Kids at 'Ohana

There is not an official kids menu but they are well known for bringing kids other options. My nephew was very happy to get a burger on our first visit to Ohana. I can't remember all the choices our server rattled off, but it was the standard kids fare.

they are not on the menu officially but I have seen reports of chicken tenders and fries, mac and cheese and a brownie and m&m dessert brought for the kiddos. There may be more meal options, those are just the ones I remember offhand.

We went in March and we were asked by our server if our children (ages 4 and 2) would prefer to have the children's options and we said yes. The server mentioned a few options and we chose macaroni and cheese and brownies for dessert. It was perfect for our two kiddos.

Yes, but as others have said, it is kind of basic stuff. I know mac and cheese was one. I don't think there were a lot of entrée choices, but there was at least one other option.

I want to say it was a hot dog, but my last visit was a while ago.

If they don't want the bread pudding and ice cream, one option was to bring them a solo scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Unless you have specific awful experience, I'd recommend at least trying to go with the usual Ohana offerings. They're not especially weird or scary. They aren't eating fish with eyes or anything with tentacles. It's noodles and meat on sticks.

They offered my son grilled cheese, mac & cheese or chicken nuggets last week. We declined, but he did get the brownie with M&M's for his dessert.

As others have stated, Yes they can bring you typical kids fare. My kids have had chicken strips and fries, grilled cheese and hot dogs. The hot dogs must be good because my tiny DD5 ate 4 of them, so the kids meals are AYCE too.

we once got our youngest son a bowl of Mac and Cheese there... you have to ask its not on the menu

We were offered a hot dog, hamburger, mac & cheese, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The waiter did not mention chicken fingers/nuggets, but I have seen them mentioned frequently as something that is offered. My son wasn't feeling great and chose the grilled cheese. It was a triple decker grilled cheese (bread, cheese, bread, cheese, bread). He wasn't quite sure what to make of it. We were offered grilled meats for my son as well and he could have shared from any of the items that were brought family style as well, in fact he did eat the salad and some broccoli. So if you are worried that your child may not like what is offered you can order them something "safe" and still let them try the other options.

We've always got alternate items for our kids. I also am one of the few who don't like the bread pudding and they bring brownie and Ice cream. Sometimes you have to ask, sometimes they offer.

I wonder if a kids size pizza would be available ?

I don't think I've ever seen that mentioned as something offered/brought for the kids. I think the most common items are hotdogs, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and chicken fingers.

You could definitely ask, but maybe have a back up with one of the above items just in case.

I'm planning to get my kiddo a mac and cheese as he won't eat the noodles, veggies or potstickers (he might like the wings with seeds scraped off)... but he would probably eat the chicken and steak so hoping he can have both. From what I've read it should not be a problem.

Thanks for asking this! Good to know I can get mac and cheese to go with the meat for my boys :)

There was no issue with us sharing items with our son even though we ordered a kids meal for him. We did have to ask about a getting a kids meal, but there was no problem or hesitation.

My youngest daughter wanted chicken nuggets and chips from the café downstairs at the Poly, so I went and ordered that for her with a milk and brought it upstairs to Ohana for her to eat while we were eating. They had no problems with us doing that.
