Kids dining plan

Have a question if kids can pay for their own dinning plan... We will go down with my relatives later and we have seperate booking and dinning plan. We are planning to do some dinning reservation together and some seperate. If my kids are going to another resturant with them, can my kids pay for their own dinning plan with their own magic band if we are not with them? Thanks.

I think you would need to give your kids charging 'rights' on their band then.

The kids can use their bands to pay the DDP meals, but hey cannot charge the gratuity back to the room. My girls did this last week.

Thanks. So did your girls paid cash for the gratuity? Do I need to give them the purchasing right on their bands and do they need to enter the PIN to pay?

No. I paid the gratuity in cash, but I could have charged it to my room. I gave my DGD charging privileges, but she is 13. The two little ones are 5 and 6, but they did need the pin. I used the same pin for everyone in my party, both rooms, so that anyone of us but the littles could charge to the room, and anyone who was with them could just enter the pin.

The children can use their magicbands to pay with their dining credits. If they have charging privileges on their bands and know the PIN then they can charge the gratuity back to the room just like any other purchase.
