He wanted penguins the other day, so I went ahead and got 1/2 a yard, maybe a bag or something. But maybe let him pick some out one time and make a pair of shorts, or mickey head on tshirt. How old is he? Mine is only 4 1/2 so he is pretty pleasable. And he loves to watch me sew. I usually tell him to get lost and feel bad! I just cannot sew with him over my shoulder! Okay, get lost was a bad phrase, but you get the point.

You could make him pirate, peter pan or pixar stuff. It is not the "stuff" he wants . . . it is you. Just giving him your time will mean the world. He would probably like that better than clothes.
