We just spent spring break at RPR. While there, I wanted DS and DD to have room cards with charging privileges. The front desk said, "OK, but it won't do any good. They'll need to show photo ID everytime they want to charge."

Since the kids don't drive yet and we don't make a habit of bringing their passports to Florida, they were out of luck. The staff said it was a security measure to ensure strangers didn't get a hold of the card and start running up our bill. OK, fine, but I still thought it was rather inconvenient.

Just thought this info might be of interest to someone.

I turn off charging of the kid's card for that reason, I'm scared they'll lose it.
I give the daughter cash for a snack and drink in the park. Then she meets me and the wife for lunch and I pay with a credit card.
