How do the Kids Clubs work at the resorts?
Do you sign up ahead of time?
Do you pay by the hour.
Is the price the same everywhere?
Is there a schedule?
Do all the resorts have them?

We have only done the cruise, and I know that their kids program is different (and no extra charge for it).

We are new DVC members and our first trip will be in March. We have two nights at HH and then 3 nights at BCV. Now at BCV we will be at the parks and very busy, I am sure. But how does it work for the Kids programs at HH?

It's been about a year, but basically you pay by the hour (?? $6 per kid, $7 at the Neverland Club at the Poly). We usually book ahead for neverland, we don't have to for the others. You get a pager which reaches pretty much througout Disney property (we have been paged at DTD with the kids at the Poly).

Our kids (7 and 10) seem to like the Neverland better (more kids, more activities) and usually ask for at least 2 'nights out ' for themselves (which we will accomodate only if they behave;) ).

Never did kids club at HH - All WDW DVC resorts except OKW have Kids Clubs associated with their 'hotel'.

Then we party:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I booked the Sandcastle club two days prior to our visit in late August. I'm not sure it was necessary there. The kids had a blast, they wanted to go back the next night!!!

One further thing, the price has gone up for all the kids clubs at WDW the price is now $10 per hour per kid.

I'm sure OKW offers Kid's Club - does anyone know the name and if it's popular?

We have 1 child and is very easy going. He would definitely like the kid's club over Kindercare!

Please advise. Thank you in advance.

I have 4 year old twins and looked into booking the sandcastle club a few weeks ago during our stay at BCV. It was $10 per child per hour. I figured if my wife and I went out to diner and maybe to PI for 4-5 hours it would cost about the same as a days admission to the MK. Not worth it to me as we had these services for free on our cruise and there were much more activities.

Wow - that's some rate increase in 2 years - almost a 50% bump!

BWV - The Harbour Club
BCV - The Sandcastle Club
VWL - The Cub Dean
OKW - none

We have used the Sandcastle Club - Matthew loves it. We go have a nice dinner at the Crab Bake at BC and he has PBJ and video games.
